Ask anyone who juices kale, spinach or wheatgrass what to buy and the first answer is usually a shape. Get a horizontal one. A long screw lying on its side, fed from a chute at one end, is the format long associated with leaves and grasses. Upright juicers with wide chutes are built mostly to take whole apples and save chopping. The shape is the first thing the buyer of a juicer for greens wants to know.
Read the ten listings on this page and only one of them tells you. SIFENE puts it in the title: “Horizontal Masticating Extractor”. The other nine say “slow masticating”, “cold press”, “triple-stage auger”, “twin” gears in a warranty paragraph, or “hand crank”. None of those words says whether the screw lies flat or stands up.
So the clues have to come from elsewhere. The first is the listed size. Four of the motorised juicers list a length well beyond their height: the Angel AG-5500 is 19.5 inches long and 10.5 inches high assembled, and the Omega J8006HD is 19.69 inches long and 13.0 inches high. That is the outline of something lying down. One listing, a 300-watt juicer with a 5.8-inch chute sold under the VMIXBLE brand, is 16.54 inches tall on a 7.87-inch length, about twice as tall as it is long by our arithmetic, which is the outline of something standing up. Two listings, the SIFENE and the Omega NC900HDC, list dimensions that do not settle it either way, and the SIFENE is the one that says horizontal in words.
The second clue is the gearing, and it splits the page three ways. Six are single-auger masticating juicers: one screw pressing produce against a screen. One, the Angel, is a twin-gear juicer, two interlocking gears crushing between them; its own warranty lists a “Twin Gear” and a “Twin Grinding Gear Bushing”. Three have no motor at all. The Handy Pantry Hurricane, the Luzrise and a Kilixin crank clamp to a worktop and turn by hand.
The third clue is what each listing names. Eight of the ten name wheatgrass. Seven use the phrase “leafy greens”, and the Luzrise names kale, spinach and parsley instead. The two that never mention wheatgrass are the two sold on their chutes: the SIFENE with “DUAL 3 INCH FEED CHUTES” and the VMIXBLE with its 5.8-inch chute for “whole fruits and vegetables without shredding”. The VMIXBLE also holds the best Best Sellers Rank on the page by a wide margin.
Speed is the number every motorised listing likes to quote. Stated speeds run from 57 RPM on the VMIXBLE to 90–110 RPM on the Omega H3000RED. The Angel gives two figures, 82 RPM and 86 rpm, in different bullets. The MEGAWISE gives none. On the three manual juicers, the speed is your arm, and the Hurricane is the only listing on the page to state an output rate: “approximately 1 oz. per minute”.
This guide sorts the ten by what each listing lets you work out about how it handles leaves: the gearing, the shape where it is stated or suggested, the greens and grasses it names, its speed and its warranty. Several listings make health and nutrition claims for their juice; we report what they say about the machine and do not assess those claims. Star ratings and review counts were not captured for this roundup; popularity below is Amazon’s Best Sellers Rank only. If you want a wider view of juicer types first, our best juicer hub sets centrifugal, masticating and citrus machines side by side.
All ten were captured on 5 October 2026. Their overall Best Sellers Ranks run from #15,553 to #395,228, and the only listing that says horizontal sits at #211,012.

Best Sellers Ranks and specifications are taken from each manufacturer’s Amazon listing as displayed on 5 October 2026 through a United States connection, and may change. Mechanism is as stated in each listing, or as Amazon files it where the listing is vague. The Omega H3000RED and the MEGAWISE describe themselves only as slow masticating juicers; Amazon files both under Single Auger Masticating Juicers, so we record them as single auger. The Angel’s twin gear is named in its warranty text rather than its title. Only the SIFENE states its shape; the “tall outline” on the VMIXBLE row is our reading of its listed dimensions, not a listing claim. The Angel gives 82 RPM in its title and one bullet and 86 rpm in another; both are reported. The Hurricane’s figure is an output rate, not a speed. Ranks are overall Best Sellers Ranks as returned on 5 October 2026; Amazon files these ten in three categories, so category ranks compare only within a category. Two juicers were sold by Amazon.com at capture, and four were flagged as scarce stock. Star ratings and review counts were not captured for any product here.

How We Chose These Ten
We researched current listings, compared manufacturer specifications and documentation, and read each listing’s claims about its gearing, its shape, its speed and the produce it names, line by line. We did not carry out hands-on testing, and nothing below is presented as measured performance data. Star ratings and review counts were not captured for this roundup. We used Amazon Best Sellers Rank, buy-box stock and listing specifications instead, and nothing on this page describes or implies how owners have scored these juicers.
- Slow juicers only — every product here is a masticating, twin-gear or hand-crank juicer, the types sold for leaves and grasses. High-speed centrifugal juicers and citrus presses were not in the running.
- Manual juicers included on purpose — three hand-crank wheatgrass juicers are here because wheatgrass is the second half of this search, and because they show the far end of the speed range: no motor at all.
- Greens and grasses recorded exactly as named — we logged whether each listing says “leafy greens”, names particular leaves such as kale or spinach, names wheatgrass, or lists produce it should not take. A green that a listing does not name is recorded as not named, even where the machine might cope.
- Shape only where stated — a juicer is recorded as horizontal or vertical only if its listing says so, and one does. Where we read a likely shape from listed dimensions, the page says it is our reading, and we flag the listings whose dimensions do not settle it.
- Speed, power and warranty as printed — RPM figures, wattages, horsepower claims and warranty terms are quoted from each listing. Where two figures conflict, we report both. Unit conversions and ratios on this page are labelled as our arithmetic.
- Health claims set aside — several listings make claims about nutrients, enzymes or immunity. We do not repeat or assess them; this guide is about the machines.
- Popularity from Best Sellers Rank only — ranks are quoted exactly as returned on 5 October 2026, overall and in the category Amazon assigned. Ranks move constantly.
- Verified stock and seller — each product was the buy-box offer and in stock on amazon.com on 5 October 2026. The Omega H3000RED, the SIFENE, the Hurricane and the Angel were flagged as scarce stock at capture.

The Ten Juicers for Leafy Greens in Detail
1. Omega J8006HD Cold Press Juicer, All-in-One Nutrition System, Triple-Stage 80 RPM, 200W — Best Overall

