You are shopping for bottles. Every fridge on this page is rated in cans.
130 cans. 126 cans. 120, 76, 48, 24. Nine of these ten listings publish a can figure and exactly one publishes a bottle figure — and that one is a wine cooler, counting wine bottles, which lie down.
The numbers do not transfer. A standard 12 oz can is about 4.8 inches tall. A 16.9 oz water bottle is around 8 inches, and a litre bottle closer to 12. Capacity in cubic feet tells you the volume; it tells you nothing about whether a bottle will stand up on a shelf spaced for cans. And not one listing here publishes a shelf gap.
So the specification to buy on is not capacity. It is how many shelves come out and how many positions they fit into — one fridge here offers four shelves across eight slots, and that is the closest anyone comes to answering the question you actually asked.
Two other things separate these. Minimum temperature runs from 32°F to 40°F, which is the difference between cold water and cool water. And one of these is not a refrigerator at all.

Every fridge on this page is rated in cans. You are shopping for bottles. A standard 12 oz can is 4.83 inches tall and 2.6 inches across; a 16.9 oz water bottle is roughly 8 inches tall and narrower. So “130 cans” describes a volume that is arranged nothing like the way your bottles will be, and the number that actually decides how many bottles fit is shelf spacing — which nobody publishes at all.
What saves this one is adjustability. Removable shelves let you pull one out and stand bottles upright in the double-height space, and this fridge publishes its internal height at 30.9 inches overall so you can work backwards.
0.69 kWh a day is genuinely useful and almost unique here. That is roughly 250 kWh a year — a real number you can put a price on, and only one other listing on this page publishes anything comparable.
The 24-hour upright rule is not a formality. Compressor oil migrates during shipping and running the unit too soon can wreck it.

A compressor fridge sets a temperature; a thermoelectric cooler sets a difference. That distinction decides whether the thing actually works. A compressor pumps refrigerant and can hold 40°F whether the room is 65°F or 90°F. A thermoelectric unit — there is one further down this page — can only pull a fixed number of degrees below whatever the room happens to be, so in a warm room it simply never gets cold. Getting a real compressor into a 0.6 cubic foot cabinet at $94.98 is the achievement here.
38 decibels is quiet enough for a bedroom, roughly the level of a soft whisper, and it is published — three fridges here give a figure and the rest do not.

Six degrees does not sound like much and it is the difference between a cold drink and a cool one. Refrigerators for food are set around 37°F because that is the safe storage figure; a drinks fridge does not have that constraint, and water served at 34°F is noticeably, immediately colder in the mouth. “Four adjustable wire shelves…can accommodate cans, bottles, and kegs of different sizes.” That sentence is worth more than the 130-can headline, because it is the only acknowledgement anywhere here that people put things other than 12 oz cans in these. Four shelves in a 3.2 cubic foot cabinet also means you can remove one or two and create a genuinely tall bay for litre bottles, which a fixed-shelf unit cannot do.

The constraint on a water bottle is vertical, not volumetric. Frost forms because every time the door opens, warm humid room air meets a cold evaporator and the moisture freezes onto it. A wine cooler is built around bottle geometry — the racking is spaced for something roughly 12 inches long and 3 inches across, rather than for a 4.83-inch can. That is much closer to the shape of a litre water bottle than a can shelf is, and if your load is genuinely bottles rather than cans, a small wine cooler is a more honest fit than a can fridge with the shelves pulled out.
The caveat is that wine bottles lie down and water bottles do not. Wine racking is designed for horizontal storage to keep the cork wet; water bottles have screw caps and are far happier standing up. Check whether the racks lift out before you commit.

In a small fridge, shelf removal is not a convenience, it is the whole configuration decision. With the shelf in you get two short layers suitable for cans. With it out you get one tall space that will stand litre bottles upright with room to spare. “Up to 32°F below ambient temperature” means this cooler has no target it can hold. A thermoelectric module pumps a roughly fixed amount of heat, so what it delivers is a difference from the room, not a setting. The listing’s own worked example is honest about the consequence: from 86°F it reaches 64°F in an hour. Sixty-four degrees is not cold water. In a 70°F room you might reach the high thirties; in a hot kitchen in August you will not.
What it buys instead is portability, and that is genuine. No compressor means no refrigerant, no orientation restriction and no 24-hour settling period, and it will run from a car socket. It is a travel cooler, and as one it is a reasonable buy.
