Every fridge on this page is sold with the word freezer in its title. That word covers two very different things. One is a freezer with its own door, a separate insulated box that can be held well below the fridge section. The other is a small compartment inside a single-door fridge, usually a metal box with a flap, cooled by the same air as the milk and the drinks. Both get called a mini fridge with freezer, and the titles rarely tell you which you are looking at.
The number that separates them is the freezer temperature. Frozen food is normally stored at 0°F (-18°C) or colder; that is the standard food-safety figure for a home freezer. A freezer that can hold it will keep ice cream firm and meat frozen for weeks. A compartment that sits a few degrees below freezing will make ice slowly and keep a bag of peas cold, and not much else.
Read the ten listings for that number and the page splits three ways. Five print a freezer temperature, and every one of them goes below zero on the Fahrenheit scale: DEMULLER says “freezer ranges from -0.4°F”, Feelfunn “below -4°F”, EUHOMY “as low as -7.6°F”, Midea “-11.2℉ to 5℉” and Frostorm “-14°C to -24°C”. Four print no freezer temperature at all: the Igloo, the Manastin and both Frigidaires. And one, the Upstreman, gives only a fridge range of 32°F to 50°F and then says, in brackets, “Not suitable for storing ice cream and ice cubes”.
Doors line up with that split, though not perfectly. Five listings say two doors in words. Three of those five print a freezer temperature. Two listings say single door in their titles, and two more describe an interior freezer compartment. Of those four, one prints a temperature, one rules out ice cream and two say nothing. The Midea never says how many doors it has, and it prints the coldest and widest freezer range on the page.
Even the printed numbers need reading. Frostorm gives its range in Celsius and Fahrenheit, and the two do not match: -14°C is about 6.8°F by our arithmetic, not the -6°F the listing prints beside it. DEMULLER says its cabinet is 45 litres and also says it holds 0.8 cu ft of freezer plus 1.6 cu ft of fridge; those two figures add to 2.4 cu ft, about 68 litres by our arithmetic. Only five listings state how much of the cabinet is freezer, and the share runs from about 9% on the Upstreman to about 33% on the DEMULLER, again our arithmetic.
So this guide sorts the ten by what each listing commits to about its freezer: whether it has its own door, what temperature it prints, and how much of the box it takes. We set the conflicts and silences out in full, because on a mini fridge with freezer the silence is usually the answer. Star ratings and review counts were not captured for this roundup; popularity below is Amazon’s Best Sellers Rank only.
All ten were captured on 5 October 2026. Their overall Best Sellers Ranks run from #18 to #18,785, and the two best-selling listings, the Frostorm and the DEMULLER, are both filed by Amazon outside Compact Refrigerators.

Read the first two columns together: a separate door and a printed temperature at or below 0°F are what make a freezer, and the split column shows how much of the box you actually get.

Best Sellers Ranks and specifications are taken from each manufacturer’s Amazon listing as displayed on 5 October 2026 through a United States connection, and may change. Temperatures are quoted as each listing prints them. Celsius and Fahrenheit conversions marked “ours” elsewhere on the page are our arithmetic. Frostorm prints -14°C to -24°C and, beside it, -6°F to -11°F; -14°C is about 6.8°F, so the two do not agree at the warm end. DEMULLER says its freezer “ranges from -0.4°F” without saying whether that is the coldest or warmest setting. The Frostorm split gives only the freezer share of a 3.2 cu ft total. The Midea listing does not state its door count. DEMULLER states a 45L total that does not match its own 0.8 plus 1.6 cu ft split. Ranks are overall Best Sellers Ranks as returned on 5 October 2026. Five fridges were sold by Amazon.com at capture; the EUHOMY and the Frigidaire 7.5 cu ft were flagged as scarce stock. Star ratings and review counts were not captured for any product here.

How We Chose These Ten
We researched current listings, compared manufacturer specifications and documentation, and read each listing’s claims about its freezer, its cabinet and its temperatures line by line. We did not carry out hands-on testing, and nothing below is presented as measured performance data. Star ratings and review counts were not captured for this roundup. We used Amazon Best Sellers Rank, buy-box stock and listing specifications instead, and nothing on this page describes or implies how owners have scored these fridges.
- Fridges sold with a freezer — every product here is a compact or apartment-size refrigerator whose listing names a freezer or freezer compartment. Standalone freezers, beverage coolers and thermoelectric coolers were not in the running.
- New units only — every buy box here was a new product at capture.
- Door count from the listing’s own words — “2 door”, “double-door” and “single door” were recorded where printed. Where a listing describes a compartment inside one door, we say so. Where it says neither, we mark the door count not stated, even where the photos may suggest an answer.
- Freezer temperature exactly as printed — in the unit the listing uses. Where a listing prints both Celsius and Fahrenheit, we checked one against the other. Every conversion on this page is our arithmetic and is labelled as such.
- Volume split as printed — freezer and fridge capacities are quoted from the listing. Freezer shares as a percentage of the cabinet, and litre conversions, are our arithmetic.
- Conflicts reported, not resolved — where two fields on one listing disagree, such as a capacity in litres against a capacity in cubic feet, or a bullet against a spec table, we report both.
- Popularity from Best Sellers Rank only — ranks are quoted exactly as returned on 5 October 2026, overall and in the category Amazon assigned. Amazon files these ten in three different categories, so the overall rank is the fairer comparison.
- Verified stock and seller — each product was the buy-box offer and in stock on amazon.com on 5 October 2026. The EUHOMY and the Frigidaire 7.5 cu ft were flagged as scarce stock at capture.

The Ten Mini Fridges With Freezers in Detail
1. Feelfunn 2.5 Cu.Ft Mini Fridge with Freezer, 2 Door Dorm Fridge, Silver — Best Overall

The one listing that states the door, the split and the freezer temperature, and contradicts itself nowhere.
Key Specifications
| Freezer door | Two doors, stated in title |
|---|---|
| Freezer temperature | Below -4°F, stated |
| Fridge temperature | 32°F–41°F, stated |
| Capacity split | 0.65 cu ft freezer; 1.85 cu ft fridge; 2.5 cu ft total |
| Thermostat | 3 levels |
| Energy | 0.96 kWh per day, stated |
| Noise | ≤38 dB, stated |
| Size | 32.5 in high; 17.1 x 16.4 in footprint (1.95 sq ft stated) |
| Weight | 37.4 pounds |
| Extras | LED light, ice tray, ice shovel, reversible door |
| Warranty | 1 Year |
| Best Sellers Rank | #13,103 overall; #29 in Compact Refrigerators |
Why We Recommend It
This is the cleanest freezer listing on the page. The title says “2 Door Dorm Fridge”. The first bullet gives the split: “1.85 Cu.Ft refrigerator for beverages, fruits, and veggies, and 0.65 Cu.Ft freezer for ice cream and frozen meat.” The second gives the temperatures: “maintaining 32°F-41°F in the fridge and below -4°F in the freezer”. 1.85 plus 0.65 is 2.5, the capacity in the title. Of the ten listings, only this one and the DEMULLER state all three things in words, and the DEMULLER’s capacity figures disagree with each other. The Feelfunn’s do not.
Below -4°F is a real freezer figure. It is about -20°C by our arithmetic, four degrees colder than the 0°F food-safety standard for a home freezer. The listing names ice cream and frozen meat as what the freezer is for, and that is a claim the stated temperature can back. Compare the Upstreman, a single-door fridge with an interior compartment, which says plainly that it is not suitable for ice cream at all. The difference is the second door: the Feelfunn’s freezer is its own insulated box, and the listing gives it its own number.
The fridge range is the tightest on the page. Every other listing that gives a fridge range says 32°F to 50°F. The Feelfunn says 32°F to 41°F. Fresh food is normally kept at 40°F or below, so a range that tops out at 41°F has very little room to run warm, while a 50°F top setting is better suited to drinks than to milk and leftovers. It does mean the warmest setting is still cold, which is worth knowing if you want a fridge for cans that you do not want near freezing.
The freezer share is about 26% of the cabinet. 0.65 of 2.5 cu ft, by our arithmetic. That puts it in the same band as the Midea, about 30%, and well ahead of the single-door units that state a freezer size: the Frostorm at about 11% and the Upstreman at about 9%. In absolute terms 0.65 cu ft is the third-largest stated freezer here, behind the Midea’s 0.92 and the DEMULLER’s 0.8. It will hold a few frozen meals, a tub of ice cream and the included ice tray, not a week’s shopping.
The rest of the listing is specific too. It gives “only 0.96 kWh per day”, about 350 kWh a year by our arithmetic, and “≤38 dB”. The footprint is stated as “1.95 sq.ft”, which matches 17.1 by 16.4 inches, our arithmetic. It has an LED light, removable glass shelves, a reversible door and, unusually, an ice shovel for defrosting, which tells you the freezer is manual defrost. A note asks you to stand the fridge upright for 6–12 hours after delivery before plugging it in.
What to weigh. It is sold by Feelfunn, not Amazon.com, and ranks #13,103 overall and #29 in Compact Refrigerators, so it sells less than most of the page. The cabinet is the smallest of the two-door units, 2.5 cu ft, and the thermostat has only 3 levels. Its model number, CRF006-25, shares a prefix with the EUHOMY’s CRF006-31; neither listing says what that means. If what you want is a freezer that states its temperature and a listing that agrees with itself, this is the one.
Pros
- Two doors stated in the title
- Freezer stated below -4°F
- Split stated: 0.65 / 1.85 cu ft, adding to 2.5
- Fridge range 32–41°F, the tightest here
- 0.96 kWh/day and ≤38 dB stated
- Ice tray and LED light included
Cons
- Smallest two-door cabinet on the page
- Only 3 thermostat levels
- Manual defrost implied by the ice shovel
- Sold by the brand, not Amazon.com
- Rank #13,103 overall, low on this page
- 1 year warranty only
Best for: A dorm or bedroom buyer who wants a real freezer for ice cream and frozen meals in a small two-door box.
2. Midea 3.1 Cu.ft Mini Fridge with Freezer, Energy Star Certified, WHD-113FSS1 — Most Freezer Space