A triple-stage auger that names leafy greens and wheatgrass, with the longest motor warranty on the page.
Key Specifications
| Mechanism | Triple-stage auger, stated |
|---|---|
| Shape | Not stated; 19.69 in long against 13.0 in high |
| Speed | 80 RPM |
| Power | 200 watts |
| Greens named | Leafy greens and wheatgrass |
| Other uses stated | Baby food, nut butters and milks, pasta, sorbets |
| Listed size | 19.69 L x 7.09 W x 13.0 H in |
| Listed weight | 14.08 pounds |
| Warranty | 15-year motor, 1-year parts |
| Cleaning | Sink rinse or top rack of dishwasher |
| Seller | Amazon.com |
| Best Sellers Rank | #31,631 overall; #30 in Single Auger Masticating Juicers |
Why We Recommend It
This is the Omega that names both halves of the search and backs the motor for 15 years. The first bullet says the “powerful squeezing action of the triple stage auger produces high juice yield from minimum amounts of fruits, vegetables, leafy greens, and wheatgrass”. Of the six single-auger juicers here, it is one of four that name leafy greens and wheatgrass together. Its overall Best Sellers Rank, #31,631, is the best of any juicer on the page that names wheatgrass.
The listing never says horizontal, but the outline does. It lists 19.69 inches long, 7.09 inches wide and 13.0 inches high. That is about one and a half times as long as it is tall, by our arithmetic, the outline of a machine whose screw lies on its side rather than stands in a column. Compare the VMIXBLE upright, which lists 16.54 inches tall on a 7.87-inch length. We cannot confirm the shape from the listing alone, and listed dimensions are sometimes the box rather than the machine. But if you are buying for leaves because you have read that a horizontal auger is the format to want, this is the Omega whose numbers point that way most clearly.
“Triple-stage” describes the screw, not the speed. The listing gives 80 RPM and says the low speed “minimizes heat build-up and oxidation”, which is its claim, not one we assess. What the stage count tells you is that the auger works the produce in more than one pass along its length before the pulp leaves, the same idea as the NC900HDC’s “dual-stage” screw with one stage more. For leaves, which are thin and fibrous, more passes against the screen is the selling point; the listing does not say how many ounces of juice a bunch of kale returns, and nor does any other listing here.
It is the most versatile machine on the page by its own list. “A full wellness system to make baby food, nut butters and milks, pasta and sorbets”. That is the job list of a horizontal masticator with interchangeable nozzles, and it is why the machine is long. If you also make nut butter, our cold press juicer roundup compares more of these all-in-one machines. At 200 watts, it shares the second-highest stated wattage here with the SIFENE; only the VMIXBLE lists more.
Read the warranty line closely. The spec table says “15-Year Manufacturer’s Limited Warranty 15-year motor, 1-year parts”. Fifteen years on the motor is the longest motor term on the page. One year on parts is short, and on a juicer for greens the parts are the auger, the screen and the end cap, the pieces that do the crushing and take the wear. The Angel goes the other way, with 5 years on its twin gear and housing filter. The NC900HDC carries the same 15-and-1 split as this one.
What to weigh. At 14.08 pounds listed it is the heaviest juicer here with a stated weight, so plan a permanent spot on the worktop rather than a cupboard. It is sold by Amazon.com, in stock at capture, and ranks #30 in Single Auger Masticating Juicers. Against the other two Omegas, it buys a third auger stage over the NC900HDC and a stated warranty over the H3000RED; against the Angel, it gives up the twin gear and the all-steel build for a much wider set of jobs.
Pros
- Names leafy greens and wheatgrass
- Triple-stage auger at 80 RPM
- 15-year motor warranty, the longest motor term here
- Sold by Amazon.com
- Best rank of any wheatgrass-naming juicer here
- Baby food, nut butters, pasta and sorbets stated
Cons
- Shape not stated in words
- Parts covered for 1 year only
- 14.08 lb, the heaviest stated weight here
- No yield figure for greens
- 19.69 in long; needs worktop depth
- Speed claims tied to nutrition, not assessed here
Best for: A buyer who juices greens and wheatgrass most days, wants a long motor warranty, and will use the extra nozzles.
2. Angel Juicer AG-5500 Stainless Steel Twin Gear Cold Press Juicer, 82 RPM — Premium Ceiling

The only twin-gear juicer here, all stainless steel, and the clearest picture of what the top of the market buys.
Key Specifications
| Mechanism | Twin gear (named in warranty); SHG helical gear, stated |
|---|---|
| Shape | Not stated; 19.5 in long against 10.5 in high |
| Speed | 82 RPM (title and bullet); 86 rpm (another bullet) |
| Power | “3HP Grinding Force”; watts not stated |
| Greens named | Wheatgrass and vegetables; “leafy greens” not used |
| Material | All parts SUS304 food-grade stainless steel, stated |
| Reverse | Manual reverse, stated |
| Listed size | 19 1/2 L x 7 3/4 W x 10 1/2 H in assembled (size field); width 7.5 in (spec field) |
| Listed weight | Not stated |
| Warranty | 10 years motor, gears, electronics; 5 years twin gear, housing filter |
| Seller | Angel Juicer America; stock scarce |
| Best Sellers Rank | #298,468 overall; #230 in Masticating Juicers |
Why We Recommend It
This is the one juicer here that crushes between two gears instead of pressing with one screw. The listing calls it “SHG (Shattering Helical Gear) Technology” and the warranty names the parts: a “Twin Gear”, a “Twin Grinding Gear Bushing” and a “Housing Filter”. In a twin-gear juicer, produce is drawn between two interlocking gears and squeezed against a screen. It is the format usually reached for by people who juice large amounts of leaves and grasses, and it is the most expensive format on the page by a long way. We treat it here as the ceiling: the point that shows what the rest are working towards, without suggesting every greens juicer needs to go that far.
The outline is long and low. The size field reads “19 1/2″ L x 7 3/4″ W x 10 1/2″ H (Assembled)”, nearly twice as long as it is high, by our arithmetic. That is the longest, lowest proportion of any motorised juicer here, by our arithmetic; only the MEGAWISE is lower in absolute height. The spec fields give the width as 7.5 inches rather than 7 3/4, a small conflict worth noting before you measure a shelf. No weight is listed, which is a gap on a machine sold on being all steel.
It gives two speeds. The title and the SHG bullet say 82 RPM. A later bullet says “the powerful 3 horsepower motor and 86 rpm ensures minimal friction”. Both are slow by the standards of this page, between the Omegas’ 80 RPM and the SIFENE’s 95, so the conflict does not change where it sits. The horsepower figure is labelled “3HP Grinding Force” in the title. Three horsepower would be about 2,240 watts of electrical input, by our arithmetic, far above any wattage stated on the page, so read it as a force claim from the gearing rather than a motor rating. The listing does not state watts.
The steel and the warranty are what the step up buys. “All parts of Angel Juicer AG-5500 are made of food grade stainless steel (SUS304)”, where the Omegas and the SIFENE describe BPA-free plastics for their juice-contact parts. The warranty runs 10 years on the motor, the reduction gears, the main board, the switch panel and the cooling fan, and 5 years on the housing filter, the twin gear and their bushings. That 5 years on the crushing parts is the longest parts term on the page; the Omegas give 1. Wear parts such as brushes, collectors and the silicon sealing ring are excluded, and so is commercial use.
It is built around jams and safety. The AG-5500 has a “MANUAL reverse system to free the jammed ingredients when overloaded”; the listing says the AG-7500 and AG-8500S above it reverse automatically. Six safety features are listed, among them a thermostat against overheating and a “Built-in clutch to prevent damage to engine when a knife, bell or other object ends up in the input shaft”. The listing also claims its juice “can be preserved for 48 hours in the refrigerator”; that is a claim we have not verified.
What to weigh. It names wheatgrass and vegetables but never uses the phrase leafy greens, an odd silence for a format so closely tied to leaves. Nut butters need “Additional accessories”. It ranks #298,468 overall and #230 in Masticating Juicers, was flagged as scarce at capture, and is sold by Angel Juicer America. If you juice greens daily in volume and want stainless parts and a long warranty on the gears, this is the top of the range; if not, the Omega J8006HD covers greens and wheatgrass for far less outlay.
Pros
- The only twin-gear juicer here
- All parts SUS304 stainless steel, stated
- 5-year warranty on twin gear and filter
- 10-year motor and gearbox warranty
- Six safety features listed, including a clutch
- Long, low outline: 19.5 x 10.5 in
Cons
- By far the most expensive juicer here
- Two speeds stated, 82 and 86 rpm
- Weight and wattage not stated
- Reverse is manual, not automatic
- “Leafy greens” never named
- Stock scarce at capture
Best for: A heavy daily greens and wheatgrass juicer who wants stainless steel throughout and a long warranty on the crushing parts.
3. Luzrise Manual Wheatgrass Juicer and Fruit Press, 304 Stainless Steel — Best Manual

