Four Best Reusable Coffee Filters List Models; One Lists a Misfit

A reusable coffee filter has to fit the brewer before anything else matters. So the first question we put to these ten listings was simple: which machines does each one say it fits? Four answer with model names or numbers. Perfect Pod names thirteen Keurig brewers, GoldTone lists twelve Cuisinart models and series, RUOYING lists nine Black & Decker model numbers and GoodCups names three Cuisinart models. Four more give only brand names and a cup count, and two name no machine at all.

Then there is the other direction. The YEOSEN BCF-02 warns “Don’t fit for Hamilton Beach Coffee Maker46310”, the only listing that names a specific machine a filter does not fit. Past fit, the paperwork thins fast: three never say what the mesh is made of, and not one of the ten states a warranty.

So this guide sorts the ten by how precisely each listing tells you what it fits, then sets out shape and size, mesh material, BPA and dishwasher claims, pack count and warranty. Star ratings and review counts were not captured for this roundup; popularity below is Amazon’s Best Sellers Rank only, as of 5 October 2026.

Best Sellers Ranks and specifications are taken from each manufacturer’s Amazon listing as displayed on 5 October 2026 through a United States connection, and may change. No listing states a warranty, so there is no warranty column. Pack count is one filter unless the name says otherwise. “Machines named” counts models or brands the listing says the filter fits; exclusions are noted separately. Amazon files these ten under Reusable Filters, Permanent Filters and Paper & Plastic, so category ranks are not comparable across all ten. Dimensions are quoted from each listing’s bullets or spec table and were not measured by us.

Scroll the table sideways to see every column

How We Chose These Ten

We researched current listings, compared manufacturer specifications and documentation, and read each listing’s compatibility claims, dimensions and material statements line by line. We did not carry out hands-on testing, and nothing below is presented as measured performance data. Star ratings and review counts were not captured for this roundup. We used Amazon Best Sellers Rank, buy-box stock and listing specifications instead, and nothing on this page describes or implies how owners have scored these filters.

  • Reusable filters only — every product here is a permanent filter meant to replace paper or single-use pods: K-Cup pod filters, cone filters and flat-bottomed basket filters. Paper filters, cloth filters, French presses and pour-over drippers with built-in mesh were not in the running.
  • Compatibility recorded exactly as printed — model names and numbers where a listing gives them, brand names where it gives only brands, and silence where it gives neither. Exclusions, a model or a size class the listing says it does not fit, are logged separately, because they are the most useful warnings on the page.
  • Shape and size from the listing — pod, cone or basket, the cup count the listing uses, and every dimension it prints. Where a bullet and the spec table disagree, or a title contradicts itself, we report both.
  • Mesh material as stated — stainless steel with any grade the listing gives (304, 18/8, “surgical”), gold-tone, or not stated. A colour field is not treated as a material.
  • Claims counted, not graded — a BPA-free claim, a dishwasher claim and a warranty are counted only where the listing says them in words. A bullet promising customer service is not a warranty.
  • Same-model listings checked — we compared model and part numbers across all ten, so that no filter appears twice under different sellers. The two Tronmei listings share a brand and a template but carry different model numbers and sizes; we treat them as two products.
  • Popularity from Best Sellers Rank only — ranks are quoted exactly as returned on 5 October 2026, overall and in the category Amazon assigned. Ranks move constantly.
  • Verified stock and seller — each product was the buy-box offer and in stock on amazon.com on 5 October 2026.

The Ten Reusable Coffee Filters in Detail

Best Sellers Rank #499 overall; #1 in Reusable Filters

Why We Recommend It

This is the one listing on the page that hands you a checklist. Its fourth bullet is headed “Fully Tested for Compatibility” and reads: “The Café Save reusable coffee filters (coffee pods) work with Keurig K-Mini, K-Mini Plus, K-Duo Essentials, K-Duo Plus, K-Slim (one Stream Brewers), K-Classic, K-Elite, K-Latte, K-Cafe, K-Select, K-Compact, and Keurig 1.0 and 2.0 coffee machines.” Counting 1.0 and 2.0 separately, that is thirteen named Keurig brewers. No other listing comes close for a pod machine, and the only pod rival on the page, Keurig’s own My K-Cup, names none.

The list is the reason to buy it, so read it against your brewer’s badge. Keurig has made many more machines than these thirteen, and the listing points to “compatibility chart for full details of compatible models” that is not reproduced in the bullets. If your brewer is on the list, the listing commits to it in writing. If it is not, the listing neither includes nor excludes it, and the chart is the next stop. The K-Slim entry carries its own qualifier, “one Stream Brewers”, which reads as a note that only a particular K-Slim variant is meant. The listing does not explain it further, so if you own a K-Slim, check which one before you order.

It is the only pod filter here that says what its plastic is not. The second bullet calls the cups “100% BPA-free”. That is one of four BPA claims on the page, and the only one on a pod. What the listing does not say is what the filter mesh is made of, stainless, nylon or anything else, and it does not say whether the cups can go in a dishwasher. For a pod that will be refilled and rinsed every morning, those are two gaps worth a question to the seller.

Four filters per pack changes the routine. Every other listing here except GoodCups sells a single filter. With four pods, you can fill a morning’s worth of cups in one go, or rotate them so one is always dry. The listing says to use “your favorite medium-ground coffee or even grind your own”, and says “No additional parts or adaptors are needed”: fill, “snap the lid closed and brew”. The spec table gives each cup as 1.79 inches high and 1.8 inches across. The 0.13 pound weight is for the pack.

What to weigh. It ranks #499 overall and #1 in Reusable Filters, by far the best rank on the page; the next best overall, the Keurig, is #3,263. The model field reads “K31000-PARENT”, which suggests a family of listings rather than one item. No warranty is stated. The waste figure in the second bullet, “over 10+ billion one-time-use coffee pods are left in landfills yearly”, is the seller’s claim, not a measurement we can check. For a Keurig owner whose brewer is on the list, this is the most specific promise of fit on the page.

Pros

  • Thirteen Keurig brewers named by model
  • “100% BPA-free” stated
  • Four filters in the pack
  • No adaptor needed, stated
  • Best rank on the page, #1 in Reusable Filters
  • Points to a fuller compatibility chart

Cons

  • Mesh material not stated
  • Dishwasher use not stated
  • No warranty stated
  • K-Slim entry carries an unexplained qualifier
  • Brewers not on the list are neither in nor out
  • Compatibility chart not in the bullets

Best for: A Keurig owner whose brewer appears on the thirteen-model list and who wants several pods to rotate.

2. RUOYING Reusable Stainless Steel Coffee Filter, Fits Black & Decker 8-12 Cup — Best Basket Filter

Silver stainless steel mesh basket coffee filter with a flat bottom and a smooth rolled rim

The only basket filter on the page that lists model numbers, nine of them.

Key Specifications

Format 8-12 cup flat-bottomed basket
Machines named Black & Decker CM2035B, DCM100B, DCM2160B, CM1160B, CM1160W, CM1200B, CM1200W, DCM2000W, CMD3400MB
Exclusions named None
Size 4.5 x 4.5 in; 3.25 in high
Mesh material “High-grade surgical stainless steel”
BPA claim Not stated
Pack count 1
Dishwasher “100% dishwasher safe”
Weight 2.82 ounces
Warranty Not stated
Seller RUOYING-US
Best Sellers Rank #42,665 overall; #86 in Reusable Filters

Why We Recommend It

Three basket filters on this page are sold for 8 to 12 cup machines; this is the only one that tells you which. The fifth bullet reads: “The standardized size perfectly fits most 8 to 12 cup basket-style Black & Decker models( CM2035B, DCM100B, DCM2160B, CM1160B, CM1160W, CM1200B, CM1200W, DCM2000W, CMD3400MB) drip coffee makers”. That is nine model numbers you can match against the label under your brewer. The Tronmei pair, the YEOSEN and the MagiDeal give brand names only.