The biggest and coldest freezer stated on the page, from a listing that never says how many doors it has.
Key Specifications
| Freezer door | Not stated; bullet refers to “a door” |
|---|---|
| Freezer temperature | -11.2℉ to 5℉ (-24℃ to -15℃), stated |
| Fridge temperature | 32℉–50℉ (1℃–10℃), stated |
| Capacity split | 0.92 cu ft freezer; 2.16 cu ft fridge; 3.1 cu ft total |
| Thermostat | Mechanical “thermostats”, plural |
| Energy | 270 kWh per year; Energy Star stated |
| Size | 18.5 x 19.37 x 32.95 in (W x D x H) |
| Weight | 52.24 pounds |
| Extras | LED light, crisper drawer, 2L bottle rack, reversible door |
| Warranty | Full 1-Year / Compressor 2-Year |
| Seller | Amazon.com |
| Best Sellers Rank | #9,826 overall; #20 in Compact Refrigerators |
Why We Recommend It
No listing here states more freezer. The first bullet reads “3.1 cu.ft capacity (Freezer 0.92 cu.ft, fridge 2.16 cu.ft)”. 0.92 cu ft is the largest freezer volume printed on the page, ahead of the DEMULLER’s 0.8 and the Feelfunn’s 0.65, and about 30% of the cabinet by our arithmetic. The two figures add to 3.08 cu ft, which rounds to the 3.1 in the title; that is a rounding difference, not a conflict.
It also states the coldest and most complete range. “-11.2℉ to 5℉(-24℃ to -15℃) for the freezer part”, with the fridge at “32℉-50.0℉(1℃-10℃)”. Unlike the Frostorm, its Celsius and Fahrenheit figures agree: -24°C is -11.2°F and -15°C is 5°F, by our arithmetic. It is also the only listing that gives both ends of the freezer range, so you know the warmest setting, 5°F, sits above the 0°F standard and the colder settings sit well below it. Set it towards the cold end if the freezer is for long storage.
The door count is the gap. The title does not say two doors and no bullet does either. The reversible-door bullet says “a door that can open to the left or right”, singular. Against that, the listing describes adjustable “thermostats”, plural, a freezer about a third the size of the fridge section, and a freezer range of its own, which is how separate-zone units are usually described. We cannot tell you from the listing which it is. If a separate freezer door is the reason you are buying, check the photographs or ask the seller before you order.
The efficiency figure is a stated yearly number. “only 270Kwh/Y energy consumption” with an R600a compressor and Energy Star certification. That is about 0.74 kWh a day, by our arithmetic, between the Frostorm’s 0.6 and the Feelfunn’s 0.96. The listing also mentions a “Multi-air flow system” for more even fridge temperatures, an LED light, a crisper drawer and a rack for 2L bottles.
It is the heaviest of the 3 cu ft class. 52.24 pounds, against 37.4 for the Feelfunn and 45.0 for the EUHOMY. The cabinet is 18.5 by 19.37 by 32.95 inches. The spec table labels 18.5 as length and 19.37 as width, the reverse of the bullet’s width-by-depth order; plan for 19.37 inches in both directions if the space is tight. The listing suggests a garage among its uses; it does not state an ambient operating range, so in a garage that gets cold in winter, ask before relying on it.
What to weigh. It is sold by Amazon.com, ranks #9,826 overall and #20 in Compact Refrigerators, and carries a “Full 1-Year / Compressor 2-Year Warranty”, the second-longest cover here after the Manastin. It is among the more expensive compacts on the page. For the most freezer and the most complete temperature statement, nothing here beats it; just confirm the door before you buy.
Pros
- 0.92 cu ft freezer, the largest stated here
- Freezer range -11.2 to 5°F, both ends stated
- Celsius and Fahrenheit figures agree
- Energy Star; 270 kWh/year stated
- Compressor covered 2 years
- Sold by Amazon.com
Cons
- Door count never stated
- Warmest freezer setting is above 0°F
- 52.24 lb, the heaviest compact here
- Spec table swaps width and depth
- No ambient range for garage use
- Fridge top setting 50°F
Best for: A buyer who wants the most freezer space and the most complete temperature statement, and will confirm the door count first.
3. DEMULLER 45L Personal Double-Door Mini Fridge With Freezer, Black — Best Value

A separate top freezer and the second-best rank on the page, with capacity figures that do not add up.
Key Specifications
| Freezer door | Double door; separate top freezer, stated |
|---|---|
| Freezer temperature | “Ranges from -0.4°F” |
| Fridge temperature | 32°F–50°F, stated |
| Capacity split | 0.8 cu ft freezer; 1.6 cu ft fridge |
| Total capacity | 45L stated (about 1.59 cu ft, our arithmetic) |
| Thermostat | 7 levels, manual knob |
| Noise | 38 dB, stated |
| Size | 14.9 x 14.6 x 30.8 in |
| Weight | 27.0 pounds |
| Defrost | Manual, stated |
| Seller | DEYADEHAO |
| Best Sellers Rank | #31 overall; #1 in Standard Refrigerators |
Why We Recommend It
This is the narrowest two-door fridge here, and one of the best sellers on Amazon. It ranks #31 overall and #1 in Standard Refrigerators, second on the page only to the Frostorm. The first bullet describes “separate top freezer and bottom fridge” in a cabinet 14.9 by 14.6 by 30.8 inches, a footprint of about 1.5 sq ft by our arithmetic, the smallest on the page. At 27.0 pounds it is also the lightest fridge here by almost ten pounds.
The freezer figure is real but ambiguous. The second bullet says “freezer ranges from -0.4 °F for frozen goods”. -0.4°F is exactly -18°C by our arithmetic, the metric version of the 0°F freezer standard, which suggests the figure began life as a Celsius spec. What the listing does not say is whether -0.4°F is the coldest the freezer gets or the warmest. Read as the coldest setting, it only just reaches the standard. Read as a range starting there and going colder, it is comfortable. Either way it is a printed sub-zero number, which four listings on this page never give.
The capacity does not add up. The title and spec table say 45L. The first bullet says “45L total capacity (0.8 Cu.Ft freezer + 1.6 Cu.Ft refrigerator)”. 45 litres is about 1.59 cu ft. 0.8 plus 1.6 is 2.4 cu ft, about 68 litres. Both are our arithmetic, and both cannot be right. Interestingly, 1.6 cu ft is almost exactly 45 litres, so one plausible reading is that the fridge section alone is 45L; the listing does not say so. Plan on the smaller figure, and treat the 0.8 cu ft freezer with some caution.
On the stated split, it has the biggest freezer share here. 0.8 of 2.4 cu ft is about 33%, our arithmetic, a larger share than the Midea’s 30% or the Feelfunn’s 26%. A top freezer that takes a third of the box suits a buyer who wants frozen meals and ice cream more than shelf space for drinks. If the true total is nearer 45 litres, the freezer is smaller than 0.8 cu ft, but the share argument still holds.
The controls are finer than the rest of its class. A “7-Level Adjustable Thermostat” on a manual knob, matched only by the Manastin. It runs at a stated 38 dB, has two removable shelves and adjustable levelling legs, and is “manual defrost”, which is normal for a freezer this size: expect to switch it off and clear the ice every so often. Energy use is described as “low energy consumption” with no figure.
What to weigh. It is sold by DEYADEHAO rather than Amazon.com or the brand, with a 1 year warranty. It is one of the lowest-priced fridges on the page. For a separate freezer door in the smallest footprint, at the best rank of any two-door unit here, it is the value pick, as long as you buy it for the freezer it states rather than the capacity it claims.
Pros
- Separate top freezer door, stated
- Freezer figure -0.4°F (-18°C, ours)
- Biggest stated freezer share, about 33% (ours)
- #31 overall, best two-door rank here
- 7-level thermostat; 38 dB stated
- Smallest footprint and lightest at 27.0 lb
Cons
- 45L total conflicts with 2.4 cu ft split
- Unclear if -0.4°F is the coldest or warmest setting
- No energy figure
- Manual defrost
- Sold by a third party, DEYADEHAO
- Fridge top setting 50°F
Best for: A single person in a dorm or bedroom who wants a separate freezer door in the smallest possible footprint.
4. EUHOMY 3.2 Cu.Ft Mini Fridge with Freezer, 2 Door Mini Refrigerator, Black — Best Two-Door Runner-Up