A hand crank that tells you exactly which greens it takes, which produce it refuses, and how long it is covered.
Key Specifications
| Mechanism | Hand crank, clamp mount |
|---|---|
| Shape | Not stated; 13.0 in long against 5.5 in high |
| Speed | Hand-turned |
| Greens named | Wheatgrass, celery, kale, spinach, parsley |
| Not suitable, stated | Carrot, mango, banana, tomato, sugarcane |
| Material | 304 stainless steel, mirror polished |
| Clamp limit | Table up to 5.5 cm / 2.1 in thick |
| Listed size | 13.0 L x 9.5 W x 5.5 H in |
| Listed weight | 5.75 lb (rounded from the listed 5.74965579296) |
| Warranty | Two years; lifetime online support, stated |
| Seller | Luzrise |
| Best Sellers Rank | #311,042 overall; #558 in Manual Juicers |
Why We Recommend It
This is the most candid listing on the page. Its first bullet says the juicer is “suitable for wheatgrass, celery, kale, spinach, parsley, pomegranate, apple, grape, orange etc. but NOT suitable for carrot, mango, banana, tomato or sugarcane”. No other listing here names what it cannot do in such plain terms. For a buyer who wants a juicer for leaves and grasses specifically, that list is useful twice over: it confirms the greens, and it warns you off the hard roots and soft pulpy fruit that a small hand-turned screw is not made for.
It names the greens individually rather than in a phrase. Kale, spinach, parsley, celery and wheatgrass are all in the first bullet. Seven listings here say “leafy greens” and stop; the Luzrise says which ones. That is more specific than any motorised listing on the page except the MEGAWISE, which names kale alongside wheatgrass.
The method is set out like an instruction sheet. Apples and pears should be cut “into small pieces of about 2cm/0.8″ first”, hard skins peeled, and “To prevent clogging of the slag outlet and for higher juice yield, please juice in small quantities repeatedly”. That is how hand-crank juicers work in general: small handfuls, steady turns, pulp out of one spout and juice out of another. For wheatgrass, which comes in thin bundles, small feeds are natural; for apples, it means chopping. No output rate is given, unlike the Hurricane’s 1 ounce a minute.
The clamp sets where you can use it. “Please note that the thickness of the table should not exceed 5.5cm/2.1 inches, and please leave enough space for the rotation of the handle.” The Hurricane’s limit is 2 1/4 inches, a little more; the Kilixin gives none. Measure your worktop edge before you order, including any lip or trim underneath. At 13.0 inches long and 5.5 inches high it is a low, compact tool, and the listed weight of about 5.75 pounds means it will not slide about once clamped.
Steel and a warranty are the other selling points. It is “made of high-quality 304 stainless steel” with a mirror polish, and it comes apart “into several small parts, conducive to deep cleaning”, with a reminder to dry it after washing. The listing offers “a two-year free warranty” and lifetime online consulting with a reply “within 24 hours”. It is the only one of the three manual juicers to state a warranty, and one of four juicers on the whole page to do so. The listing also makes a nutrition claim for vegetable juice, which we do not assess.
What to weigh. It ranks #311,042 overall and #558 in Manual Juicers, and is sold by the brand. Against the Hurricane, it adds a warranty, named leafy greens and a stated exclusion list; against the Kilixin, a clamp limit, a weight and a warranty. If you mainly juice wheatgrass and leaves and do not mind turning a handle, it is the best-documented hand juicer on the page.
Pros
- Names kale, spinach, parsley, celery and wheatgrass
- States what it cannot juice
- 2-year warranty, the only one among the manuals
- 304 stainless steel, stated
- Clamp limit stated: 2.1 in
- No electricity needed
Cons
- Not for carrots, by its own listing
- Apples must be cut to about 2 cm
- No output rate stated
- Needs a table edge under 2.1 in
- Small feeds only, by its own instructions
- Low rank: #311,042 overall
Best for: A wheatgrass and leafy-greens juicer who wants a hand crank with a warranty and a clear list of what it will and will not take.
4. Omega H3000RED Cold Press 365 Slow Masticating Juicer, 150W, Red — Lightest Omega

The lightest Omega here names leafy greens and wheatgrass, quotes the fastest speed range, and states no warranty.
Key Specifications
| Mechanism | Slow masticating; Amazon files it as single auger |
|---|---|
| Shape | Not stated; 17.96 in long against 13.27 in high |
| Speed | 90–110 RPM |
| Power | 150 watts |
| Greens named | Celery, carrots, leafy greens, wheatgrass |
| Material | BPA-free, stated |
| Listed size | 17.96 L x 6.7 W x 13.27 H in |
| Listed weight | 8.76 pounds |
| Warranty | Not stated |
| Cleaning | Most removable parts top rack dishwasher safe, excluding drum |
| Seller | always quality; stock scarce |
| Best Sellers Rank | #115,679 overall; #97 in Single Auger Masticating Juicers |
Why We Recommend It
This is the compact Omega, and it names the right produce. “Easily extract juices from celery, carrots, leafy greens and other fruits, vegetables, or wheatgrass”. Celery, carrots, greens and wheatgrass in one sentence covers most of what people put through a greens juicer, and carrots are exactly what the Luzrise refuses. The title adds “Leafy Green High Juice Yield”, and the Kilixin is the only other title on the page to use the words leafy green.
The listing never says what kind of screw it has. It calls itself a “Slow Masticating Extractor”, and Amazon files it under Single Auger Masticating Juicers, so we treat it as a single auger. No stage count is given, where the J8006HD says triple and the NC900HDC says dual. The outline, 17.96 inches long against 13.27 inches high, is about 1.35 times as long as it is tall by our arithmetic: longer than tall, like the J8006HD, but less markedly so. The listing does not say horizontal.
Its speed is the highest stated on the page. “Slow speed masticating technology juices at 90-110 RPM”. That is a range rather than a figure, and its top end is above the SIFENE’s 95 and well above the 80 RPM of the other two Omegas. All of these are slow next to a centrifugal juicer, and the listing ties the low speed to less heat and oxidation; we report that as the listing’s claim. Its second bullet is a health claim, which this guide does not assess.
It is the lightest motorised Omega by a wide margin. The listing gives 8.76 pounds and 150 watts, against 14.08 pounds and 200 watts for the J8006HD and 13.0 pounds for the NC900HDC. If the juicer has to come out of a cupboard and go back after each use, that difference is felt every morning. Cleaning is “easy with a rinse, and most removable parts are top rack dishwasher safe (excluding drum)”; the drum is the housing the auger turns in, so that part goes in the sink.
The paperwork is thin. No warranty is stated anywhere in the listing, where the two larger Omegas both carry 15 years on the motor and 1 year on parts. The seller at capture was a third party listed as “always quality”, not Omega or Amazon.com, and stock was flagged as scarce. Before you buy, it is worth asking the seller whether Omega’s warranty applies to a unit bought through them.
What to weigh. It ranks #115,679 overall and #97 in Single Auger Masticating Juicers, third among the Omegas. It is the Omega to choose if a lighter machine matters more to you than a written warranty or a stage count. If you want both of those, the J8006HD supplies them at the cost of an extra five pounds and a longer footprint.
Pros
- Names celery, carrots, leafy greens and wheatgrass
- Lightest Omega at 8.76 lb listed
- Most parts top rack dishwasher safe
- BPA-free, stated
- Leafy green named in the title
- Longer than tall by its listed size
Cons
- No warranty stated
- Third-party seller; stock scarce at capture
- Stage count and screw type not stated
- Highest stated speed range, 90–110 RPM
- Drum is hand wash
- Health claim in the bullets, not assessed
Best for: A buyer who wants an Omega for greens, carrots and wheatgrass that is light enough to put away after each use.
5. Omega NC900HDC Juicer and Nutrition System, Dual-Stage 80 RPM, Five Pressure Settings, 150W — Most Adjustable