Read the wording as well as the list. The bullet says “most” 8 to 12 cup Black & Decker models, and gives the nine in brackets as examples. So the nine are the firm commitment; a Black & Decker brewer not on the list is a maybe. The listing names no Mr. Coffee or other brand, unlike the rest of the baskets, which makes it the narrowest in scope and the most precise within that scope. If your machine is a Black & Decker and its number is on the list, this is the filter on the page whose listing is easiest to hold to its word.

It is also the tallest basket on the page, and height is a fit question. The spec table gives 4.5 by 4.5 inches and 3.25 inches high. The Tronmei 8-12 states 2.5 inches high, and the YEOSEN gives no height at all. That is a difference of 0.75 inches between the two 8-12 baskets that state one, by our arithmetic. Whether 3.25 inches is the right height depends on your brew basket and the lid or showerhead above it, which is exactly why the model list matters: the listing is telling you the machines it was sized for.

The material claim is the strongest-sounding on the page. “Made of high-grade surgical stainless steel”, with “One-piece integrated molding design” described as “rust-proof, warp-resistant and corrosion-resistant”. “Surgical” is not a grade number, unlike Tronmei’s 304 or YEOSEN’s 18/8, so it tells you less than it sounds. The listing makes no BPA claim, and it does not mention a plastic frame or handle, so there may be nothing for such a claim to apply to; the listing does not say. It calls itself “100% dishwasher safe”, and says the mesh is “Designed for thousands of brewing cycles”, a design claim rather than a warranty.

What to weigh. It ranks #42,665 overall and #86 in Reusable Filters, ninth of ten on the page. It lists a weight, 2.82 ounces. No warranty is stated. For a Black & Decker owner, the low rank does not change the point: a model number match is a better reason to buy a filter than a best-seller badge on a listing that names only a brand.

Pros

  • Nine Black & Decker model numbers named
  • Surgical stainless steel mesh, stated
  • “100% dishwasher safe” stated
  • Full outline given: 4.5 x 4.5 x 3.25 in
  • One-piece construction described
  • Weight given, 2.82 oz

Cons

  • Black & Decker only; no other brand named
  • “Most” models, so off-list machines are a maybe
  • Tallest basket here; check lid clearance
  • No BPA claim
  • “Surgical” is not a grade number
  • No warranty stated

Best for: A Black & Decker 8-12 cup owner whose model number appears on the listing’s list of nine.

3. GoldTone Brand Reusable No.4 Cone Style Replacement Coffee Filter for Cuisinart, Made in the USA — Best Cone Filter

Reusable mesh cone coffee filter shown on a plain background

Exclusions named None
Size Not stated; “form fitting”, adjusts “from oblong to round”
Mesh material “Surgical Grade Stainless Steel”
BPA claim Not stated
Pack count 1
Dishwasher Yes, stated
Made in USA, stated
Warranty Not stated
Model Tek-ccf04
Seller Teklectric(TM) Kitchen and Home
Best Sellers Rank #25,997 overall; #50 in Reusable Filters

Why We Recommend It

This cone names more brewers than any other cone on the page, and more than Cuisinart does for its own. The title says it “replaces your Cuisinart Permanent Coffee Filter”, and the third bullet gives the list: “For use with model DCC-1000BK, DTC-975BKN, DCC-750 Series, DCC-1100 Series DCC-1200 Series, DCC-2200, DCC-2600, DCC-2650, DCC-2750, DCC-2800, DCC-2900 and CHW-12.” That is twelve entries, three of them whole series. The GoodCups cone names three Cuisinart models. Cuisinart’s own GTF names none.

Read the heading as well as the list. The bullet is headed “FITS MOST MODELS”, which is broader than the list that follows. Treat the twelve entries as the commitment and anything else as a maybe. One model appears on two cone listings: GoodCups names the DCC-1200, and GoldTone names the DCC-1200 Series. The DCC-3200 and DCC-3400 appear only on GoodCups. If your Cuisinart’s number is on one list and not the other, the choice makes itself.

It claims to change shape to fit. “Filter is form fitting and will adjust from oblong to round based on the brew basket and will hold the required shape once coffee is brewed.” No other listing on the page says anything like it. It may explain why the listing gives no dimensions at all, no height and no diameter, but the listing does not say so, and it leaves you nothing to measure against your filter holder. The model list does the work the dimensions would otherwise do.

The name is a brand, not the material. Despite “GoldTone” in the brand field, the first bullet says “Proudly Made in the USA using Surgical Grade Stainless Steel”, and the colour field reads Black. It is one of two listings here to call its steel surgical, with the RUOYING basket, and like RUOYING’s, “surgical” is a description rather than a grade number. The fourth bullet says the filter cleans “easily under running water” and is “dishwasher safe”. There is no BPA claim. It is the only listing on the page to state that the filter is made in the USA.

What to weigh. It ranks #25,997 overall and #50 in Reusable Filters, seventh of ten. It sells one filter, against GoodCups’ two. No warranty is stated. For a Cuisinart owner whose model or series is on the list, this is the most specific written promise of fit among the three cones, with a stated stainless mesh and a dishwasher claim.

Pros

  • Twelve Cuisinart models and series named
  • Surgical grade stainless steel, stated
  • Dishwasher safe, stated
  • Made in the USA, stated
  • Written as a replacement for Cuisinart’s own filter
  • Says it adjusts to oblong or round baskets

Cons

  • No dimensions at all
  • No BPA claim
  • “Fits most models” is broader than its list
  • One filter in the pack
  • “Surgical” is not a grade number
  • No warranty stated

Best for: A Cuisinart owner whose model or series appears on the listing’s twelve-entry list.

4. GoodCups 2-Pack #4 Reusable Permanent Cone Coffee Filters for Cuisinart and Ninja — Best Cone Two-Pack

Two reusable mesh cone coffee filters shown side by side

Three Cuisinart model numbers, stainless mesh, BPA-free and dishwasher safe, two to a pack.

Key Specifications

Format #4 cone
Machines named Cuisinart DCC-3200, DCC-1200, DCC-3400 (10–14 cup) “& more”; Ninja Coffee Makers, no model
Exclusions named None
Size Not stated in inches; spec size field “Small”
Mesh material Stainless steel mesh (title); colour field “Gold”
BPA claim “BPA-FREE CONSTRUCTION”
Pack count 2
Dishwasher Yes, stated
Warranty Not stated
Seller GoodCups
Best Sellers Rank #8,154 overall; #9 in Reusable Filters; #563 in Paper & Plastic

Why We Recommend It

This is one of two cones on the page that name the brewers they fit by number, and the only one that names the DCC-3200 and DCC-3400. The title says “Compatible with Cuisinart 10–14 Cup Brewers (DCC-3200, DCC-1200, DCC-3400) & Ninja Coffee Makers”, and the first bullet repeats the three Cuisinart models with “& more” and adds “other coffee makers using #4 cone filters”. The GoldTone cone names twelve Cuisinart models and series, including the DCC-1200 Series, and Cuisinart’s own GTF names no machine at all. If your Cuisinart is one of the three, this listing commits to it in writing.

The Ninja half is looser. The title names “Ninja Coffee Makers” with no model, no cup count and no filter size. Ninja has sold machines with different filter formats, so a brand name alone does not tell you whether a #4 cone fits yours. The firmer rule in the listing is the one in the first bullet: “coffee makers using #4 cone filters”. If your Ninja takes a #4 paper cone, that is the test; if the listing’s Ninja claim is all you have, ask before you order.

It is the only listing here to state mesh, BPA and dishwasher together with a model list. The title says “Stainless Steel Mesh, Dishwasher-Safe”. The fourth bullet says “DURABLE & BPA-FREE CONSTRUCTION”. The fifth says “rinse under running water or place in the dishwasher”. The two Tronmei listings make all three claims too, but they name brands, not models. One field disagrees with the title: the spec table gives the colour as “Gold”. Stainless mesh can be finished in a gold colour, so the two need not conflict, but the listing does not explain it, and we report both.