Two doors and a firm -7.6°F, but no word on how much of the 3.2 cu ft is freezer.
Key Specifications
| Freezer door | Two doors, stated in title |
|---|---|
| Freezer temperature | As low as -7.6°F, stated |
| Fridge temperature | 32–50°F, stated |
| Capacity split | Not stated; 3.2 cu ft total |
| Thermostat | 3 levels |
| Energy | 0.98 kWh per day, stated |
| Noise | 40 dB, stated |
| Size | 18.9 x 18.1 x 33.5 in (bullet); 33.1 in high, 19.7 in long (spec table) |
| Weight | 45.0 pounds |
| Stock | Scarce at capture |
| Seller | Amazon.com |
| Best Sellers Rank | #10,019 overall; #22 in Compact Refrigerators |
Why We Recommend It
The EUHOMY gets the two things that matter most in writing. The title says “2 Door Mini Refrigerator”, and the second bullet says “The freezer reaches as low as -7.6°F, keeping frozen foods solid”. -7.6°F is -22°C by our arithmetic, nearly eight degrees colder than the 0°F standard. The first bullet says the cabinet combines “a refrigerator and separate freezer” for “frozen meals, and ice cream”, and here too the temperature backs the claim.
“As low as” is a ceiling on the cold, not a guarantee. The figure is the coldest the freezer reaches, presumably on the coldest of the “3 cooling levels”. The listing does not say what the freezer holds on the middle or warm setting. With only three levels and one figure, the practical advice is to run it on the coldest setting if the freezer is the point and accept that the fridge section will run colder too, since the listing does not describe separate controls.
The split is the missing number. Nowhere does the listing say how much of the 3.2 cu ft is freezer. The Feelfunn, the Midea and the DEMULLER all state theirs, and the share on those three runs from about 26% to about 33%, by our arithmetic. Without a figure for the EUHOMY you cannot compare its freezer with theirs, or know whether a tub of ice cream and a few frozen meals will fit. Ask the seller, or measure from the photographs, before you rely on it.
The dimensions disagree slightly. The bullet says “18.9 × 18.1 × 33.5 in”. The spec table says 33.1 inches high, 18.9 wide and 19.7 long. The likeliest reading is that one figure includes the door handle or hinges, but the listing does not say. Plan for 33.5 inches of height and 19.7 inches of depth, the larger figures, and leave room behind for the condenser to breathe.
The running figures are stated. “Operating at just 40 dB”, two decibels more than the DEMULLER and Upstreman claim, and “0.98 kWh per day”, about 358 kWh a year by our arithmetic, the highest stated consumption on the page. It is 45.0 pounds and has a reversible door. The listing mentions “high-quality insulation” without a thickness.
What to weigh. It is sold by Amazon.com, ranks #10,019 overall and #22 in Compact Refrigerators, and was flagged as scarce stock at capture, so availability may change. Its model, CRF006-31, shares a prefix with the Feelfunn’s CRF006-25. If you want a larger cabinet than the Feelfunn with a separate freezer and a stated sub-zero figure, this is the alternative; just get the freezer volume first.
Pros
- Two doors stated in the title
- Freezer stated as low as -7.6°F
- Sold by Amazon.com
- 3.2 cu ft cabinet
- 0.98 kWh/day and 40 dB stated
- Reversible door
Cons
- Freezer volume not stated
- Only 3 cooling levels; one temperature figure
- Bullet and spec table disagree on height and depth
- Highest stated energy use here
- Scarce stock at capture
- Fridge top setting 50°F
Best for: A buyer who wants a separate freezer with a stated sub-zero figure in a full 3.2 cu ft cabinet.
5. Manastin 3.6 Cu.Ft Refrigerator with Freezer for Kitchen Office, Black — Longest Warranty

Two doors, a promise of frozen ice cream and a 3-year warranty, but no freezer temperature.
Key Specifications
| Freezer door | Two doors, “true separate fridge and freezer compartments” |
|---|---|
| Freezer temperature | Not stated |
| Fridge temperature | Not stated |
| Capacity split | Not stated; 3.6 cu ft total |
| Thermostat | 7 levels |
| Noise | “Whisper-quiet”; no figure |
| Size | 32.8 in high; 19.3 x 17.7 in |
| Weight | 40.79 pounds |
| Setup | Stand upright 6 hours before plugging in |
| Warranty | 3 Year |
| Seller | Manastin Direct |
| Best Sellers Rank | #7,986 overall; #14 in Compact Refrigerators |
Why We Recommend It
The Manastin makes the strongest freezer promise on the page without a number to back it. The first bullet reads “[3.6 CU.FT. & 2-DOOR DESIGN] Features true separate fridge and freezer compartments. Keep ice cream frozen and drinks chilled”. Two doors, “true separate” compartments and ice cream by name. Then the listing gives no freezer temperature, no fridge temperature and no split between the two.
The design is the right one; the listing just does not prove it. A separate freezer door is how a compact fridge usually gets a freezer cold enough for ice cream, and every two-door listing here that prints a figure goes below 0°F. So the Manastin may well do the same. But the EUHOMY, the Feelfunn and the DEMULLER put their figures in writing, and the Manastin does not, so on the page its freezer claim rests on the door alone.
It has the largest cabinet of the 3 cu ft class. 3.6 cu ft, against 3.2 for the EUHOMY, Igloo, Frostorm and Upstreman, and 3.1 for the Midea. Only the Frigidaire 7.5 cu ft is bigger. Without a split you cannot tell how much of that extra space is freezer. The footprint is 19.3 by 17.7 inches and the height 32.8, so it fits the same under-counter spaces as the 3.2 cu ft units.
The controls are its other selling point. “[UPGRADED 7-LEVEL THERMOSTAT] … offering more precise control than standard 5-level fridges”. That matches the DEMULLER and beats the 3 levels of the EUHOMY and the Feelfunn. Seven settings with no temperature for any of them is still a dial without a scale. The listing describes “WHISPER-QUIET OPERATION” with a low-noise compressor and gives no decibel figure.
The warranty is the longest here. The spec table says “3 Year”. Every other listing says one year, except the Midea, which covers its compressor for two. On a compressor fridge, the compressor is the part that matters, so three years is a meaningful difference. The listing also describes thickened foam and corner guards in the packaging, and asks you to stand the fridge upright for 6 hours before plugging it in.
What to weigh. It is sold by Manastin Direct and ranks #7,986 overall and #14 in Compact Refrigerators, mid-table on this page. Before buying it for the freezer, ask the seller what temperature the freezer holds and how big it is. If the answers are 0°F or colder and around a quarter of the cabinet, the warranty makes it a strong buy.
Pros
- Two doors, “true separate” compartments
- 3 Year warranty, the longest here
- 3.6 cu ft, largest of the compacts
- 7-level thermostat
- Glass shelves and a crisper drawer
- Careful packaging described
Cons
- No freezer temperature stated
- No fridge temperature stated
- No freezer volume stated
- No noise figure
- Sold by the brand, not Amazon.com
- Ice cream claim rests on the door alone
Best for: A buyer who values a long warranty and a two-door layout, and will confirm the freezer temperature with the seller.
6. Frigidaire 2 Door Apartment Size Refrigerator/Freezer Combo, 7.5 cu ft, Platinum Series, EFR751 — Best for an Apartment Kitchen