A dual-stage auger with five pressure settings, the only adjustable outlet on the page.
Key Specifications
| Mechanism | Dual-stage masticating auger, stated |
|---|---|
| Shape | Not stated; listed size does not settle it |
| Speed | 80 RPM |
| Power | 150 watts; gear reduction “equivalent to a 2HP motor” |
| Greens named | Leafy greens and wheatgrass; herbs minced |
| Adjustment | End cap with 5 pressure settings |
| Pulp | Automatic pulp ejection |
| Listed size | 6.5 L x 14.5 W x 15.5 H in |
| Listed weight | 13.0 pounds |
| Warranty | 15-year motor, 1-year parts |
| Seller | Woot |
| Best Sellers Rank | #71,700 overall; #54 in Masticating Juicers |
Why We Recommend It
This is the only juicer here that lets you change how hard it presses. “Features 5 pressure settings designed to ensure maximum juice output and extraction”, through an adjustable end cap where the pulp leaves. On a single-auger juicer, the end cap is the last resistance the pulp meets, and tightening it holds produce against the screen longer. Leaves and fibrous stalks such as celery are where that adjustment is typically used; soft fruit typically wants it looser. No other listing on the page offers anything similar.
It names leafy greens and wheatgrass, with a stage count. “Dual-stage masticating technology to extract the maximum amount of nutrients, vitamins, flavor and juice from minimal amounts of fruits, vegetables, leafy greens, and wheatgrass”. Dual-stage is one pass fewer than the J8006HD’s triple. The speed is the same, 80 RPM, and so is the warranty split: “15-year motor, 1-year parts”.
Its listed dimensions do not settle its shape. The fields give 6.5 inches long, 14.5 inches wide and 15.5 inches high. Read literally, that is taller than it is long, the opposite of the other two Omegas. Read as a machine whose longest side has been entered as width, it is 14.5 inches across and 15.5 inches high with an “extra-large feed tray” on top. The listing does not say horizontal or vertical, and we cannot tell from these fields which reading is right. It is a useful warning about the method on this page: listed size is a clue, not a confirmation.
The power line needs reading carefully. The title says 150 watts. The bullets describe “a powerful but quiet gear reduction equivalent to a 2HP motor”. Two horsepower would be about 1,490 watts of input, by our arithmetic, roughly ten times the stated wattage, so the figure is a torque comparison from the gearbox, not the motor’s rating. The Angel makes the same kind of claim with 3HP. What matters for leaves is torque at low speed, and both listings are telling you, in marketing terms, that they have it.
The job list is as long as the J8006HD’s. “Turn nuts into nut butter, extrude pasta, grind coffee and spices, mince herbs and garlic, make baby food and frozen desserts, and quickly whip up soy milk”. Mincing herbs is the one listed job on the page that sits right next to juicing greens. An “automatic pulp ejection system” lets you juice continuously, and there is a built-in handle for moving its 13.0 pounds.
What to weigh. It was sold by Woot at capture, not Omega or Amazon.com, so confirm the warranty applies. It ranks #71,700 overall and #54 in Masticating Juicers. Choose it over the J8006HD if the pressure settings matter more to you than the third auger stage; otherwise the J8006HD is the better-documented machine and the easier one to buy.
Pros
- Five pressure settings, the only adjustable outlet here
- Names leafy greens and wheatgrass
- 15-year motor warranty
- Dual-stage auger at 80 RPM
- Minces herbs and garlic, stated
- Automatic pulp ejection; built-in handle
Cons
- Parts covered for 1 year only
- Listed dimensions do not settle its shape
- Sold by Woot at capture
- 150 W; the 2HP line is a gearbox comparison
- One auger stage fewer than the J8006HD
- 13.0 lb to move
Best for: A greens juicer who wants to tune the pressure for kale, celery and soft fruit, and will use the extra nozzles.
6. SIFENE Cold Press Juicer, Horizontal Masticating Extractor, JS3105, Gray — Only Stated Horizontal

The one listing that says horizontal, with two feed chutes and a reverse button, and no word of wheatgrass.
Key Specifications
| Mechanism | Single auger (Amazon category) |
|---|---|
| Shape | Horizontal, stated in title |
| Speed | 95 RPM |
| Power | 200W DC motor |
| Feed chutes | Dual 3 inch openings |
| Greens named | Leafy greens, celery, ginger; wheatgrass not named |
| Reverse | Yes, stated |
| Listed size | 16.94 L x 6.7 W x 16.55 H in |
| Listed weight | 10.56 pounds |
| Warranty | Not stated |
| Seller | MMC Electric; stock scarce |
| Best Sellers Rank | #211,012 overall; #159 in Single Auger Masticating Juicers |
Why We Recommend It
This is the only juicer on the page that tells you which way it lies. The title reads “SIFENE Cold Press Juicer Machine, Horizontal Masticating Extractor”. For a buyer who has been told to get a horizontal juicer for greens, that word is the reason to look here first. No other listing uses horizontal or vertical anywhere in its title, bullets or spec fields.
Its listed size would not have told you. The fields give 16.94 inches long and 16.55 inches high, almost exactly as tall as it is long by our arithmetic. Two round chutes on top of a horizontal body would explain the height, but the point stands: if the only listing that states its shape has near-square dimensions, then dimensions alone cannot confirm a shape for the others. We use them on this page as a clue and say so each time.
It is built around two chutes. “The dual wide feed openings help you load whole apples on one side and longer produce like celery or carrots on the other with less cutting before juicing.” Each is stated at 3 inches. A wide chute saves chopping for apples; for leaves, the chute width matters less than how the screw takes them in, and the usual technique with a horizontal auger is to roll leaves and feed them alongside something firmer. The listing does not describe that, and gives no greens method of its own.
Greens appear once, in the reverse bullet. “The reverse setting helps clear the auger more easily when working through celery, ginger, leafy greens, and other dense ingredients.” A reverse function is exactly what leaves need, because long fibres can wrap a screw and stall it. The Angel has a manual reverse; the Omegas do not mention one. What the SIFENE never mentions is wheatgrass. With the VMIXBLE, it is one of the two listings on the page that does not, and the two are the two sold on their chutes.
It is the only listing to name a DC motor. “200W DC QUIET MOTOR WITH HIGH TORQUE”, turning at “95 RPM”. 200 watts matches the J8006HD, and 95 RPM sits inside the H3000RED’s 90–110 range. Juice-contact parts are “BPA-free”, and a cleaning brush is included.
What to weigh. No warranty is stated. It was sold by MMC Electric, flagged as scarce stock, and ranks #211,012 overall and #159 in Single Auger Masticating Juicers. It weighs 10.56 pounds as listed. Choose it if a stated horizontal format and a reverse button are what you are shopping for, and if wheatgrass is not on your list; if wheatgrass is, ask the seller before you order, or pick a listing that names it.
Pros
- The only listing that states horizontal
- Reverse function for clearing fibres
- Dual 3 inch feed chutes
- 200W DC motor at 95 RPM
- BPA-free juice-contact parts; brush included
- Names leafy greens, celery and ginger
Cons
- Wheatgrass never named
- No warranty stated
- Stock scarce at capture
- Near-square listed size; needs headroom
- No greens method described
- Low rank: #211,012 overall
Best for: A buyer who wants a juicer stated as horizontal, with reverse for fibrous greens, and does not juice wheatgrass.
7. MEGAWISE Cold Press Juicer, Slow Masticating Juicer with High Yield, SJ250I, Black — Lowest Profile