It gives no dimensions. There is no height, no top diameter and no length in the bullets or the spec table, only a size field that reads “Small”. For a cone, the #4 designation does most of the work, since it is the filter size the listing is written around, but the absence of a single measurement means you cannot check it against the cone holder you have. The two-pack helps here in a practical way: one cone can be drying while the other brews.

What to weigh. It ranks #8,154 overall and #9 in Reusable Filters, the third-best overall rank on the page and the best of any cone. It is also the only cone that makes a BPA claim. No warranty is stated. The flavour claim, that the mesh “allows natural coffee oils to pass through”, is true of metal mesh in general and is the trade every filter on this page makes against paper; our pour over coffee maker guide covers what that does to the cup. For a DCC-3200 or DCC-3400 owner, or anyone who wants two cones and a BPA claim, this is the cone to buy.

Pros

  • Three Cuisinart model numbers named
  • Stainless steel mesh, stated
  • BPA-free, stated
  • Dishwasher safe, stated
  • Two cones in the pack
  • Best rank of the three cones

Cons

  • Ninja named without a model or size
  • No dimensions at all
  • Colour field says gold; title says stainless
  • No warranty stated
  • Size field reads only “Small”
  • Cuisinart range given as 10–14 cup, not per model

Best for: A Cuisinart DCC-3200, DCC-1200 or DCC-3400 owner, or anyone whose brewer takes a #4 paper cone.

5. Keurig My K-Cup Reusable Coffee Filter — Brand-Made Pod

Grey reusable K-Cup style coffee filter shown on a plain background

Made by Keurig and sold by Amazon.com, with one bullet and no list of brewers.

Key Specifications

Format K-Cup style pod filter
Machines named None
Exclusions named None
Size 2.53 in high; 2.49 x 2.39 in
Mesh material Not stated
BPA claim Not stated
Pack count 1
Dishwasher Not stated
Warranty Not stated
Part number 5000382705
Seller Amazon.com
Best Sellers Rank #3,263 overall; #2 in Permanent Filters

Why We Recommend It

This is Keurig’s own reusable filter, and its listing says almost nothing. The entire bullet list is one line: “BREW WITH GROUND COFFEE: Brew a single cup using your own favorite ground coffee”. There is no brewer list, no mesh material, no BPA claim, no dishwasher statement and no warranty. Of the ten listings on the page, it is the one with the least written down.

The brand is the compatibility claim, and it is not enough on its own. The title calls it “My K-Cup®”, and the brand and manufacturer fields both read Keurig. A reader can reasonably assume Keurig made it for Keurig brewers. But the listing does not say which ones, and the Perfect Pod listing beside it names thirteen Keurig models and points to a chart for more, which tells you that Keurig compatibility is a model-by-model question. If you are buying this for a particular brewer, confirm it on Keurig’s own documentation for your machine before you order.

It is larger than the Perfect Pod by its own figures. The spec table gives 2.53 inches high, 2.49 inches long and 2.39 inches wide, against Perfect Pod’s 1.79 inches high and 1.8 inches across. That is about 0.74 inches taller, by our arithmetic. The two are not the same shape of object, and the difference matters for the same reason it matters with baskets: a pod filter has to sit in your brewer’s holder, and the holder was made for a particular outline.

The model field reads like a barcode. It gives “611247405246”, a twelve-digit number rather than a model name, and the part number is “5000382705”. Neither appears anywhere else on the page. If you contact Keurig to confirm fit, the part number is the one to quote.

What to weigh. It is sold by Amazon.com, one of only two listings here with that seller, and ranks #3,263 overall and #2 in Permanent Filters, the second-best overall rank on the page. It sells one filter against Perfect Pod’s four. The case for it is the maker’s name; the case against it is that the listing makes no written promise of fit, material or care you could later point to.

Pros

  • Made by Keurig, stated
  • Sold by Amazon.com
  • Second-best overall rank here
  • Dimensions given
  • Part number given for checking with the maker
  • Brews your own ground coffee

Cons

  • No brewer named
  • Mesh material not stated
  • No BPA claim
  • Dishwasher use not stated
  • One bullet in total
  • One filter; no warranty stated

Best for: A Keurig owner who has confirmed from Keurig’s own documentation that the My K-Cup fits their brewer.

6. Cuisinart GTF Gold Tone Coffee Filter, 10-12 Cup — Only Gold-Tone Mesh

Gold-coloured mesh cone coffee filter shown on a plain background

The genuine Cuisinart cone, with gold-tone mesh and no list of machines.

Key Specifications

Format 10-12 cup cone
Machines named None; “Genuine Cuisinart Item”
Exclusions named None
Size 4.8 x 4.8 in; 3.7 in high
Mesh material “Permanent gold-tone filter”
BPA claim Not stated
Pack count 1
Dishwasher Not stated
Warranty Not stated
Model GTF
Seller Amazon.com
Best Sellers Rank #17,367 overall; #3 in Permanent Filters; #1,081 in Paper & Plastic

Why We Recommend It

This is the maker’s own cone, and the listing leaves the fit to the name. The bullets are four short lines: “Genuine Cuisinart Item”, “Permanent gold-tone filter”, “Helps provide full-flavored coffee” and “Cortado con láser”, which is Spanish for laser cut. The size field reads “10-12 Cup Cone”. No Cuisinart model is named anywhere.

That makes the two third-party cones the better-documented Cuisinart filters, on paper. GoldTone names twelve Cuisinart models and series and says it “replaces your Cuisinart Permanent Coffee Filter”; GoodCups names the DCC-3200, DCC-1200 and DCC-3400. Cuisinart, which made those machines, names none of them here. A reader who owns a Cuisinart drip brewer has the brand match and a cup count to go on, and nothing else. Since GoodCups describes the same three Cuisinart models as “10–14 cup” and Cuisinart describes this cone as 10-12 cup, the two listings do not even use the same range. Check your manual for the filter it specifies, and if it names the GTF, this is the part.

It is the only gold-tone mesh on the page. Six listings name stainless steel, including the one sold under the GoldTone brand, and three name no material. “Gold-tone” describes a colour and finish rather than a base metal, and the listing does not say what is underneath. The spec table’s colour field reads “Burr Mill”, which cannot describe a filter and looks like a field carried over from another Cuisinart product; we ignore it. The weight field gives a figure too low to describe the cone and frame, so we do not print it.

It is the largest cone by its stated outline. The spec table gives 4.8 by 4.8 inches and 3.7 inches high. Neither GoodCups nor GoldTone gives a single measurement, so this is the only cone on the page you can check against your brewer’s filter holder with a ruler. It makes no BPA claim and no dishwasher claim, so plan to rinse it by hand unless Cuisinart’s own manual says otherwise.

What to weigh. It is sold by Amazon.com and ranks #17,367 overall and #3 in Permanent Filters. No warranty is stated in the listing. Buy it if your Cuisinart’s manual calls for the GTF; if it calls for a #4 cone and your model is on the GoldTone or GoodCups list, either of those listings tells you more.

Pros

  • Genuine Cuisinart part, stated
  • Sold by Amazon.com
  • Only gold-tone mesh on the page
  • Outline given: 4.8 x 4.8 x 3.7 in
  • Laser-cut mesh, stated
  • #3 in Permanent Filters

Cons

  • No Cuisinart model named
  • Base metal under the gold tone not stated
  • No BPA claim
  • Dishwasher use not stated
  • Colour and weight fields unusable
  • No warranty stated

Best for: A Cuisinart owner whose manual specifies the GTF gold-tone filter.

7. Tronmei 4-6 Cup Mini Reusable Coffee Filter for Mr. Coffee Black+Decker — Best Mini Basket

Small gold mesh basket coffee filter with a black plastic rim and a fold-out handle

The only mini basket on the page, and it tells you in capitals what it does not fit.