The biggest cabinet here by more than double, with a dedicated freezer and no temperature or size for it.
Key Specifications
| Freezer door | Two doors; “DEDICATED FREEZER” |
|---|---|
| Freezer temperature | Not stated |
| Fridge temperature | Not stated |
| Capacity split | Not stated; 7.5 cu ft total |
| Thermostat | Adjustable; lights in both compartments |
| Size | 23 in D x 21.5 in W x 55.5 in H (title); 22.4 in wide (spec table) |
| Weight | 75.0 pounds |
| Mobility | Two front levelling legs, two rear castors |
| Stock | Scarce at capture |
| Warranty | 1 year |
| Seller | Amazon.com |
| Best Sellers Rank | #11,435 overall; #25 in Compact Refrigerators |
Why We Recommend It
This is not really a mini fridge, and that is the point of including it. At 7.5 cu ft and 55.5 inches tall, it is more than twice the capacity of anything else on the page and stands nearly two feet taller than the 3 cu ft units. Amazon files it in Compact Refrigerators at #25, alongside them. For a buyer who searched for a mini fridge with freezer and actually needs to store a week of food, it is the step up.
It promises a dedicated freezer and stops there. “DEDICATED FREEZER: Enjoy the convenience of a separate freezer compartment with ample space for your frozen goods, along with an adjustable thermostat and interior lighting for both compartments.” No freezer temperature. No fridge temperature. No split between the two. “Ample space” in a 7.5 cu ft cabinet probably means more freezer than any compact here, but the listing does not give a figure to compare.
The dimensions conflict. The title gives “23" D x 21.5" W x 55.5" H”. The spec table gives 22.4 inches wide and 21.5 inches long. So the width is 21.5 inches in one field and 22.4 in another, and the depth is 23 inches or not given. Plan for 22.4 inches wide and 23 inches deep, plus space for the doors to open, and measure the route in as well: at 75.0 pounds and 55.5 inches, it is a two-person carry.
It is built for a kitchen, not a desk. The listing describes removable glass shelves, a transparent crisper, a full-width door bin, interior lighting in both compartments, a reversible door, and “two front mount adjustable leveling legs and two castors mounted at the back” for moving it. It is styled with “chrome trim and handles” for an “upscale retro look”. It suggests kitchens, offices, dorms and garages; it gives no ambient operating range for the garage.
No running figures are stated. There is no energy figure, no Energy Star claim and no noise figure beyond “quiet operation”. A cabinet this size will use more power than a 3 cu ft compact, though the listing does not let you say how much more.
What to weigh. It is sold by Amazon.com, ranks #11,435 overall, and was flagged as scarce stock at capture. It is the highest-priced fridge on the page. Buy it if you need apartment-size storage with a separate freezer and have the floor space; ask for the freezer temperature and capacity first if those matter to you.
Pros
- 7.5 cu ft, by far the largest here
- Two doors with a dedicated freezer
- Lights in both compartments
- Castors and levelling legs
- Sold by Amazon.com
- Crisper and full-width door bin
Cons
- No freezer temperature or volume stated
- Width given as 21.5 and 22.4 in
- 55.5 in tall and 75.0 lb
- No energy or noise figure
- Scarce stock at capture
- 1 year warranty only
Best for: A studio or apartment kitchen that needs a full week of fridge and freezer space in a narrow footprint.
7. Frostorm 3.2 Cu Ft Mini Fridge with Freezer, Single Door, BC-90 — Best-Selling Single Door

The best-selling fridge on the page, and the one single door that prints a freezer temperature, twice, differently.
Key Specifications
| Freezer door | Single door, stated in title; interior compartment |
|---|---|
| Freezer temperature | -14°C to -24°C, listed as -6°F to -11°F |
| Capacity split | 0.35 cu ft freezer of 3.2 cu ft (91L) total |
| Thermostat | 1–5 mechanical; setting 3 recommended |
| Energy | 0.6 kWh per day, stated |
| Size | 32.7 in high; 18.9 x 17.2 in |
| Weight | 40.65 pounds |
| Defrost | Manual, stated |
| Certification | ETL; 115V/60Hz |
| Warranty | 1 Year |
| Seller | Frostorm-Direct |
| Best Sellers Rank | #18 overall; #1 in Upright Freezers |
Why We Recommend It
This is the best-selling fridge on the page by Amazon’s count. It ranks #18 overall, and Amazon files it as #1 in Upright Freezers, a category it does not really belong in: the title calls it “Mini Fridge with Freezer, Single Door Upright Freezer”, and the listing describes a 3.2 cu ft fridge with a small freezer compartment inside. The filing may help it sell. It also means anyone looking for a true upright freezer can land on a fridge.
It is the only single-door unit here that prints a freezer temperature. The first bullet says the “0.35 cu ft upright freezer compartment” “reaches temperatures between -14°C to -24°C (-6°F to -11°F)*”. That is a strong claim for an interior compartment, and it carries an asterisk the listing does not explain. The Igloo prints nothing for its compartment, and the Upstreman says its compartment is not for ice cream.
The two scales disagree. -24°C is about -11.2°F, so the cold end matches. But -14°C is about 6.8°F, by our arithmetic, not -6°F. The Celsius range runs from about 6.8°F to -11.2°F, which crosses the 0°F standard; the Fahrenheit range printed beside it never does. One of the two warm-end figures is wrong, and the listing does not say which. Read it as a compartment that can reach freezer temperature on a cold setting and may sit above 0°F on a warm one.
The listing itself limits what the freezer is for. The fourth bullet says “The separate upright freezer compartment is best for ice making and short-term frozen storage”. That is an honest line, and it is the usual limit of a compartment inside a single door: every time the main door opens, the compartment sees room air. At 0.35 cu ft it is also small, about 11% of the cabinet by our arithmetic, roughly a third of the Midea’s freezer.
The running figures are the best stated here. “consumes an average of only 0.6 kWh per day”, about 219 kWh a year by our arithmetic, the lowest stated consumption on the page. The thermostat runs 1 to 5, with setting 3 recommended for daily use. It has adjustable shelves, door bins, a reversible door and manual defrost, and is ETL certified on standard 115V/60Hz power.
What to weigh. It is sold by Frostorm-Direct with a 1 Year warranty, and it is one of the lower-priced fridges on the page. If you want a 3.2 cu ft fridge first, with ice cubes and a few frozen items on the side, it is the best documented single-door option here. If you want ice cream to stay hard for weeks, buy a two-door unit.
Pros
- #18 overall, the best rank on the page
- Only single door with a printed freezer temperature
- Cold end -24°C stated
- 0.6 kWh/day, the lowest stated here
- Honest about short-term frozen storage
- Reversible door; ETL certified
Cons
- -14°C and -6°F do not match
- Interior compartment, not a separate door
- 0.35 cu ft freezer, about 11% of the box (ours)
- Unexplained asterisk on the temperature
- Filed as an upright freezer
- Manual defrost
Best for: A buyer who wants a full-size compact fridge with ice cubes and short-term frozen storage on the side.
8. Igloo 3.2 Cu.Ft. Mini Fridge with Freezer, Single Door, IRF32BK6A — Best Compact Refrigerator Rank