It names kale and wheatgrass, sits lowest of the motorised juicers, and states no speed, wattage or weight.
Key Specifications
| Mechanism | Slow masticating; Amazon files it as single auger |
|---|---|
| Shape | Not stated; 14.6 in long against 9.3 in high |
| Speed | Not stated |
| Power | Not stated |
| Greens named | Leafy greens, kale, wheatgrass, carrots |
| Listed size | 14.6 L x 7.5 W x 9.3 H in |
| Listed weight | Not stated |
| Cleaning | Dishwasher-safe parts, stated |
| Warranty | Not stated |
| Seller | Amazon.com |
| Best Sellers Rank | #235,313 overall; #174 in Single Auger Masticating Juicers |
Why We Recommend It
This listing names the right produce and almost no numbers. “Works with carrots, wheatgrass, kale, fruits, vegetables, and more.” Another bullet adds that the auger “extracts more juice from fruits, vegetables, and leafy greens”. Kale and wheatgrass together, named outright, is as specific as any motorised listing here gets. Then the listing stops. There is no RPM, no wattage, no weight and no warranty.
The outline is the lowest of any motorised juicer. 14.6 inches long, 7.5 inches wide and 9.3 inches high, about 1.57 times as long as it is tall, by our arithmetic. That is a long, low shape, closer to the Angel’s proportions than to the upright VMIXBLE. The listing calls it “Space-saving design”, and at 9.3 inches it is the lowest motorised juicer on the page, the easiest to feed under a wall cupboard. It does not say horizontal.
“Slow” without a figure is hard to compare. “Low-speed squeezing helps preserve juice flavor, vitamins, and nutrients”, says the first bullet, without saying how low. Every other motorised listing gives at least one number, from 57 RPM to 110. The missing wattage is the larger gap for greens, because a fibrous load such as kale stems asks most of the motor, and the listing gives you nothing to judge it by. The only power claim is “Powerful auger”.
Cleaning and noise are stated in general terms. “Quiet operation with dishwasher-safe parts for convenient daily use.” No reverse function is mentioned, which matters for leaves: if fibres wrap the auger, a reverse button is the quick way to clear them, and the SIFENE and Angel both have one.
The seller is the reassurance. It was sold by Amazon.com at capture, one of only two juicers on the page with Amazon.com in the buy box, which makes returns straightforward if it does not suit your greens. It ranks #235,313 overall and #174 in Single Auger Masticating Juicers.
What to weigh. Buy it if low height and an Amazon.com seller matter, and if the named kale and wheatgrass are enough for you to go on. Ask the seller for the speed, the wattage and the warranty before you treat it as a daily greens machine; the J8006HD, also sold by Amazon.com, states all three.
Pros
- Names kale, wheatgrass, leafy greens and carrots
- Lowest motorised unit at 9.3 in high
- Sold by Amazon.com
- Dishwasher-safe parts, stated
- Long, low outline by listed size
- Quiet operation, stated
Cons
- No speed stated
- No wattage stated
- No weight stated
- No warranty stated
- No reverse function mentioned
- Low rank: #235,313 overall
Best for: A buyer with little headroom who wants a low juicer that names kale and wheatgrass and is sold by Amazon.com.
8. VMIXBLE Cold Press Juicer with 5.8 Inch Wide Feed Chute, 300W Slow Masticating, MP-802V — Best Ranked

The best-selling juicer on the page is upright, built around whole fruit, and never mentions wheatgrass.
Key Specifications
| Mechanism | Single auger (Amazon category) |
|---|---|
| Shape | Not stated; 16.54 in high against 7.87 in long |
| Speed | 57 RPM |
| Power | 300 watts |
| Feed chute | 5.8 inches |
| Greens named | Leafy greens, celery; wheatgrass not named |
| Yield claim | Up to 99%, no basis given |
| Listed size | 7.87 L x 8.86 W x 16.54 H in |
| Listed weight | 3.7 pounds |
| Safety | Stops when the lid is opened |
| Warranty | Not stated |
| Seller | Ymeng Shop; brand VMIXBLE |
| Best Sellers Rank | #15,553 overall; #15 in Single Auger Masticating Juicers |
Why We Recommend It
This is the best-selling juicer on the page, and it is the least like a classic greens juicer. Its overall Best Sellers Rank, #15,553, is about twice as good as the next best, the J8006HD at #31,631, and its category rank, #15 in Single Auger Masticating Juicers, is the best here. The pitch is chute width: “This Cold Press Juicer features a 5.8 inch larger feed chute that fits whole fruits and vegetables without shredding. Juice apples, oranges, celery, and more directly.”
Its outline is the one upright shape on the page. The listing gives 16.54 inches high on a 7.87-inch length and an 8.86-inch width: about twice as tall as it is long, by our arithmetic. A wide chute on top of a tall column is the standard layout of a vertical slow juicer, where gravity feeds produce down onto the screw. The listing does not use the word vertical, so this is our reading. It is also the only juicer here built in that pattern, which makes it the useful comparison for everything else.
Greens are mentioned; wheatgrass is not. The first bullet says “The high-torque design efficiently processes leafy greens, fruits, and vegetables”. That is the only reference to greens, and there is none to wheatgrass anywhere. The general view among juicer makers is that upright, wide-chute machines suit whole fruit and firm vegetables best, and that thin leaves and grasses feed more steadily into a horizontal screw or twin gears. The listing does not claim otherwise, and it does not describe how to feed leaves.
Its numbers are the extremes of the page. 300 watts is the highest stated wattage here, half as much again as the J8006HD, by our arithmetic. 57 RPM is the slowest stated speed. And 3.7 pounds is the lightest listed weight of any motorised juicer, less than half of the H3000RED’s 8.76; the listing does not say whether that is the machine alone. The claim of “up to 99% juice yield” gives no basis, no produce and no method, so we cannot compare it with anything.
The convenience claims are its real case. “Easy 3-step assembly and quick disassembly”, and “easy to clean in 5 seconds after daily use”, a figure that will depend on what you have just juiced. There is a lid safety stop: “safety protection that stops operation when the lid is opened”. For mixed fruit and vegetable juice with a handful of greens added, that ease is what most buyers are paying for, and the rank suggests many do.
What to weigh. The brand is VMIXBLE and the seller at capture was Ymeng Shop. No warranty is stated. Buy it if your juice is mostly apples, carrots and celery with some leaves, and fast prep matters most. If greens and wheatgrass are the main event, the listings that name both, and the one stated horizontal, are better matched to the job; if you would rather keep the fibre, a blender is the other route.
Pros
- Best rank here: #15,553 overall
- 5.8 inch chute takes whole fruit
- 300 W, the highest stated wattage
- 57 RPM, the slowest stated speed
- Lid safety stop, stated
- Three-step assembly
Cons
- Wheatgrass never named
- Upright outline, by our reading
- No warranty stated
- 99% yield claim has no basis given
- 3.7 lb listed; basis not stated
- Third-party seller
Best for: A buyer whose juice is mostly whole fruit and firm vegetables with some greens, and who values quick prep and cleaning.
9. Handy Pantry HJ Hurricane Stainless Steel Manual Wheatgrass Juicer — Only Stated Output

A hand crank for grasses, and the only listing that tells you how much juice to expect per minute.
Key Specifications
| Mechanism | Hand crank, clamp mount |
|---|---|
| Shape | Not stated; 11.81 in long against 5.2 in high |
| Output | Approximately 1 oz per minute, stated |
| Greens named | Wheatgrass and barleygrass; leafy greens not named |
| Other produce | Soft fruits and vegetables |
| Material | Stainless steel, stated |
| Clamp limit | Countertops up to 2 1/4 in thick |
| Listed size | 11.81 L x 8.5 W x 5.2 H in |
| Listed weight | 6.79 pounds |
| Warranty | Not stated |
| Seller | True Leaf Market; stock scarce |
| Best Sellers Rank | #224,025 overall; #418 in Manual Juicers |
Why We Recommend It
This is the only listing on the page that gives you an output rate. “Juices Wheatgrass & Barleygrass amazingly well”, it says, and then: “Juices approximately 1 oz. per minute”. Every motorised listing quotes a speed in RPM, which tells you how fast the screw turns but not how much juice comes out. The Hurricane tells you the second thing. An 8-ounce glass of wheatgrass juice is about 8 minutes of turning at that rate, by our arithmetic, and a 1-ounce shot, the usual wheatgrass serving, about one.
It is a grass juicer first. The bullets name wheatgrass and barleygrass, then add “Also Juices soft fruits & vegetables”. They never say leafy greens, kale or spinach, which is why it sits behind the Luzrise and the Kilixin for the leafy half of this search. A crank built for grass may well take soft leaves, but the listing does not commit to it, and on this page we hold listings to what they say.
It clamps to a thicker worktop than the others. “Easily Mounts To Countertops – Fits Countertops up to 2 1/4″ Thick”, against 2.1 inches on the Luzrise and no figure on the Kilixin. The listing pitches it as “Lightweight & Portable – Great for RV & Travel”. At 6.79 pounds listed and 11.81 by 8.5 by 5.2 inches, it is the heavier of the two hand cranks that list a weight, which helps it stay put while you turn.
Steel and cleaning are stated plainly. “Stainless Steel Construction – Easy to Operate – Easy to Clean – Dishwasher Safe”. It is the only manual juicer here to say dishwasher safe in so many words. The Luzrise specifies 304 stainless steel; the Hurricane does not give a grade.
Read the fifth bullet before you order. “International products have separate terms, are sold from abroad and may differ from local products, including fit, age ratings, and language of product, labeling or instructions.” That is a standard notice, but it means the unit may ship from overseas, and no warranty is stated in the listing. The seller at capture was True Leaf Market, and stock was flagged as scarce.
What to weigh. It ranks #224,025 overall and #418 in Manual Juicers, the best manual rank on the page. Choose it if wheatgrass and barleygrass are the whole job, and you value a stated output and a thicker clamp range. For kale and spinach named in writing, and a warranty, the Luzrise is the better-documented hand crank.
Pros
- Only stated output rate: about 1 oz per minute
- Wheatgrass and barleygrass named
- Clamps to countertops up to 2 1/4 in
- Dishwasher safe, stated
- Best manual rank: #418 in Manual Juicers
- No electricity needed
Cons
- Leafy greens not named
- Soft fruits and vegetables only
- No warranty stated
- May ship from abroad, per its listing
- Stock scarce at capture
- Steel grade not stated
Best for: A wheatgrass or barleygrass juicer who wants a simple hand-crank format and a stated output rate.
10. Kilixin Manual Wheatgrass Juicer, Stainless Steel Hand Crank for Wheatgrass and Leafy Greens — Most Compact Crank