Key Specifications

Format 4-6 cup mini basket
Machines named Mr. Coffee, Black+Decker, Proctor Silex, Walmart Mainstays
Exclusions named “Not 8-12 Cup”
Size 3.5 in top; 2.9 in bottom; 2.0 in high
Mesh material Food-grade 304 stainless steel
BPA claim BPA-free plastic frame; “BPA-free 304 stainless steel mesh”
Pack count 1
Dishwasher Top rack, stated
Warranty Not stated
Model CFLW240709
Seller Tronmei
Best Sellers Rank #16,170 overall; #26 in Reusable Filters

Why We Recommend It

This is the one filter on the page for a small brewer, and its first bullet makes sure you know it. “Compatible with 4-6 Cup Machines Only (Not 8-12 Cup)”, it opens, and ends: “Verify your machine uses a 4-6 cup basket filter before purchase”. A warning that blunt is more useful than a long list of compatible brands, because it tells you the one mistake the seller expects buyers to make.

The brands are broad, the size is the real filter. The listing names Mr. Coffee and Black+Decker in the title, and Proctor Silex and “Walmart Mainstays” in the first bullet, with “and more”. No model numbers. In practice the cup count and the dimensions do the work: “3.5 inches (Top Diameter) | 2.9 inches (Bottom Diameter) | 2.0 inches (Height)”. Only the two Tronmei listings give a top and bottom diameter, which is the pair of figures you need to check a tapered basket against the holder in your machine.

It does not share a model with its larger sibling. Tronmei sells an 8-12 cup version on this page too. The model numbers differ, CFLW240709 here and CFLW240301 there, and so do the sizes: this one is 1.0 inch narrower at the top and 0.5 inches shorter, by our arithmetic. They share a design language, a heat-resistant handle and the same material statement, but they are two products for two classes of machine, and each listing says it will not fit the other’s.

The material and care statements are among the fullest here. “Materials: Food-Grade 304 Stainless Steel (Mesh) + BPA-Free Plastic (Frame)”. The third bullet also calls the mesh “BPA-free 304 stainless steel”, which is a claim about the frame’s plastic doing double duty, since BPA is a plastics chemical rather than a property of steel. Care is “rinse with water or toss in the top rack of your dishwasher”, and the handle is “Heat-resistant” for “safe install/removal”.

What to weigh. It ranks #16,170 overall and #26 in Reusable Filters, the best-ranked basket on the page. No warranty is stated. For a 4-6 cup basket brewer, it is the only option here; for anything larger, the listing itself tells you to look elsewhere.

Pros

  • Only 4-6 cup basket on the page
  • Top diameter, bottom diameter and height stated
  • Food-grade 304 stainless mesh
  • BPA-free plastic frame, stated
  • Top-rack dishwasher safe; heat-resistant handle
  • Best-ranked basket here

Cons

  • Brands only; no model numbers
  • Will not fit 8-12 cup machines, stated
  • No warranty stated
  • One filter in the pack
  • Calls steel mesh BPA-free, which adds nothing
  • Colour field reads Gold/Black; finish not explained

Best for: An owner of a 4-6 cup basket-style brewer from Mr. Coffee, Black+Decker, Proctor Silex or a similar mini machine.

8. Tronmei 8-12 Cup Reusable Coffee Filter for Mr. Coffee Black+Decker — Best Sized 8-12 Basket

Gold mesh basket coffee filter with a black plastic rim and a fold-out side handle

The fullest size statement of any 8-12 cup basket here, without a single model number.

Key Specifications

Format 8-12 cup basket
Machines named Mr. Coffee, Black & Decker, Proctor Silex, “and many others”
Exclusions named “NOT 4-6 CUP”
Size 4.5 in top; 3.2 in base; 2.5 in high
Mesh material Food-grade 304 steel
BPA claim BPA-free plastic frame
Pack count 1
Dishwasher Top rack, stated
Warranty Not stated
Model CFLW240301
Seller Tronmei
Best Sellers Rank #29,619 overall; #73 in Reusable Filters; #1,936 in Paper & Plastic

Why We Recommend It

Of the three 8-12 cup baskets, this is the one that gives you the most numbers to check. The second bullet reads “Size: 4.5″ (Top) | 3.2″ (Base) | 2.5″ (Height)”. RUOYING gives a square outline and a height; the YEOSEN gives nothing. Only this listing tells you how much the basket tapers, which is the dimension a basket-style holder actually grips.

The fit statement is a size rule, not a model list. “FOR 8-12 CUP MACHINES ONLY (NOT 4-6 CUP)”, the first bullet says, then: “Perfectly fits most standard 8-12 cup basket-style brewers, including top brands like Mr. Coffee, Black & Decker, Proctor Silex, and many others. Verify your machine uses an 8-12 cup basket filter before purchase.” That is honest about its own limits. “Most standard” leaves room for machines it will not fit, and the listing names none. Compare RUOYING, which names nine Black & Decker model numbers, and the YEOSEN, which names one Hamilton Beach model to avoid.

It is the shorter of the two 8-12 baskets that give a height. 2.5 inches against 3.25 on the RUOYING. A shorter basket holds less grounds and water before it overflows, and a taller one may not clear a low lid, so neither is better in the abstract. The point is that two filters sold for the same class of machine differ by 0.75 inches in height, by our arithmetic, and only the model lists tell you which machines the makers had in mind.

The material statement matches its smaller sibling. “Food-Grade 304 Steel (Mesh) + BPA-Free Plastic (Frame)”, a heat-resistant handle, and “rinse or top-rack dishwasher safe”. It is a different model, CFLW240301 against the mini’s CFLW240709, and a different size, but the two listings are written from the same template. The waste claim, “8-12 cup users toss 600+ paper filters/year”, is the seller’s figure and is not sourced.

What to weigh. It ranks #29,619 overall and #73 in Reusable Filters. No warranty is stated. If your 8-12 cup brewer is a Black & Decker on RUOYING’s list, RUOYING makes the firmer promise. If it is a Mr. Coffee, a Proctor Silex or anything else, this is the 8-12 basket whose dimensions you can check most completely before you buy.

Pros

  • Top, base and height all stated
  • Food-grade 304 steel mesh
  • BPA-free plastic frame, stated
  • Top-rack dishwasher safe
  • Heat-resistant handle
  • States the size class it does not fit

Cons

  • No model numbers
  • “Most standard” machines only
  • Shortest 8-12 basket with a stated height
  • No warranty stated
  • One filter in the pack
  • Waste figure unsourced

Best for: An 8-12 cup basket owner without a model-number match elsewhere who wants to check taper and height first.

9. YEOSEN BCF-02 Stainless Steel Reusable Basket Filter, 8-12 Cup — Names a Misfit

Silver stainless steel mesh basket coffee filter with a flat base, shown on a plain background

The only listing on the page to name a machine it does not fit.

Key Specifications

Format 8-12 cup basket; size field “#4 Basket (8-12 Cup)”
Machines named Black and Decker, Mr. Coffee
Exclusions named Hamilton Beach Coffee Maker 46310
Size Not stated
Mesh material Food-grade 18/8 stainless steel
BPA claim Not stated
Pack count Not stated
Dishwasher Yes, stated
Warranty Not stated; customer service bullet only
Model BCF-02
Seller OKCafe
Best Sellers Rank #24,065 overall; #44 in Reusable Filters

Why We Recommend It

This listing tells you a machine to avoid, which none of the others do. Buried at the end of the first bullet, behind three red crosses: “Don’t fit for Hamilton Beach Coffee Maker46310”. That is a specific model number, 46310, from a brand no other listing on the page mentions. A shopper who owns that machine has a clear answer. Everyone else learns something too: the seller has heard of at least one 8-12 cup brewer this basket does not suit, which is a reminder that “8-12 cup” is a size family, not a standard.

The positive claim is brand-level. The fourth bullet, headed “UNIVERSAL APPLICABLE”, says “Compatible with most filter and fit for Black and Decker, Mr. Coffee Makers and Brewers”. No models. So the one firm compatibility fact on the listing is negative: the Hamilton Beach 46310 is out, and everything else rests on a brand name and a cup count.