The best-ranked compact refrigerator on the page, with a freezer it describes in one line and no number.
Key Specifications
| Freezer door | Single door, stated in title |
|---|---|
| Freezer temperature | Not stated |
| Fridge temperature | 32–50°F, stated |
| Capacity split | Not stated; 3.2 cu ft total |
| Thermostat | Adjustable mechanical |
| Cooling | Compressor, static cooling, no fan |
| Size | 32.5 in high; 18.63 x 17.13 in |
| Weight | 38.5 pounds |
| Warranty | 1-year limited |
| Seller | Amazon.com |
| Best Sellers Rank | #1,283 overall; #3 in Compact Refrigerators |
Why We Recommend It
The Igloo is the most popular fridge here that Amazon files as a compact refrigerator. #1,283 overall and #3 in Compact Refrigerators. Only the Frostorm and the DEMULLER rank higher overall, and both are filed in other categories. It is sold by Amazon.com. Its listing is also one of the shortest on the page: five bullets, one of them about the freezer.
The freezer gets one line. “Freezer: Separate Freezer Compartment Is Ideal For Any Frozen Foods”. “Separate” here means a compartment separated from the fridge space inside the cabinet, not a separate door: the title says “Single Door Compact Refrigerator”. There is no freezer temperature and no freezer volume. “Ideal for any frozen foods” is a broad promise for a compartment with no stated temperature, and it is the kind of claim the Upstreman explicitly declines to make.
The fridge range is stated, the freezer is not. “Refrigerator Cooling Range: 32 – 50 degrees F”. In a single-door fridge with one mechanical thermostat, the compartment and the fridge are cooled together, so a freezer setting cold enough for ice cream would push the fridge section colder too. The listing does not say what temperature the compartment reaches at any setting, so you are left to find out.
It cools without a fan. “Cooling Type: Compressor Static Cooling No Fan”. Static cooling is common in compact fridges and is quiet, but cold air settles rather than circulates, so the top and bottom of the cabinet can run at different temperatures. The Midea, by contrast, describes a multi-air flow system. No energy or noise figure is stated for the Igloo.
The cabinet is a standard 3.2 cu ft. 32.5 inches high and 18.63 by 17.13 inches, 38.5 pounds, with glass shelves. The model is IRF32BK6A and the warranty is “1-year limited”.
What to weigh. It is a well-ranked, Amazon-sold 3.2 cu ft fridge. As a fridge with a place for ice trays and a few frozen items, it fits the bill. As a mini fridge with a freezer for ice cream or long storage, the listing gives you nothing to go on, and the single door works against it.
Pros
- #3 in Compact Refrigerators; #1,283 overall
- Sold by Amazon.com
- Fridge range 32–50°F stated
- Glass shelves
- 3.2 cu ft cabinet
- Mechanical thermostat, simple to use
Cons
- No freezer temperature stated
- No freezer volume stated
- Single door; compartment shares the fridge air
- Static cooling, no fan
- No energy or noise figure
- 1-year limited warranty
Best for: A buyer who mainly wants a fridge and is happy with an ice-tray compartment.
9. Upstreman 3.2 Cu.Ft Mini Fridge with Freezer, Black, BR321 — Most Honest Listing

Sold as a mini fridge with freezer, and the only listing that tells you its freezer will not hold ice cream.
Key Specifications
| Freezer door | One door; interior freezer compartment |
|---|---|
| Freezer temperature | Not stated; “Not suitable for storing ice cream and ice cubes” |
| Fridge temperature | 32°F to 50°F, 5 levels |
| Capacity split | 0.3 cu ft freezer; 2.9 cu ft fridge |
| Energy | Energy Star certified; no figure |
| Noise | 38 dB, stated |
| Size | 18.7 x 17.4 x 33.1 in (W x D x H) |
| Weight | About 43.3 pounds |
| Extras | Crisper drawer, defrost tool, reversible door |
| Warranty | One-Year Warranty |
| Seller | Upstreman Innovation Direct |
| Best Sellers Rank | #2,525 overall; #6 in Compact Refrigerators |
Why We Recommend It
This listing says out loud what the others leave you to discover. The second bullet gives “5 adjustable temperature levels ranging from 32°F to 50°F (Not suitable for storing ice cream and ice cubes)”. The title is “Mini Fridge with Freezer”. The freezer compartment is real, but the brand is telling you it will not keep ice cream frozen and will not reliably make ice.
That is what a 0.3 cu ft interior compartment often means. The first bullet says “The interior includes a 0.3 cu.ft freezer compartment and 2.9 cu.ft refrigeration space”. 0.3 of 3.2 cu ft is about 9%, the smallest stated freezer share on the page, by our arithmetic. The compartment sits inside the one door, and the only temperatures the listing gives are the fridge’s. Put the two together and the compartment is a chiller: colder than the shelves, good for keeping something near freezing, not a freezer by the 0°F standard.
It is still a capable fridge. It is “Energy Star certified”, runs at a stated 38 dB, and has two adjustable glass shelves, a crisper drawer, a reversible door, adjustable levelling feet and a defrost tool. The cabinet is “18.7’’*17.4’’*33.1’’(W*D*H)”. The listed weight is 43.320834483 pounds, about 43.3.
And shoppers are buying it. It ranks #2,525 overall and #6 in Compact Refrigerators, fourth-best overall on the page and second-best in that category after the Igloo. Many buyers of a mini fridge with freezer may really want a fridge with somewhere cold for a bag of frozen peas, and for them the Upstreman is honest about what they get.
What to weigh. It is sold by Upstreman Innovation Direct with a one-year warranty. Buy it if you want a quiet, efficient 3.2 cu ft fridge and do not need to freeze anything. If ice cream or ice cubes are on your list, the listing itself tells you to look elsewhere, and the two-door units at the top of this page are where to look. For a fridge chosen mainly for drinks, our mini fridge for bottled water guide covers that use.
Pros
- States plainly what the freezer cannot do
- #2,525 overall; #6 in Compact Refrigerators
- Energy Star certified
- 38 dB stated
- Split stated: 0.3 / 2.9 cu ft
- Crisper drawer and defrost tool
Cons
- Not suitable for ice cream or ice cubes, stated
- Smallest freezer share here, about 9% (ours)
- No freezer temperature
- No energy figure despite Energy Star
- Sold by the brand, not Amazon.com
- Fridge top setting 50°F
Best for: A buyer who wants a quiet, efficient fridge and only needs a chiller compartment, not a freezer.
10. Frigidaire Retro Compact Mini Fridge with Freezer Compartment, Contemporary Series, EFR189AMZ — Best Under-Desk Cube