The smallest juicer here names leafy greens, spinach, baby kale and wheatgrass, and states little else.
Key Specifications
| Mechanism | Hand crank |
|---|---|
| Shape | Not stated |
| Speed | Hand-turned |
| Greens named | Wheatgrass, leafy greens, spinach, baby kale, celery |
| Not suitable, stated | Sugarcane |
| Material | Stainless steel, stated |
| Clamp limit | Not stated |
| Listed size | 4.0 L x 8.0 W x 8.0 H in |
| Listed weight | Not stated |
| Warranty | Not stated |
| Seller | YC2022; brand Kilixin, made by Zhanfeng Trading |
| Best Sellers Rank | #395,228 overall; #684 in Manual Juicers |
Why We Recommend It
This listing’s title does most of the work. “Manual Wheatgrass Juicer, Stainless Steel Hand Crank for Wheatgrass & Leafy Green, Hand Fruit& Vegetables Squeezer, Cold Press Juicer for Spinach, Baby Kale, Apples, Pomegranates, Celery, Ginger, etc.” Wheatgrass, leafy greens, spinach and baby kale in one title is the most direct match to this search of any listing here. It is one of five that name both leafy greens and wheatgrass.
It is the smallest juicer on the page. The listed size is 4.0 by 8.0 by 8.0 inches, a fraction of the Hurricane’s 11.81-inch length. The bullets call it a “Space-Saving Design”, “ideal for use at home, in the office, or on the go”. For a single daily shot of wheatgrass, a tool that lives in a drawer is a real advantage over a 14-pound machine on the worktop.
The method notes are about apples, and they are telling. The first bullet advises buying “crisp juicy apples”, peeling them and cutting them “into small pieces then add them in small quantities to avoid clogging”. That is the same advice the Luzrise gives, and it tells you where a small hand crank struggles: firm fruit, not leaves. It excludes only sugarcane by name, a shorter exclusion list than the Luzrise’s, which also rules out carrots, mango, banana and tomato.
Cleaning comes with a practical tip. “If the filter / strainer is difficult to remove, inserting the head of a pair of scissors into the filter / strainer hole can help dislodge it easily.” A strainer that can stick is a detail worth knowing, and few listings would print it. The parts are “simple to take apart for cleaning”; dishwasher use is not mentioned.
The gaps are large. There is no weight, no clamp thickness, no warranty and no steel grade beyond “premium stainless steel”. The listing does not say whether it clamps at all; the other two hand cranks do. The brand is Kilixin, the manufacturer field says Zhanfeng Trading, and the seller at capture was YC2022, three different names on one product.
What to weigh. It ranks #395,228 overall and #684 in Manual Juicers, the lowest on the page. Buy it if size is the deciding factor and you want leafy greens and wheatgrass named in the title. Ask how it mounts before you order, and if you want a clamp limit and a warranty in writing, the Luzrise states both.
Pros
- Names wheatgrass, leafy greens, spinach and baby kale
- Smallest outline: 4 x 8 x 8 in
- Stainless steel, stated
- Excludes only sugarcane by name
- Practical strainer-removal tip
- No electricity needed
Cons
- No weight stated
- No clamp limit or mounting detail
- No warranty stated
- Steel grade not stated
- Apples must be peeled and cut small
- Lowest rank here: #395,228 overall
Best for: A daily wheatgrass-shot drinker who wants the smallest hand juicer that names leafy greens and stores in a drawer.
One Says Horizontal, Nine Leave You to Guess
The most common advice for a greens juicer is about shape, and only the SIFENE states one. For the other nine, listed dimensions are the only clue. The table below sets each listed length against its listed height. The ratio column is our arithmetic, and the reading in the last column is ours too. Listed dimensions can describe the box rather than the machine, and fields are sometimes entered in a different order, so treat this as a sorting aid, not a measurement.
| Juicer | Shape stated | Listed length | Listed height | Length to height (ours) | Our reading |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Angel AG-5500 | Not stated | 19.5 in | 10.5 in | About 1.86 | Long and low |
| MEGAWISE | Not stated | 14.6 in | 9.3 in | About 1.57 | Long and low |
| Omega J8006HD | Not stated | 19.69 in | 13.0 in | About 1.51 | Long |
| Omega H3000RED | Not stated | 17.96 in | 13.27 in | About 1.35 | Longer than tall |
| SIFENE | Horizontal | 16.94 in | 16.55 in | About 1.02 | Near square, despite the stated shape |
| Omega NC900HDC | Not stated | 6.5 in (width 14.5 in) | 15.5 in | About 0.42, or 0.94 using width | Unsettled |
| VMIXBLE | Not stated | 7.87 in | 16.54 in | About 0.48 | Tall and upright |
| Luzrise (manual) | Not stated | 13.0 in | 5.5 in | About 2.36 | Low crank |
| Hurricane (manual) | Not stated | 11.81 in | 5.2 in | About 2.27 | Low crank |
| Kilixin (manual) | Not stated | 4.0 in | 8.0 in | About 0.5 | Compact; unclear |
Four motorised juicers read as lying down. The Angel, the MEGAWISE, the J8006HD and the H3000RED all list a length at least a third greater than their height. That is the outline of a screw on its side, fed from a chute at one end. None of the four says so, but the numbers point the same way, and three of the four name wheatgrass alongside greens, which is consistent with the format.
One reads as standing up, and it is the best seller. The VMIXBLE lists itself at about twice as tall as it is long, with a 5.8-inch chute on top. That is the shape of a vertical slow juicer, built for whole fruit. It never mentions wheatgrass, and it holds the best rank on the page, #15,553 overall.
Two cannot be settled from their fields. The NC900HDC’s figures read either as tall and narrow or as roughly square, depending on which field you treat as its length. The SIFENE says horizontal in its title but lists dimensions that are almost square. That one case is the reason this table is labelled a clue: the only listing that states its shape would not have been identified by its size.
Why shape matters for leaves. The conventional reasoning is simple. Leaves are thin, light and fibrous. In a horizontal auger, they are pushed along a long screw and squeezed against a screen over its full length. In a vertical juicer, they drop onto a shorter screw by gravity, where long fibres can wrap and slow the feed, which is why upright makers sell wide chutes for whole fruit and why reverse buttons exist. That is general juicer design, not a measurement of these ten, and we have not tested any of them. It is also why a listing that states its shape, or gives you a reverse function, is worth more to a greens buyer than one that only says slow.