It gives no dimensions at all. No height, no diameter, no outline. The size field reads “#4 Basket (8-12 Cup)”, which mixes two systems: #4 is normally a cone filter size, and this is a flat-bottomed basket. The two other 8-12 baskets on the page state heights of 2.5 and 3.25 inches, so the question is not academic. With no model list and no measurements, the only way to check this filter against your brewer is to ask the seller for its height and rim diameter.

The material claim is a grade. “Made of Food-grade, 18/8 stainless steel”, which is a recognised description of the steel’s chromium and nickel content, more specific than the “surgical” on the RUOYING and GoldTone listings. The third bullet says it “won’t rust” and adds “(Dishwasher safe)”. There is no BPA claim. The first bullet adds that the “fine mesh” stops “the coffee powder” from flowing out, a claim about grounds we cannot check.

What to weigh. It ranks #24,065 overall and #44 in Reusable Filters, sixth of ten. The fifth bullet, “CUSTOMER SERVICE”, says “please contact us, we will give you a satisfactory answer”, which is a promise to reply, not a warranty. Buy it for a Mr. Coffee or Black and Decker 8-12 cup basket machine once the seller has given you a height to compare.

Pros

  • Names a model it does not fit: Hamilton Beach 46310
  • Food-grade 18/8 stainless steel, stated
  • Dishwasher safe, stated
  • Says it will not rust
  • Mr. Coffee and Black and Decker named
  • Better rank than two of the other baskets

Cons

  • No dimensions at all
  • Brands only; no compatible models
  • Size field mixes #4 cone and basket terms
  • Pack count not stated
  • No BPA claim
  • Customer service bullet is not a warranty

Best for: A Mr. Coffee or Black and Decker 8-12 cup basket owner who has confirmed the height with the seller.

10. MagiDeal Permanent Basket-Style Coffee Filter for Mr. Coffee 10-12 Cup — Widest Basket

Gold and black basket-style coffee filter shown on a plain background

The widest basket on the page, sold on five copies of the same sentence.

Key Specifications

Format 10-12 cup basket
Machines named Mr. Coffee 10-12 cup basket-style coffeemakers
Exclusions named None
Size 5.1 x 4.7 in; 2.5 in high
Mesh material Not stated; colour field Gold/ Black
BPA claim Not stated
Pack count 1
Dishwasher Not stated
Warranty Not stated
Model Basket-style 10-12 Cup Coffee Filter (part BFSOLID)
Seller CHUANLU US
Best Sellers Rank #48,843 overall; #94 in Reusable Filters

Why We Recommend It

Every bullet on this listing is the same five words. “Permanent Basket-Style Coffee Filter”, five times over. Everything else you can learn comes from the title and the spec table. The title says “designed for Mr. Coffee 10-12 Cup Basket-Style Coffeemakers”, which makes it one of the four brand-only listings on the page, and the only one that names a single brand.

It is sold for 10-12 cups, not 8-12. Every other full-size basket here says 8-12. Whether the difference is real or a matter of how each seller counts cups, the listing does not say. What it does give is an outline: 5.1 by 4.7 inches and 2.5 inches high. That is the widest basket on the page, 0.6 inches longer than the RUOYING’s 4.5, by our arithmetic, and oval rather than round if the two figures are both right. The spec table’s size field reads only “4”, without saying four of what.

The material is not stated. The colour field reads “Gold/ Black”, which sounds like a gold-coloured mesh in a black frame, but a colour is not a material, and the listing never says stainless, gold-tone or anything else. It makes no BPA claim and no dishwasher claim. Of the ten listings, it is one of three that never say what the mesh is, and the only basket among them.

The names do not line up. The brand field reads MagiDeal, the manufacturer True Modern Electronics, and the seller CHUANLU US. The model field is a description, “Basket-style 10-12 Cup Coffee Filter”, and the part number is BFSOLID. None of that is wrong in itself, but it leaves no single name to contact about fit, and no warranty to contact anyone under.

What to weigh. It ranks #48,843 overall and #94 in Reusable Filters, the lowest rank on the page. Buy it only if you own a Mr. Coffee 10-12 cup basket machine and have measured its basket against the 5.1 by 4.7 inch outline. For any other machine, the listing gives you nothing to go on.

Pros

  • Mr. Coffee 10-12 cup named in the title
  • Full outline given: 5.1 x 4.7 x 2.5 in
  • Widest basket on the page
  • Basket style stated plainly
  • Part number given
  • In stock and the buy-box offer at capture

Cons

  • Five identical bullets
  • Mesh material not stated
  • No BPA or dishwasher claim
  • Brand, maker and seller all differ
  • Lowest rank on the page
  • No warranty stated

Best for: A Mr. Coffee 10-12 cup basket owner who has measured the basket and wants the widest filter here.

What Each Listing Says It Fits

Compatibility is the make-or-break for a reusable filter, and the listings answer it at four levels of precision: model names or numbers you can check, brand names with a cup count, the maker’s own name and nothing else, and exclusions. The table sets out every machine each listing names, in its own terms.

Filter Format Models named Brands named Exclusion stated
Perfect Pod K-Cup pod 13 Keurig brewers, plus a chart Keurig None
RUOYING 8-12 basket 9 Black & Decker numbers Black & Decker None
GoldTone No.4 cone 12 Cuisinart models and series Cuisinart (title) None
GoodCups #4 cone DCC-3200, DCC-1200, DCC-3400 Cuisinart, Ninja None
Keurig My K-Cup K-Cup pod None None beyond its own name None
Cuisinart GTF 10-12 cone None None beyond its own name None
Tronmei 4-6 4-6 basket None Mr. Coffee, Black+Decker, Proctor Silex, Walmart Mainstays 8-12 cup machines
Tronmei 8-12 8-12 basket None Mr. Coffee, Black & Decker, Proctor Silex 4-6 cup machines
YEOSEN BCF-02 8-12 basket None Black and Decker, Mr. Coffee Hamilton Beach 46310
MagiDeal 10-12 basket None Mr. Coffee None

Four listings give you something to check. Perfect Pod, GoldTone, RUOYING and GoodCups each name machines precisely enough that you can read the label on your brewer and get a yes. Between them they cover one Keurig family, one Black & Decker range and, across the two cones, a long run of Cuisinart models. If your brewer is on one of those lists, that listing is the safest buy on the page for your machine, whatever its rank.

Four give brands and a cup count. Mr. Coffee appears on all four, Black & Decker on three and Proctor Silex on two. A brand plus “8-12 cup” is a sensible first filter, but it is not a promise about your machine, and three of the four say “most” somewhere in the claim. The Tronmei pair at least give enough dimensions to measure against.

Two give the maker’s name and stop. Keurig and Cuisinart sell their own filters here with no brewer list at all. A maker’s part is a strong hint, but neither listing commits to a model, and Perfect Pod’s thirteen-model list shows that even within one brand, compatibility goes model by model. For these two, your brewer’s manual is the compatibility list.

Three tell you what not to buy them for. The YEOSEN names the Hamilton Beach 46310, the only specific misfit on the page. The Tronmei pair each rule out the other’s size class. These are the most useful warnings here, because they describe the mistakes the sellers expect, and they apply to every listing in the same class: if the BCF-02 does not suit one 8-12 cup Hamilton Beach, there is no reason to assume every other 8-12 basket suits every other 8-12 cup brewer.

One Brand Twice, and a Replacement That Out-Lists the Original

We compared model and part numbers across all ten to make sure no filter appears twice under different sellers. One brand does appear twice, and one cone is written as a replacement for another on the page.

Field Tronmei 4-6 Tronmei 8-12 Cuisinart GTF GoldTone No.4

Dishwasher Top rack Top rack Not stated Yes
Seller Tronmei Tronmei Amazon.com Teklectric(TM) Kitchen and Home
Rank overall #16,170 #29,619 #17,367 #25,997

The Tronmei pair are two different filters. Different model numbers, different sizes, and each listing says it will not fit the other’s machines. Same brand, same seller and the same material statement, but you would never buy one in place of the other. The small one is 1.0 inch narrower at the top and 0.5 inches shorter, by our arithmetic. Pick the one that matches your brewer’s cup class.