A 21.5-inch cube with a freezer compartment in the title and nothing else about it in the listing.
Key Specifications
| Freezer door | Interior freezer compartment (title) |
|---|---|
| Freezer temperature | Not stated |
| Fridge temperature | Not stated |
| Capacity | 1.6 cu ft fresh food (title, bullet); 1.8 cu ft (spec table) |
| Thermostat | Adjustable |
| Storage | One full-width shelf, half-width door shelf, 2-liter bottle rack |
| Size | 21.5 in high; 19.0 x 17.5 in |
| Weight | 36.0 pounds |
| Warranty | 1 Year Manufacturer Limited |
| Seller | Amazon.com |
| Best Sellers Rank | #18,785 overall; #38 in Compact Refrigerators |
Why We Recommend It
This is the only cube-height fridge on the page. At 21.5 inches tall, it is about a foot shorter than the 3 cu ft units, short enough to sit under most desks or on a counter. The title calls it a “Retro Compact Mini Fridge with Freezer Compartment”, and it is sold by Amazon.com under the Frigidaire name, manufactured by Curtis International according to the spec table.
The freezer exists in the title and nowhere else. The five bullets cover an adjustable thermostat, one full-width shelf, a 2-liter bottle rack, a half-width door shelf and “1. 6 cu. ft. fresh food capacity”. None mentions the freezer compartment. There is no freezer temperature, no fridge temperature and no compartment size. In a cube this size, a freezer compartment is typically a small box at the top of the cabinet with room for an ice tray, but the listing does not describe it at all.
The capacity has two figures. The title and the last bullet say 1.6 cu ft; the spec table says “1.8 cu ft”. The bullet calls 1.6 the “fresh food capacity”, so one reading is that 1.8 is the whole cabinet including the compartment, which would make the compartment about 0.2 cu ft by our arithmetic. The listing does not say so, and the model number, EFR189AMZ, does not settle it either. Treat 1.6 cu ft as the usable fridge space.
It suits a fridge-first buyer. The 2-liter bottle rack and full-width shelf are drinks-and-snacks storage. For a cube of this capacity, our 1.6 cu ft mini fridge roundup compares ten more like it, and if budget is the main limit, our guide to mini fridges under 50 covers the smallest units. Neither of those categories promises a real freezer either.
What to weigh. It ranks #18,785 overall and #38 in Compact Refrigerators, the lowest on this page, with a 1 Year Manufacturer Limited warranty. Buy it for the height and the look, and treat the compartment as a place for an ice tray. It is the clearest case on the page of the word freezer doing work the listing never supports.
Pros
- 21.5 in tall, fits under a desk
- Sold by Amazon.com
- 2-liter bottle rack
- Adjustable thermostat
- Retro styling in stainless
- 36.0 lb, easy to move
Cons
- Freezer compartment never described
- No temperatures stated at all
- Capacity given as 1.6 and 1.8 cu ft
- Lowest rank on the page
- One full-width shelf only
- 1 year warranty
Best for: A desk-side or counter fridge for drinks and snacks, with an ice-tray compartment as a bonus.
Five Numbers Below Zero, Four Blanks and One Warning
The freezer temperature is the single figure that tells you whether a mini fridge with freezer can actually freeze. Here is every freezer figure on the page, as printed, with our conversion beside it and the door count the listing states. The last column is our arithmetic. We compare each figure against 0°F (-18°C), the standard storage temperature for a home freezer.
| Fridge | Doors stated | Freezer temperature as printed | Conversion (ours) | Against 0°F |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Midea 3.1 | Not stated | -11.2℉ to 5℉ (-24℃ to -15℃) | Scales agree | Below on cold settings; above on the warmest |
| Frostorm 3.2 | Single | -14°C to -24°C (-6°F to -11°F) | -14°C is about 6.8°F | Cold end below; warm end disputed |
| EUHOMY 3.2 | Two | As low as -7.6°F | About -22°C | Below at its coldest |
| Feelfunn 2.5 | Two | Below -4°F | About -20°C | Below |
| DEMULLER 45L | Two | Ranges from -0.4°F | Exactly -18°C | At the standard |
| Upstreman 3.2 | One, interior compartment | None; “Not suitable for storing ice cream and ice cubes” | — | Disclaimed |
| Manastin 3.6 | Two | Not stated | — | Unknown |
| Frigidaire 7.5 | Two | Not stated | — | Unknown |
| Igloo 3.2 | Single | Not stated | — | Unknown |
| Frigidaire Retro | Interior compartment | Not stated | — | Unknown |
Every printed figure goes below zero. None of the five listings that commit to a number stops short of 0°F at its coldest. That is the good news, and it means the printed figure is a reasonable first filter: a listing that gives one has, at least on paper, a freezer that freezes. The coldest stated figure is the -11.2°F shared by the Midea and the Frostorm’s Celsius cold end. The warmest stated floor is the DEMULLER’s -0.4°F, which is the metric standard to the decimal.
Doors predict the number, but not perfectly. Of the five listings that say two doors, three print a sub-zero figure and two, the Manastin and the Frigidaire 7.5, print nothing. Of the four single-door or compartment listings, one prints a figure, the Frostorm, one disclaims freezing outright, the Upstreman, and two say nothing. The Midea prints the most complete range and never says how many doors it has. So the door is a strong hint and the number is the proof. Ask for both.
Read the qualifiers. “As low as” on the EUHOMY means the coldest setting. “Ranges from” on the DEMULLER does not say which end. “Below” on the Feelfunn is the firmest wording here. The Midea is the only listing that gives both ends, which is why it shows that its warmest freezer setting, 5°F, sits above the standard. Expect the same to be true of the others on their warm settings, whether or not they say so.

Why One Door Rarely Makes a Freezer
The listings describe two layouts under one name, and the physics of each explains most of what the numbers show. None of this is measured; it is how compact refrigerators are generally built, and it is consistent with what these ten listings say about themselves.
In a single-door fridge, the freezer is usually the cold plate. The compartment at the top of the cabinet is typically wrapped around, or formed from, the evaporator that cools the whole fridge, with a small flap in front. There is one thermostat. To make the compartment colder you turn the dial down, and the fridge shelves get colder too. Every time you open the main door for a drink, room air reaches the compartment. That is why the Upstreman says its compartment is not for ice cream, why the Frostorm calls its compartment “best for ice making and short-term frozen storage”, and why the Igloo’s “Separate Freezer Compartment” comes with no temperature.
In a two-door fridge, the freezer is its own insulated box. It has its own door and seal, so opening the fridge does not warm it. The cold is concentrated where the freezer is, and the fridge section is cooled from it or separately. That is the layout that lets a compact fridge reach and hold 0°F, and it is the layout behind the EUHOMY’s -7.6°F, the Feelfunn’s below -4°F and the DEMULLER’s -0.4°F.
The trade is shelf space and simplicity. A separate freezer takes a bigger share of the cabinet: about 26% to 33% on the two-door and separate-zone units that state a split, against about 9% to 11% on the single-door units, all our arithmetic. Two doors mean two seals and, on most compact units, manual defrost of the freezer. If you only want cold drinks and somewhere for an ice tray, a single door gives you more fridge for the same box. If you want frozen food, it is the wrong tool.
How Much of the Box Is Freezer
Five listings state how the cabinet divides. The shares and the litre figures below are our arithmetic from the printed cubic feet.
| Fridge | Freezer stated | Fridge stated | Total | Freezer share (ours) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| DEMULLER 45L | 0.8 cu ft | 1.6 cu ft | 2.4 cu ft by the split; 45L (about 1.59 cu ft) stated | About 33% |
| Midea 3.1 | 0.92 cu ft | 2.16 cu ft | 3.08 cu ft by the split; 3.1 stated | About 30% |
| Feelfunn 2.5 | 0.65 cu ft | 1.85 cu ft | 2.5 cu ft | About 26% |
| Frostorm 3.2 | 0.35 cu ft | Not stated | 3.2 cu ft (91L) | About 11% |
| Upstreman 3.2 | 0.3 cu ft | 2.9 cu ft | 3.2 cu ft | About 9% |
| EUHOMY, Manastin, Igloo, Frigidaire 7.5, Frigidaire Retro | Not stated | Not stated | 3.2, 3.6, 3.2, 7.5, 1.6 or 1.8 cu ft | — |
The shares fall into two bands. The three listings with a sub-zero freezer and a stated split give the freezer a quarter to a third of the box. The two single-door units give it a tenth. The Midea’s 0.92 cu ft freezer is more than three times the Upstreman’s 0.3, in a cabinet that is slightly smaller overall.
What fits. A cubic foot is about 28 litres, so 0.3 cu ft is about 8.5 litres and 0.92 cu ft about 26 litres, our arithmetic. A standard 1.5-quart tub of ice cream is about 1.4 litres. On paper the smallest compartment holds several, but on paper is not how freezers work: shelves, flaps and the frost that builds on manual-defrost walls all take space. Use the stated share to compare one fridge with another, not to plan a load.
The DEMULLER conflict matters here. If its 45L total is right and the 0.8 plus 1.6 split is wrong, the freezer is smaller than stated. If the split is right, the 45L figure undersells the cabinet. One plausible reading, that the 1.6 cu ft fridge section is the 45 litres, would leave the split intact. The listing does not say. It is a reason to confirm before you buy it for the freezer, not a reason to rule it out.
Rank Follows the Filing, Not the Freezer
Star ratings were not captured for this roundup, so the only popularity measure here is Amazon’s Best Sellers Rank, as returned on 5 October 2026. Ranks move constantly. Amazon files these ten in three categories, so category ranks are not comparable across all ten. Read the overall order.
| Fridge | Overall rank | Category rank | Freezer temperature stated |
|---|---|---|---|
| Frostorm 3.2 | #18 | #1 in Upright Freezers | -14 to -24°C (scales disagree) |
| DEMULLER 45L | #31 | #1 in Standard Refrigerators | From -0.4°F |
| Igloo 3.2 | #1,283 | #3 in Compact Refrigerators | Not stated |
| Upstreman 3.2 | #2,525 | #6 in Compact Refrigerators | Not for ice cream |
| Manastin 3.6 | #7,986 | #14 in Compact Refrigerators | Not stated |
| Midea 3.1 | #9,826 | #20 in Compact Refrigerators | -11.2 to 5°F |
| EUHOMY 3.2 | #10,019 | #22 in Compact Refrigerators | As low as -7.6°F |
| Frigidaire 7.5 | #11,435 | #25 in Compact Refrigerators | Not stated |
| Feelfunn 2.5 | #13,103 | #29 in Compact Refrigerators | Below -4°F |
| Frigidaire Retro | #18,785 | #38 in Compact Refrigerators | Not stated |
The two best sellers are both filed outside Compact Refrigerators. The Frostorm is #1 in Upright Freezers and the DEMULLER #1 in Standard Refrigerators, and that is where their #18 and #31 overall ranks come from. Neither is an upright freezer or a standard refrigerator. Being first in a smaller category can make a listing more visible; it says nothing about its freezer.
Among the compacts, the freezer-silent units sell best. The Igloo and the Upstreman hold the top two Compact Refrigerators ranks, #3 and #6. One gives no freezer temperature and the other says its freezer will not hold ice cream. The three compacts that print a sub-zero freezer figure, the Midea, the EUHOMY and the Feelfunn, rank #20, #22 and #29. Shoppers are buying fridges with an ice-tray compartment far more often than fridges with a freezer. If a freezer is what you need, buy against the rank.