Single Auger, Twin Gear or Hand Crank
Shape is one half of how a juicer handles leaves. The other half is what does the crushing. The ten listings split into three mechanisms, and each has a different relationship with greens.
| Mechanism | Juicers | How it crushes | Speed on this page | Warranty on the crushing parts |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Single auger | J8006HD, H3000RED, NC900HDC, SIFENE, MEGAWISE, VMIXBLE | One screw presses produce against a screen | 57 to 110 RPM; MEGAWISE not stated | 1 year on two Omegas; others not stated |
| Twin gear | Angel AG-5500 | Two interlocking gears crush between them | 82 RPM and 86 rpm | 5 years on twin gear and housing filter |
| Hand crank | Luzrise, Hurricane, Kilixin | A hand-turned screw presses against a strainer | Your arm; Hurricane states about 1 oz per minute | 2 years on the Luzrise; others not stated |
Six single augers, and three of them describe their screw. The J8006HD says triple-stage, the NC900HDC dual-stage, and the SIFENE gives the screw a reverse function. The H3000RED, the MEGAWISE and the VMIXBLE say only slow masticating, and Amazon’s category is what tells you there is one auger. For leaves, the useful details are a stage count, an adjustable end cap and a reverse button. The NC900HDC is the only one with an adjustable cap; the SIFENE is the only single auger with a stated reverse.
One twin gear, at the top of the market. The Angel is the only listing here with two gears, and it is by far the most expensive juicer on the page. It is all SUS304 stainless steel, has a manual reverse, and carries 5 years on the twin gear. We include it as the ceiling, so the rest can be read against it, not because a greens juicer needs to go that far.
Three hand cranks, all sold on wheatgrass. Every manual juicer here has wheatgrass in its title, and two name leafy greens or particular leaves. They need no power, clamp or sit on a worktop, and work in small feeds. Their limits are stated plainly: the Luzrise refuses carrots, mango, banana, tomato and sugarcane; the Hurricane lists soft fruits and vegetables; the Kilixin excludes sugarcane and asks for apples cut small.
What Each Listing Says About Greens and Wheatgrass
Every listing on the page is sold as suitable for greens or grasses in some form. What varies is how specifically. Here is the produce each names, in its own words, and what it rules out.
| Juicer | “Leafy greens” | Named leaves or stalks | Wheatgrass | Ruled out |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Omega J8006HD | Yes | None named | Yes | None stated |
| Angel AG-5500 | No | “Vegetables” | Yes | None stated |
| Luzrise | No | Kale, spinach, parsley, celery | Yes | Carrot, mango, banana, tomato, sugarcane |
| Omega H3000RED | Yes | Celery, carrots | Yes | None stated |
| Omega NC900HDC | Yes | Herbs (minced) | Yes | None stated |
| SIFENE | Yes | Celery, ginger | No | None stated |
| MEGAWISE | Yes | Kale, carrots | Yes | None stated |
| VMIXBLE | Yes | Celery | No | None stated |
| Hurricane | No | Barleygrass; soft vegetables | Yes | None stated; lists soft produce only |
| Kilixin | Yes | Spinach, baby kale, celery, ginger | Yes | Sugarcane |
Eight name wheatgrass; the two that do not are the two sold on chutes. The SIFENE’s pitch is its dual 3-inch chutes and the VMIXBLE’s its 5.8-inch chute. Neither mentions wheatgrass anywhere. Wide chutes exist to take whole apples, and wheatgrass needs no chute width at all, so the silence fits the design. If wheatgrass is on your list, those are the two listings to ask about before you buy.
Five name leafy greens and wheatgrass together. The J8006HD, the H3000RED, the NC900HDC, the MEGAWISE and the Kilixin. The Luzrise belongs with them in substance, naming kale, spinach and parsley rather than the phrase. That makes six listings that commit in writing to both halves of this search.
Two name wheatgrass but not leaves. The Angel says vegetables, fruit and wheatgrass, and the Hurricane says wheatgrass, barleygrass and soft produce. Both are formats generally associated with leaves, so the silence is more likely a gap in the copy than a limit of the machine, but on this page a green that is not named is recorded as not named.
Only two rule anything out by name, and both are hand cranks. The Luzrise and the Kilixin. The motorised listings rule nothing out. That does not mean they take everything; it means their copy does not say. For the best juicer for vegetables in general, roots like carrots and beetroot included, the motorised augers are the safer reading, and three of them name carrots outright.
RPM, Watts and the Horsepower Claims
Every motorised listing but one leads with speed, and the figures are close together. Power figures are less consistent, and two listings quote horsepower as a grinding-force claim. Here is what each states, with our arithmetic marked.
| Juicer | Speed stated | Watts stated | Other power claim | Listed weight |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| VMIXBLE | 57 RPM | 300 W | “high-torque design” | 3.7 lb |
| Omega J8006HD | 80 RPM | 200 W | None | 14.08 lb |
| Omega NC900HDC | 80 RPM | 150 W | “equivalent to a 2HP motor” | 13.0 lb |
| Angel AG-5500 | 82 RPM and 86 rpm | Not stated | “3HP Grinding Force” | Not stated |
| SIFENE | 95 RPM | 200 W DC | “HIGH TORQUE” | 10.56 lb |
| Omega H3000RED | 90–110 RPM | 150 W | None | 8.76 lb |
| MEGAWISE | Not stated | Not stated | “Powerful auger” | Not stated |
Stated speeds span 57 to 110 RPM. All are slow juicers in the sense the category uses. The listings link low speed to less heat and oxidation in the juice; that is their claim, which we report and do not assess. For a buyer, the practical point is that within this range the difference between 80 and 95 RPM says little on its own. Gearing, screw design and reverse matter more for leaves.
Horsepower here is a gearbox claim. The NC900HDC says its gear reduction is “equivalent to a 2HP motor” on a 150-watt machine, and the Angel quotes “3HP Grinding Force” without a wattage. One horsepower is about 746 watts, so 2HP and 3HP would be about 1,490 and 2,240 watts, by our arithmetic, many times any wattage stated on the page. Both figures describe torque multiplied through gearing at low speed, which is how slow juicers work, not the electrical rating of the motor.
Wattage does not track weight. The highest wattage, 300 on the VMIXBLE, comes with the lowest listed weight, 3.7 pounds. The heaviest machine, the J8006HD at 14.08 pounds, lists 200 watts. A lot of a horizontal juicer’s weight is its long housing and gearbox, which is one reason the long machines here are heavy.
Warranty: Who Covers the Parts That Crush
Four of ten listings state a warranty, and on a juicer for greens the important line is not the motor but the parts that do the crushing: the auger or gears, the screen and the housing they turn in.
| Juicer | Motor | Crushing parts | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Omega J8006HD | 15 years | 1 year (parts) | Limited warranty |
| Omega NC900HDC | 15 years | 1 year (parts) | Sold by Woot at capture |
| Angel AG-5500 | 10 years, with gears and electronics | 5 years: twin gear, housing filter, bushings | Wear parts and commercial use excluded |
| Luzrise | Two years, whole unit | Lifetime online support | |
| Other six | Not stated | Ask the seller | |
The long motor terms cover the part least likely to suffer. A slow juicer’s motor generally runs at modest load, while the screw, the screen and the end cap take the abrasion from fibrous stalks and grit on leaves. The two Omegas cover those for 1 year. The Angel covers its twin gear and housing filter for 5. The Luzrise, a hand crank with no motor, covers the whole unit for 2. Six listings, including the best seller, state nothing at all.
Best Alternatives
| Alternative | Why Consider It | Better For | Main Trade-Off |
|---|---|---|---|
| A general cold press juicer; see our cold press juicer roundup | Wider choice of upright and horizontal models | Mixed fruit and vegetable juice | Fewer listings commit to wheatgrass |
| A high-speed blender; see our blender for smoothies guide | Keeps all the fibre; greens blend whole | Green smoothies rather than juice | A drink, not a clear juice |
| A personal blender; see our personal blender roundup | Small, quick, one cup at a time | A single green smoothie before work | Struggles with stems and tough leaves |
| An electric citrus juicer; see our electric citrus juicer guide | Fast for oranges and lemons | Adding citrus to green juice | Cannot juice leaves at all |
What Each Step Up Actually Buys
The hand cranks — Kilixin, Hurricane, Luzrise. No motor, no power and no RPM: your arm sets the pace, and the Hurricane says about 1 ounce a minute. The Kilixin buys the smallest size and the most greens named in a title. The Hurricane buys a stated output, the thickest clamp range and a dishwasher-safe statement. The Luzrise buys a stated exclusion list, named kale and spinach, and the only warranty among the three. All three are wheatgrass tools first.
The upright — VMIXBLE. Stepping up to a motor in the upright pattern buys whole-fruit prep, 300 watts, a lid safety stop and the best rank on the page. It gives up any mention of wheatgrass, and it is the format generally least suited to leaves.
The plainly documented augers — MEGAWISE, SIFENE, H3000RED. Each names greens and has a long or stated-horizontal body. The MEGAWISE adds named kale and wheatgrass and an Amazon.com seller with no numbers. The SIFENE adds the only stated horizontal shape and a reverse function, without wheatgrass. The H3000RED adds Omega, carrots and wheatgrass named, and the lightest Omega weight, without a warranty.
The warranted Omegas — NC900HDC, J8006HD. Both name greens and wheatgrass, turn at 80 RPM and carry 15 years on the motor. The NC900HDC adds five pressure settings; the J8006HD adds a third auger stage, a long horizontal-looking outline and an Amazon.com seller.
The ceiling — Angel AG-5500. The last step buys twin gears, stainless steel throughout, a manual reverse, six listed safety features and 5 years on the crushing parts. It is by far the largest outlay on the page, and it states neither a weight nor a wattage.