The GoldTone names the machines the Cuisinart does not. GoldTone’s title says it “replaces your Cuisinart Permanent Coffee Filter” and lists twelve Cuisinart models and series. Cuisinart’s own GTF lists none. The maker’s part gives a full outline and a gold-tone finish; the replacement gives stainless steel, a dishwasher claim and a model list, but no dimensions. And the names cross over: the filter sold under the GoldTone brand is stainless steel, and the one that is actually gold-tone is Cuisinart’s. Neither is a reason to buy; the model list is.

Three Shapes, and How the Sizes Compare

Reusable filters come in three shapes that are not interchangeable: pods for single-serve brewers, cones for brewers with a V-shaped holder, and flat-bottomed baskets for brewers with a round, straight-sided holder. Within each shape, the dimensions the listings print vary more than the cup counts suggest.

Filter Shape Cup class Stated size
Perfect Pod Pod Single serve 1.8 x 1.8 in; 1.79 in high
Keurig My K-Cup Pod Single serve 2.49 x 2.39 in; 2.53 in high
GoldTone Cone No.4 Not stated; “form fitting”
GoodCups Cone #4; Cuisinart 10–14 cup Not stated
Cuisinart GTF Cone 10-12 cup 4.8 x 4.8 in; 3.7 in high
Tronmei 4-6 Basket 4-6 cup 3.5 in top, 2.9 in bottom, 2.0 in high
Tronmei 8-12 Basket 8-12 cup 4.5 in top, 3.2 in base, 2.5 in high
RUOYING Basket 8-12 cup 4.5 x 4.5 in; 3.25 in high
YEOSEN BCF-02 Basket 8-12 cup Not stated
MagiDeal Basket 10-12 cup 5.1 x 4.7 in; 2.5 in high

Two 8-12 cup baskets differ by 0.75 inches in height. Of the three 8-12 baskets, two give a height: 2.5 inches on the Tronmei and 3.25 inches on the RUOYING. That is a difference of 0.75 inches, by our arithmetic, inside a single cup class, and the YEOSEN gives no height to compare. A basket that is too tall may stop the brew drawer closing or press against the showerhead; one that is too short holds fewer grounds before it overflows. The listings do not tell you which is right for your brewer, only which machines they were sized for.

Only the Tronmei pair give the taper. A basket filter is narrower at the base than at the rim, and the holder grips it somewhere along that slope. The Tronmei listings give both a top and a bottom diameter; the others give a square outline, which tells you the rim and nothing about the base. If you can measure your old paper filter or your machine’s holder, the Tronmei figures are the only ones on the page you can compare like for like.

The two pods differ by about 0.74 inches in height. By the listings’ own figures, Keurig’s My K-Cup is 2.53 inches high and each Perfect Pod 1.79 inches, our arithmetic. They are built for the same family of machines and are clearly not the same shape, which is another reason Perfect Pod’s model list is worth more than its rank.

The cones barely compare. GoodCups and GoldTone print no dimension at all, and Cuisinart prints a square outline for a round cone. GoldTone says its cone “will adjust from oblong to round” to suit the basket. The #4 designation and the brewer model are the real fit tests for a cone; for pour-over cones on a carafe rather than inside a machine, our pour over coffee maker guide goes further into filter shapes and sizes.

Mesh, BPA, Dishwasher and Pack Count

Once fit is settled, the remaining claims are about material and care. The listings make them unevenly, and the table counts only what each says in words.

Filter Mesh material BPA-free claim Dishwasher Filters in pack
Perfect Pod Not stated Yes, “100% BPA-free” Not stated 4
RUOYING Surgical stainless Not stated Yes 1
GoldTone Surgical grade stainless Not stated Yes 1
GoodCups Stainless (title); colour Gold Yes Yes 2
Keurig My K-Cup Not stated Not stated Not stated 1
Cuisinart GTF Gold-tone Not stated Not stated 1
Tronmei 4-6 304 stainless Yes, frame Top rack 1
Tronmei 8-12 304 steel Yes, frame Top rack 1
YEOSEN BCF-02 18/8 stainless Not stated Yes Not stated
MagiDeal Not stated Not stated Not stated 1

Six name stainless steel, one gold-tone, three nothing, and none nylon. The stainless six describe it four ways: 304 on the Tronmei pair, 18/8 on the YEOSEN, “surgical” on the RUOYING and GoldTone, and plain “stainless steel mesh” on the GoodCups. 304 and 18/8 are two common names for the same family of food-grade stainless; “surgical” is a marketing word without a grade. Cuisinart’s gold-tone is a finish over an unstated base. Perfect Pod, Keurig and MagiDeal never say what their mesh is. No listing on the page describes a nylon mesh, so a shopper who wants one will not find it here.

Four make a BPA-free claim. Perfect Pod, GoodCups and the two Tronmei listings. BPA is a plastics chemical, so the claim matters for the parts that are plastic: a pod body, a cone rim, a basket frame. Tronmei also calls its steel mesh BPA-free, which adds nothing. The six without a claim are not saying they contain BPA; they are not saying anything. If the plastic matters to you, it is a question for the seller.

Six say dishwasher safe. RUOYING, GoldTone, GoodCups, both Tronmei listings (top rack only) and the YEOSEN. The two pods, the Cuisinart cone and the MagiDeal say nothing. A filter you rinse daily will probably live in the sink either way, but a dishwasher claim is the one care statement you can hold a listing to.

Two sell more than one. Perfect Pod packs four and GoodCups two. Seven listings sell one filter, and the YEOSEN does not state a count. With a pod filter especially, a second or third pod lets one dry while another brews, which is why the four-pack matters more on a pod than on a basket.

A close view of dark roasted coffee beans
The two pod filters hold the two best ranks, and only one of them names a brewer.

The Warranty Nobody States

Not one of the ten listings states a warranty. No term, no lifetime promise, no satisfaction guarantee with a number of days. The YEOSEN comes closest, with a bullet headed “CUSTOMER SERVICE” that promises “a satisfactory answer”. That is an invitation to get in touch, not a warranty.

Durability claims stand in for it. RUOYING says “Designed for thousands of brewing cycles”. GoodCups says “Built for daily use without tearing, warping, or breaking”. YEOSEN says it “won’t rust”. Each is a description of how the product is meant to behave, and none comes with a remedy if it does not. For a filter, the likeliest failures are a torn mesh, a cracked plastic rim or a bent basket, and on this page you would be relying on the retailer’s return policy, not the maker.

What that means for buying. With no warranty to separate them, the deciding questions are the ones the listings do answer: does it name your brewer, is the size right, and is the mesh a stated grade of stainless. Keep the packaging until you have brewed with it, so that a filter that does not fit can go back.

Popularity Follows the Pods

Star ratings were not captured for this roundup, so the only popularity measure here is Amazon’s Best Sellers Rank, as returned on 5 October 2026. Ranks move constantly, and Amazon files these ten under Reusable Filters, Permanent Filters and Paper & Plastic, so category ranks are not comparable across all ten. Read the overall order.

Filter Overall rank Category rank Models named
Perfect Pod #499 #1 in Reusable Filters 13
Keurig My K-Cup #3,263 #2 in Permanent Filters None
GoodCups #8,154 #9 in Reusable Filters 3
Tronmei 4-6 #16,170 #26 in Reusable Filters None
Cuisinart GTF #17,367 #3 in Permanent Filters None
YEOSEN BCF-02 #24,065 #44 in Reusable Filters None
GoldTone #25,997 #50 in Reusable Filters 12
Tronmei 8-12 #29,619 #73 in Reusable Filters None
RUOYING #42,665 #86 in Reusable Filters 9
MagiDeal #48,843 #94 in Reusable Filters None

The two pod filters hold the two best ranks. Perfect Pod at #499 and Keurig at #3,263 sit well clear of every cone and basket, which fits the scale of single-serve brewing. The best-ranked listing names thirteen models and the second-best names none, so a precise compatibility list is not what drives the order.