What Each Step Up Actually Buys
The chiller compartment — Upstreman, Igloo, Frigidaire Retro. One door and a compartment with no freezer temperature. The Upstreman says it is not for ice cream; the Igloo and the Retro say nothing. This tier buys the most fridge space per cabinet, and the best Compact Refrigerators ranks, but not a freezer. It suits ice trays, a bag of frozen peas for a day or two, and drinks.
The single door with a number — Frostorm. One door, a 0.35 cu ft compartment and a printed range down to -24°C, with a warm-end figure that does not match its own conversion. The step up buys a stated freezer temperature and the lowest stated energy use on the page, while the listing still limits the compartment to ice making and short-term storage.
The two-door with a number — Feelfunn, EUHOMY, DEMULLER, and the Midea. A separate freezer, or in the Midea’s case a separate-zone freezer with its own range, and a printed figure below 0°F. This step buys a freezer that can keep ice cream firm and food frozen for longer, and a freezer share of about a quarter to a third of the cabinet where stated. The Feelfunn has the cleanest listing, the Midea the biggest and coldest freezer, the DEMULLER the smallest footprint and the best rank, and the EUHOMY the bigger cabinet without a stated split.
The two-door without a number — Manastin, Frigidaire 7.5. The right layout and no freezer temperature. The Manastin adds a 3 Year warranty and a 7-level thermostat; the Frigidaire adds 7.5 cu ft, castors and lights in both compartments. This tier buys size and paperwork, and leaves the freezer figure for you to ask about.
Price does not track the freezer. One of the lowest-priced fridges here, the DEMULLER, prints a sub-zero figure and has a separate door; some of the pricier ones print no freezer figure at all. The extra you pay goes on capacity, warranty, brand and finish. The freezer you have to read for.

What to Check Before You Buy
Find the Freezer Temperature in Writing
Five of ten listings print one, and all five go below 0°F at their coldest. Four print nothing, and the Upstreman says its compartment is not for ice cream. If the listing does not give a freezer figure, ask the seller, and treat no answer as a no. A fridge range of 32°F to 50°F is not a freezer figure.
Count the Doors in the Title
Five listings here say two doors in words. A separate freezer door is the layout that lets a compact fridge hold freezer temperatures while you open the fridge for drinks. “Separate freezer compartment” on a single-door fridge, as on the Igloo, means separate inside the cabinet, not a separate door. Where a listing does not say, as with the Midea, check the photographs.
Check the Celsius Against the Fahrenheit
Two listings here print both scales. The Midea’s agree. The Frostorm’s do not: -14°C is about 6.8°F, not -6°F, by our arithmetic. To convert, multiply Celsius by 1.8 and add 32. If the two figures disagree, trust the one that makes the freezer warmer until the seller tells you otherwise.
Ask How Much of the Box Is Freezer
Five listings state the split. The freezer share runs from about 9% to about 33%, our arithmetic, and the largest stated freezer, the Midea’s 0.92 cu ft, is three times the smallest. A total capacity tells you nothing about the freezer. Divide the freezer figure by the total; a quarter or more is a real freezer, a tenth is an ice-tray box.
Make Sure the Capacity Figures Add Up
The DEMULLER says 45L and also 0.8 plus 1.6 cu ft, which is 2.4 cu ft, about 68 litres by our arithmetic. The Frigidaire Retro says 1.6 cu ft in the title and 1.8 in the spec table. One litre is about 0.035 cu ft. When two figures disagree, plan on the smaller.
Measure Height, Depth and Door Swing
Heights here run from 21.5 inches on the Frigidaire Retro to 55.5 inches on the Frigidaire 7.5, with the 3 cu ft units around 32.5 to 33.5 inches. Depths run to 19.7 inches on the EUHOMY’s spec table and 23 inches on the Frigidaire 7.5. Add space behind and beside for ventilation, and check which way the door opens; six listings here say the door is reversible.
Plan for Manual Defrost
The DEMULLER and Frostorm state manual defrost, the Upstreman includes a defrost tool and the Feelfunn an ice shovel for defrosting. None of the ten claims automatic defrost. A compact freezer builds frost on its walls, which eats into the space and the efficiency. Plan to switch it off, empty it and clear the ice every few weeks to few months, depending on how often you open it.