The long model lists sit in the lower half. GoldTone, with twelve Cuisinart entries, is seventh of ten; RUOYING, the only basket that names model numbers, is ninth. The best-ranked basket, the Tronmei 4-6, names brands only. Rank tells you what sells; it does not tell you what fits your machine.

What the Step Up Buys

The bare listings — MagiDeal, Keurig, Cuisinart. A brand name or a maker’s part and very little else. The MagiDeal gives an outline and no material; the Keurig gives a part number and no brewer list; the Cuisinart gives a gold-tone mesh and a cup count. Each can be the right filter, but you have to bring the compatibility evidence yourself, from your brewer’s manual or a ruler.

The documented brand-fit baskets — Tronmei pair, YEOSEN. Stepping up buys a stated stainless grade, a dishwasher claim and, from the Tronmei pair, a BPA-free frame and a full taper measurement; from the YEOSEN, a named model to avoid. Fit is still at brand level, so the step buys better paperwork on the filter, not on your machine.

The model-named filters — Perfect Pod, GoldTone, RUOYING, GoodCups. The top step buys a list you can check. Perfect Pod adds a BPA claim and four pods; GoldTone adds surgical grade stainless, a dishwasher claim and US manufacture; RUOYING adds surgical stainless, a dishwasher claim and a full outline; GoodCups adds stainless, BPA and dishwasher together, with two cones. Within its own format, each is among the best-documented filters on the page.

What no step buys is a warranty. None of the ten states one, at any level. The step up is in information, not in cover.

Four listings here name models: Perfect Pod (thirteen Keurig brewers), GoldTone (twelve Cuisinart models and series), RUOYING (nine Black & Decker numbers) and GoodCups (three Cuisinart DCC models). If yours is on one of those lists, that listing commits to your machine in writing, which no brand-only listing does.

Match the Shape Before the Size

Pod, cone and basket do not substitute for each other. Look at your current paper filter or pod: a V-shaped paper means a cone, a flat-bottomed fluted paper means a basket, and a single-serve brewer with a needle means a pod. This page has two pods, three cones and five baskets.

Read the Exclusions as Carefully as the Fits

The YEOSEN BCF-02 says it does not fit the Hamilton Beach 46310. The Tronmei mini says not 8-12 cup, and the Tronmei 8-12 says not 4-6 cup. A stated misfit is the most reliable compatibility fact a listing can give, and it is a reminder that cup class alone is not a standard.

Compare the Height With Your Old Filter

Two 8-12 baskets here state heights of 2.5 and 3.25 inches, and the third gives none. Measure your machine’s basket holder or the paper filter it takes. Too tall and the drawer or lid may not close; too short and it holds fewer grounds before overflowing. Only the Tronmei pair give a top and a bottom diameter.

Look for a Stated Steel Grade

304 and 18/8 are named grades; “surgical” is a description; gold-tone is a finish; and three listings name no mesh material at all. A stated grade is the clearest material promise a listing makes, and the only one you can compare across sellers. Do not read a brand name as a material: the GoldTone filter is stainless.

Check the BPA and Dishwasher Claims Separately

Four listings make a BPA-free claim and six a dishwasher claim, and only GoodCups and the two Tronmei make both. The claims apply to different parts: BPA to the plastic rim or body, dishwasher to the whole filter. If either matters to you, buy a listing that says it.

Expect No Warranty and Keep the Box

None of the ten states one. Keep the packaging until you have brewed a full pot, so that a filter that fits poorly can go back under the retailer’s policy. A coarser grind through any metal mesh, and a scale to get the dose right, will do more for the cup than any claim on these pages; see our coffee scale guide.

Common Mistakes

  • Buying by brand instead of model. Four listings name only brands; Perfect Pod’s thirteen-model list shows fit varies within one brand.
  • Assuming every 8-12 cup basket fits every 8-12 cup brewer. The YEOSEN BCF-02 names the Hamilton Beach 46310 as a misfit.
  • Ignoring height. Two 8-12 baskets here state 2.5 and 3.25 inches, a 0.75 inch gap by our arithmetic; the third states none.
  • Reading a brand as a material. The GoldTone filter is surgical grade stainless; the gold-tone one is Cuisinart’s GTF.
  • Mixing up the Tronmei pair. CFLW240709 is for 4-6 cup machines and CFLW240301 for 8-12; each says it will not fit the other.
  • Reading a colour as a material. MagiDeal says Gold/ Black and never names its mesh; GoodCups says Gold in one field and stainless in the title.
  • Expecting a warranty. None of the ten states one; a customer service bullet is not cover.
  • Trusting the maker’s name alone. Keurig’s and Cuisinart’s own filters name no brewer model at all.

Who Should Buy Which

Buy the Perfect Pod Café Save if your Keurig is on its list. Thirteen Keurig brewers named by model, a 100% BPA-free claim, four pods and the best rank on the page. Accept that it does not name its mesh material or say whether it can go in a dishwasher.

Buy the RUOYING if your Black & Decker’s number is one of its nine. Surgical stainless, dishwasher safe and a full outline. Accept that it is the tallest basket here at 3.25 inches and names no other brand.

Buy the GoldTone No.4 cone if your Cuisinart is on its twelve-entry list. Surgical grade stainless, dishwasher safe and made in the USA, stated. Accept one filter, no dimensions and no BPA claim.

Buy the GoodCups if you own a Cuisinart DCC-3200, DCC-1200 or DCC-3400, or want two cones with a BPA claim. Stainless, BPA-free and dishwasher safe. Accept that it gives no dimensions and names Ninja without a model.

Buy the Keurig My K-Cup only after Keurig’s own documentation confirms it fits your brewer. It is sold by Amazon.com and ranks second here, but the listing names no machine, no material and no care instructions.

Buy the Cuisinart GTF if your Cuisinart manual calls for it. The genuine gold-tone part, 4.8 by 3.7 inches. Accept that the listing names no model and makes no dishwasher claim.

Buy the Tronmei 4-6 if you have a mini basket brewer. The only 4-6 cup filter here, with 304 stainless mesh, a BPA-free frame and a full taper measurement. It says plainly that it will not fit 8-12 cup machines.

Buy the Tronmei 8-12 if your 8-12 cup brewer is not on RUOYING’s list and you want to measure before you buy. Top, base and height all stated, 304 steel and top-rack dishwasher safe. Accept brand-level fit only.

Buy the YEOSEN BCF-02 if you own a Mr. Coffee or Black and Decker 8-12 cup brewer that is not the Hamilton Beach 46310. 18/8 stainless and dishwasher safe. Ask the seller for its height first, because the listing gives none.

Buy the MagiDeal only for a Mr. Coffee 10-12 cup basket machine you have measured. The widest basket here at 5.1 by 4.7 inches. Accept five identical bullets, no stated material and no care claims.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best reusable coffee filter?

It depends on your brewer, because compatibility decides everything else. For a Keurig, the Perfect Pod Café Save 4 Pack is the best-documented choice here: it names thirteen Keurig brewers by model, claims to be 100% BPA-free, puts four pods in the pack and holds the best Best Sellers Rank on the page, #1 in Reusable Filters. For a Black & Decker 8-12 cup basket machine, the RUOYING filter lists nine model numbers and states surgical stainless mesh and dishwasher safety. For a Cuisinart that takes a cone, the GoldTone No.4 names twelve Cuisinart models and series, and the GoodCups two-pack names three more specific DCC models with a BPA claim. If your brewer is not on any of those lists, use the brand-level baskets with stated dimensions, such as the Tronmei pair, and measure first. None of the ten listings states a warranty, so keep the packaging until you have brewed with it.

What is the best permanent coffee filter for a drip coffee maker?