Common Mistakes
- Reading “with freezer” as a promise of 0°F. Four of ten print no freezer temperature, and the Upstreman says its compartment is not for ice cream.
- Taking “separate compartment” to mean a separate door. The Igloo’s “Separate Freezer Compartment” sits inside a single-door fridge.
- Trusting a Fahrenheit figure without checking the Celsius. The Frostorm prints -14°C beside -6°F; -14°C is about 6.8°F by our arithmetic.
- Comparing total capacity instead of freezer capacity. The 3.2 cu ft Upstreman has a 0.3 cu ft freezer; the 3.1 cu ft Midea has 0.92.
- Accepting capacity figures that do not add up. The DEMULLER says 45L and 2.4 cu ft; one is about 1.59 cu ft, the other about 68 litres (ours).
- Buying by Best Sellers Rank. The top two compact ranks, #3 and #6, go to fridges with no freezer figure and a no-ice-cream warning.
- Setting a single-door fridge cold enough to freeze. One thermostat cools both; a freezing compartment pushes the fridge shelves towards 32°F.
- Forgetting the defrost. None of the ten claims automatic defrost; four mention manual defrost or a tool for it.
Who Should Buy Which
Buy the Feelfunn 2.5 Cu.Ft if you want a freezer you can rely on, in a small box. Two doors, a 0.65 cu ft freezer stated below -4°F and a 32–41°F fridge, with every figure in the listing agreeing with every other. Accept the smallest two-door cabinet here and only 3 thermostat levels.
Buy the Midea 3.1 Cu.Ft if freezer space matters most. 0.92 cu ft, the largest stated freezer, with a range of -11.2 to 5°F in matching Celsius and Fahrenheit, Energy Star and a 2-year compressor warranty, sold by Amazon.com. Confirm the door count from the photos or the seller first.
Buy the DEMULLER 45L if you want a separate freezer door in the smallest footprint. A top freezer stated from -0.4°F, the biggest stated freezer share and the best rank of any two-door unit, #31 overall. Accept that its 45L total and its 2.4 cu ft split cannot both be right.
Buy the EUHOMY 3.2 Cu.Ft if you want two doors and a firm sub-zero figure in a full-size compact. As low as -7.6°F, sold by Amazon.com. Ask for the freezer volume, and note that stock was scarce at capture.
Buy the Manastin 3.6 Cu.Ft if the warranty matters most. Two doors, 3.6 cu ft and a 3 Year warranty, the longest here. Ask the seller for the freezer temperature, because the listing promises frozen ice cream without one.
Buy the Frigidaire 7.5 Cu.Ft if you need apartment-size storage. Two doors, a dedicated freezer, castors and lights in both compartments, 55.5 inches tall. Measure for 22.4 inches wide and ask for the freezer figures.
Buy the Frostorm 3.2 Cu Ft if you want a fridge first, with ice and short-term frozen storage. The best rank on the page, the lowest stated energy use, and the only single door with a printed freezer range. Its own listing limits the compartment to ice making and short-term storage.
Buy the Igloo 3.2 Cu.Ft if you mainly want a fridge from a well-ranked, Amazon-sold listing. #3 in Compact Refrigerators. Treat its compartment as an ice-tray box; it states no freezer temperature.
Buy the Upstreman 3.2 Cu.Ft if you do not need to freeze anything. Energy Star, 38 dB and an honest listing that says its compartment will not hold ice cream or ice cubes.
Buy the Frigidaire Retro if height is the limit. 21.5 inches tall, 1.6 cu ft of fresh food space and a retro stainless finish. Its freezer compartment is named in the title and nowhere else.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best mini fridge with freezer?
On the listings, the Feelfunn 2.5 Cu.Ft 2-Door. It is one of only two listings here that state all three things that matter in words: two doors, a freezer temperature (below -4°F) and a freezer volume (0.65 cu ft of a 2.5 cu ft cabinet). Its figures all agree with each other, which the other one, the DEMULLER, cannot claim. Its fridge range, 32°F to 41°F, is also the tightest on the page. If you want more freezer space, the Midea 3.1 Cu.Ft states the largest freezer here, 0.92 cu ft, and the coldest range, -11.2°F to 5°F, though the listing never says how many doors it has. For the smallest footprint and the best rank of any two-door unit, the DEMULLER 45L has a separate top freezer stated from -0.4°F, with capacity figures that do not add up.
What is the best mini fridge freezer combo?
A true combo has a separate freezer door, and five listings here say two doors in words: the Feelfunn, the DEMULLER, the EUHOMY, the Manastin and the Frigidaire 7.5 cu ft. Of those, three print a freezer temperature below 0°F: the EUHOMY as low as -7.6°F, the Feelfunn below -4°F and the DEMULLER from -0.4°F. Those three are the combos with evidence behind them. The Manastin promises to keep ice cream frozen and has a 3 Year warranty, the longest here, but gives no temperature. The Frigidaire 7.5 cu ft is the largest combo by far, at 55.5 inches tall, with a dedicated freezer and no stated temperature or volume. For a small combo, choose the Feelfunn or the DEMULLER; for a larger compact cabinet, the EUHOMY; for an apartment kitchen, the Frigidaire 7.5.
Can a mini fridge freezer keep ice cream frozen?
Only if it holds about 0°F or colder, and the listing is the place to check. Ice cream softens noticeably above that, and a compartment hovering a few degrees below freezing will leave it soft and icy. On this page, five listings print a freezer figure below 0°F at their coldest setting: the Midea, the EUHOMY, the Feelfunn, the DEMULLER and the Frostorm. The Feelfunn names ice cream as a use and backs it with below -4°F. The Upstreman, a single-door fridge, says its compartment is not suitable for ice cream or ice cubes. The Igloo, the Manastin and both Frigidaires print no freezer figure. In general, a two-door unit with its own freezer seal is much more likely to keep ice cream firm than a compartment inside a single door, which warms every time the main door opens.
What is the difference between a freezer compartment and a separate freezer?
A freezer compartment sits inside a single-door fridge, usually at the top, behind a small flap. It is typically cooled by the same evaporator and controlled by the same thermostat as the rest of the fridge, and it sees room air every time the main door opens. A separate freezer has its own door, its own seal and its own insulated space, so it can be held much colder than the fridge. On this page, the Igloo, the Frostorm, the Upstreman and the Frigidaire Retro have compartments; the Feelfunn, the DEMULLER, the EUHOMY, the Manastin and the Frigidaire 7.5 cu ft have separate freezer doors. The Upstreman says its compartment cannot hold ice cream, and the Frostorm limits its compartment to ice making and short-term storage. The word “separate” can mislead: the Igloo’s “Separate Freezer Compartment” is inside a single door.
How cold should a mini fridge freezer be?
For storing frozen food, 0°F (-18°C) or colder, the standard figure for a home freezer. The fridge section should sit at 40°F or below for fresh food. On this page, the stated freezer figures are -11.2°F to 5°F on the Midea, as low as -7.6°F on the EUHOMY, below -4°F on the Feelfunn, from -0.4°F on the DEMULLER and -14°C to -24°C on the Frostorm, whose printed Fahrenheit equivalents do not match its Celsius. The Midea is the only one that gives both ends of its range, and its warmest setting, 5°F, sits above the standard, so use the colder settings if the freezer is for storage. Most fridges here give a fridge range of 32°F to 50°F; the Feelfunn’s 32°F to 41°F is the tightest. A cheap appliance thermometer in each section is the simplest way to find the right dial setting.
How much freezer space does a mini fridge with freezer have?
It varies far more than the total capacity suggests. Five listings here state a split. The Midea gives 0.92 cu ft of freezer in a 3.1 cu ft cabinet, the DEMULLER 0.8 cu ft against 1.6 cu ft of fridge, the Feelfunn 0.65 of 2.5 cu ft, the Frostorm 0.35 of 3.2 cu ft and the Upstreman 0.3 against 2.9 cu ft. As a share of the cabinet, our arithmetic, that runs from about 33% on the DEMULLER down to about 9% on the Upstreman. Two-door and separate-zone units give the freezer a quarter to a third of the box; single-door units give it about a tenth. The EUHOMY, Manastin, Igloo and both Frigidaires do not state a freezer volume at all. If frozen storage matters, compare the freezer figure, not the cubic feet on the front of the box.
Do mini fridges with freezers need defrosting?
Almost always, yes. None of the ten listings here claims automatic or frost-free defrost. The DEMULLER and the Frostorm state manual defrost, the Upstreman includes a defrost tool, and the Feelfunn includes an ice shovel for defrosting, which tells you the same thing. Frost builds up on the freezer walls each time warm, humid air gets in, and as it thickens it takes up space and makes the fridge work harder. Two-door units build frost more slowly in the freezer because opening the fridge section does not let air in there. To defrost, empty the freezer, switch the unit off, leave the doors open with a towel and a tray underneath, and let the ice melt rather than chipping it with anything sharp. How often depends on how often you open it, from every few weeks to every few months.
Can I put a mini fridge with freezer in a garage?
Some listings suggest it: the Midea and the Frigidaire 7.5 cu ft both mention garages, and the Feelfunn lists them among its uses. None of the ten states an ambient operating range, which is the figure that would tell you whether it copes with a cold winter garage or a hot summer one. Compact fridges with a single thermostat can behave badly at the edges: in a cold room the compressor runs less, and a freezer cooled from the fridge circuit may warm up, while in a hot room the compressor may struggle to hold the freezer below 0°F. If a garage is your plan, ask the seller for the rated ambient range and leave space around it for air to move. A dedicated freezer from our small chest freezer roundup may be better suited to garage storage.
Final Verdict
Two doors, a 0.65 cu ft freezer stated below -4°F and a 32–41°F fridge, with every figure agreeing.
0.92 cu ft of freezer and a -11.2 to 5°F range, Energy Star, sold by Amazon.com; confirm the door count.
A separate top freezer from -0.4°F in the smallest footprint here, ranked #31 overall.
Ten mini fridges are sold with a freezer, and only five tell you how cold it gets. All five go below 0°F at their coldest, from the DEMULLER’s -0.4°F to the Midea’s -11.2°F. Four print nothing. One, the Upstreman, says its compartment is not suitable for ice cream or ice cubes. The word freezer on the box does not tell you which of those you are buying; the minus sign does.
The door is the strongest hint. Three of the five two-door listings print a sub-zero figure; of the four single-door and compartment listings, only the Frostorm does, and its Celsius and Fahrenheit figures disagree. A freezer with its own door and seal can be held at freezer temperature while the fridge is opened for drinks. A compartment inside one door usually cannot, and the listings that describe one mostly say so, or say nothing.
So read for three numbers. A freezer temperature at or below 0°F, in writing. A freezer volume, ideally a quarter of the cabinet or more. And capacity figures that add up. Then check height, depth and the defrost you will have to do, because none of these ten defrosts itself.
If you buy one mini fridge with freezer from this page, make it the Feelfunn 2.5 Cu.Ft: two doors, a freezer stated below -4°F, a 0.65 cu ft freezer in a 2.5 cu ft cabinet, and a listing that never contradicts itself. If you need more freezer, the Midea states the most, 0.92 cu ft; if footprint and budget come first, the DEMULLER puts a separate freezer door in the smallest box here.