Start with the shape your machine takes. If it uses flat-bottomed basket paper filters, five baskets here are candidates: the Tronmei 4-6 for mini brewers, three for 8-12 cup machines (RUOYING, Tronmei 8-12 and the YEOSEN BCF-02) and the MagiDeal for Mr. Coffee 10-12 cup machines. Of those, only RUOYING names model numbers, nine Black & Decker brewers. If your machine takes a cone, the GoldTone No.4 names twelve Cuisinart models and series, the GoodCups #4 names three, and Cuisinart’s own GTF is the 10-12 cup gold-tone part. Then check height: two 8-12 baskets here state 2.5 and 3.25 inches, and a basket that is too tall may stop the drawer closing. Six of the ten say stainless steel mesh, and six say dishwasher safe. Pick the one that names your machine, or failing that, the one whose dimensions match your old filter.

What is the best reusable K-Cup filter?

Two K-Cup style filters appear here. The Perfect Pod Café Save 4 Pack names thirteen Keurig brewers in its listing: K-Mini, K-Mini Plus, K-Duo Essentials, K-Duo Plus, K-Slim, K-Classic, K-Elite, K-Latte, K-Cafe, K-Select, K-Compact, and Keurig 1.0 and 2.0, and it points to a fuller compatibility chart. It claims to be 100% BPA-free and comes four to a pack. It does not name its mesh material or say whether it is dishwasher safe. Keurig’s own My K-Cup is sold by Amazon.com and ranks second on the page, but its listing has a single bullet and names no brewer, no material and no care instructions. By the listings’ figures, the My K-Cup is also about 0.74 inches taller, our arithmetic, so they are not the same shape. If your brewer is on Perfect Pod’s list, that is the stronger written promise; otherwise, check Keurig’s documentation.

What is the best cone coffee filter that is reusable?

Three cones appear on this page, all aimed at Cuisinart brewers. The GoldTone No.4 cone names twelve Cuisinart models and series, from the DCC-1000BK to the CHW-12, and states surgical grade stainless steel, dishwasher safety and US manufacture; it gives no dimensions and sells one filter. The GoodCups #4 cones come two to a pack and name the DCC-3200, DCC-1200 and DCC-3400, plus Ninja coffee makers without a model; they are the only cones with a BPA claim. The Cuisinart GTF is the maker’s own 10-12 cup gold-tone cone, 4.8 by 4.8 inches and 3.7 inches high, but it names no model and makes no dishwasher or BPA claim. Find your model number and buy the cone whose list includes it. If your manual names the GTF, buy the GTF. For a pour-over cone on a carafe, a dedicated dripper is often simpler.

How do I know if a reusable coffee filter will fit my machine?

Find your brewer’s model number on the label, usually underneath or inside the reservoir lid, and look for it in the listing. Only four listings here name models: Perfect Pod for thirteen Keurig brewers, GoldTone for twelve Cuisinart models and series, RUOYING for nine Black & Decker numbers, and GoodCups for three Cuisinart DCC models. If the listing names only a brand and a cup count, measure your current paper filter or the holder in your machine and compare it with the listing’s dimensions; the Tronmei listings give top diameter, bottom diameter and height, the fullest set on the page. Then read the exclusions. The YEOSEN BCF-02 says it does not fit the Hamilton Beach 46310, and the Tronmei pair each rule out the other’s cup class. A stated misfit is the most reliable compatibility fact a listing gives. Keep the packaging until you have brewed with the filter, since none of these listings states a warranty.

Is stainless steel or gold-tone better for a reusable coffee filter?

Both are metal meshes that let coffee oils and some fine particles through, which is the main difference from paper. Six listings here name stainless steel, in four ways: 304 on the two Tronmei filters, 18/8 on the YEOSEN BCF-02, surgical on the RUOYING and the GoldTone, and plain stainless steel mesh on the GoodCups. 304 and 18/8 are common names for the same food-grade family. Gold-tone, on the Cuisinart GTF, is a colour and finish; the listing does not say what metal lies underneath. Despite its name, the GoldTone brand filter is stainless. Three listings, Perfect Pod, Keurig and MagiDeal, never name their mesh material, and no listing here describes a nylon mesh. On the evidence of these pages, a named stainless grade is the clearest material promise you can get. Fit still comes first: the right shape in an unnamed mesh will brew, and the wrong size in 304 steel will not.

Are reusable coffee filters dishwasher safe and BPA-free?

Some say so and some are silent. Six of the ten listings here make a dishwasher claim: RUOYING, GoldTone, GoodCups, the YEOSEN BCF-02, and both Tronmei filters, which specify the top rack. The two K-Cup pods, the Cuisinart GTF and the MagiDeal say nothing about dishwashers. Four make a BPA-free claim: Perfect Pod, GoodCups and the two Tronmei filters, the last two for their plastic frames. BPA is a plastics chemical, so the claim matters for the plastic parts, such as a pod body or a basket rim; a steel mesh does not contain it. Only GoodCups and the Tronmei pair make both claims. A listing that does not mention BPA or the dishwasher is not saying the opposite; it is simply not committing. If either matters to you, buy a listing that states it, or ask the seller before you order.

Do reusable coffee filters come with a warranty?

Not on this page. None of the ten listings states a warranty of any kind: no term, no lifetime promise and no money-back period. The nearest thing is on the YEOSEN BCF-02 listing, which carries a customer service bullet promising a satisfactory answer if you contact the seller. That is an invitation to make contact, not a warranty. Several listings make durability claims instead. RUOYING says it is designed for thousands of brewing cycles, GoodCups says it is built for daily use without tearing, warping or breaking, and YEOSEN says it will not rust. None of those comes with a remedy if it proves untrue. In practice, your cover is the retailer’s return policy, so keep the packaging until you have brewed with the filter and confirmed it fits. Given that, choose on the things the listings do state: a named model, a size that matches your machine and a stated stainless grade.

Final Verdict

Best K-Cup FilterPerfect Pod Café Save, 4 Pack

Thirteen Keurig brewers named, 100% BPA-free stated, four pods and the #1 rank in Reusable Filters.

Best Basket FilterRUOYING Black & Decker 8-12 Cup

Nine Black & Decker model numbers, surgical stainless steel and a dishwasher-safe claim.

Best Cone FilterGoldTone No.4 Cone for Cuisinart

Twelve Cuisinart models and series named, surgical grade stainless, dishwasher safe and made in the USA.

Ten reusable coffee filters, and only four tell you which machines they fit by name. Perfect Pod lists thirteen Keurig brewers, GoldTone twelve Cuisinart models and series, RUOYING nine Black & Decker model numbers and GoodCups three Cuisinart models. Four give brands and a cup count. Two, from Keurig and Cuisinart themselves, give neither. On a product whose whole value depends on fitting one machine, that is the gap that matters most.

The warnings are worth as much as the lists. The YEOSEN BCF-02 is the one listing that names a machine it does not fit, the Hamilton Beach 46310. The Tronmei pair, two different models, each rule out the other’s cup class. And the two 8-12 cup baskets with a stated height are 2.5 and 3.25 inches tall, which shows that a cup class is a family, not a standard.

The rest of the paperwork is uneven, and the warranty is absent. Six listings name stainless steel, one gold-tone and three no material. Four claim BPA-free, six dishwasher safe, two sell more than one filter, and none of the ten states a warranty. So buy on the things a listing commits to: your model on its list, a size that matches your old filter, and a stated grade of steel.

If you own a Keurig on its list, buy the Perfect Pod Café Save 4 Pack: the longest model list on the page, a BPA-free claim, four pods and the best rank here. For a Black & Decker 8-12 cup brewer, the RUOYING lists nine model numbers; for a Cuisinart that takes a cone, the GoldTone No.4 names twelve models and series, and the GoodCups two-pack covers the DCC-3200 and DCC-3400. Whatever you buy, match your model number first and keep the box until it has brewed a full pot. For the rest of the pour, see our gooseneck kettle roundup and our coffee canister roundup.