What to Check Before You Buy
Look for the Shape in Words, Then in Numbers
One listing of ten says horizontal, the SIFENE. For the rest, compare listed length with listed height: on this page the Angel, MEGAWISE, J8006HD and H3000RED read as long, the VMIXBLE as upright, and two are unclear. Treat dimensions as a clue, and ask the seller if the shape is the reason you are buying.
Find the Mechanism Behind “Slow”
Every motorised listing says slow or cold press. What separates them for leaves is the mechanism: single auger, twin gear or hand crank. Look for a stage count (triple on the J8006HD, dual on the NC900HDC) and, failing that, the Amazon category, which is how we know the H3000RED and MEGAWISE are single augers.
Check Wheatgrass Is Named If You Want It
Eight of ten name it. The SIFENE and the VMIXBLE, the two sold on wide chutes, do not. If wheatgrass is part of your routine, buy a listing that commits to it in writing; all three hand cranks and five of the motorised juicers do.
Look for a Reverse or an Adjustable End Cap
Fibrous leaves and stalks can wrap a screw. The SIFENE and the Angel state a reverse function; the NC900HDC has five pressure settings on its end cap. The other motorised listings mention neither, which does not mean they lack them, only that the listing does not say.
Read the Warranty for the Crushing Parts
Two Omegas give 15 years on the motor and 1 on parts; the Angel gives 5 years on its twin gear; the Luzrise gives 2 on the whole unit. Six state nothing. The screw and screen take the wear from greens, so their term matters more than the motor’s.
Measure the Worktop for a Long Machine or a Clamp
The long motorised juicers list 17.96 to 19.69 inches, and need room at the chute end to feed. Hand cranks need a table edge: up to 2.1 inches on the Luzrise and 2 1/4 inches on the Hurricane, with space for the handle to turn. The Kilixin gives no mounting detail.
Check the Seller and the Stock
Only the J8006HD and the MEGAWISE were sold by Amazon.com at capture. The NC900HDC came from Woot and the H3000RED from a third party, so confirm the brand warranty applies. Four listings were flagged as scarce stock, including the Angel and the only stated horizontal.

Common Mistakes
- Assuming every slow juicer is a greens juicer. The best seller here, the VMIXBLE, is upright, built for whole fruit, and never names wheatgrass.
- Reading a shape into “masticating”. Nine of ten never say horizontal or vertical; masticating describes the crushing, not the layout.
- Trusting listed size as proof of shape. The SIFENE says horizontal yet lists 16.94 by 16.55 inches, almost square.
- Buying a chute for wheatgrass. The two listings sold on wide chutes, 5.8 inches and dual 3 inches, are the two that never mention wheatgrass.
- Taking horsepower as motor power. The NC900HDC’s 2HP line sits on a 150-watt machine; it describes gearing, not the motor.
- Reading a 15-year warranty as covering the auger. Both Omegas give 15 years on the motor and 1 year on parts.
- Putting carrots through a hand crank. The Luzrise lists carrot, mango, banana, tomato and sugarcane as not suitable.
- Expecting a manual juicer to be quick. The Hurricane states about 1 oz per minute, roughly 8 minutes for an 8-ounce glass by our arithmetic.
Who Should Buy Which
Buy the Omega J8006HD if greens and wheatgrass are a daily habit. It names both, uses a triple-stage auger at 80 RPM, lists a long outline that points to a horizontal layout, carries 15 years on the motor and is sold by Amazon.com. Accept 14.08 pounds on the worktop and 1 year on parts.
Buy the Angel AG-5500 if you want the top of the range and will use it hard. The only twin gear here, stainless steel throughout, with 5 years on the twin gear and 10 on the motor. Accept by far the largest outlay, two stated speeds and no weight or wattage.
Buy the Luzrise if you want a hand crank for wheatgrass and leaves with a warranty. It names kale, spinach and parsley, lists what it cannot take and covers the unit for 2 years. Accept no carrots and a 2.1-inch clamp limit.
Buy the Omega H3000RED if you want an Omega you can lift. 8.76 pounds, celery, carrots, leafy greens and wheatgrass named. Accept that no warranty is stated and it came from a third-party seller with scarce stock.
Buy the Omega NC900HDC if you want to tune the pressure. Five end-cap settings, a dual-stage auger, greens and wheatgrass named and a 15-year motor term. Accept a Woot seller at capture and dimensions that do not settle its shape.
Buy the SIFENE if a stated horizontal format is non-negotiable. The only listing that says it, with a reverse function and two chutes. Accept that wheatgrass is never named and no warranty is stated.
Buy the MEGAWISE if headroom is tight and you want Amazon.com as the seller. 9.3 inches high, kale and wheatgrass named. Accept that speed, wattage, weight and warranty are all missing.
Buy the VMIXBLE if your juice is mostly whole fruit with some greens. The best rank here, a 5.8-inch chute, 300 watts and 57 RPM. Accept an upright layout, no wheatgrass and no stated warranty.
Buy the Handy Pantry Hurricane if wheatgrass and barleygrass are the whole job. The only stated output rate, about 1 ounce a minute, and the widest clamp range. Accept that leafy greens are not named and no warranty is stated.
Buy the Kilixin if a drawer-sized hand juicer is the priority. 4 by 8 by 8 inches, with wheatgrass, spinach and baby kale in the title. Accept that weight, mounting and warranty are not stated.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best juicer for leafy greens?
For most buyers, the Omega J8006HD All-in-One Cold Press Juicer. Its listing names both leafy greens and wheatgrass, describes a triple-stage auger turning at 80 RPM, and gives a long, low outline of 19.69 by 13.0 inches that points to a horizontal layout, though the listing does not use the word. It carries a 15-year motor warranty, the longest motor term on the page, and was sold by Amazon.com at capture. Its parts are covered for 1 year. If you want the top of the market, the Angel AG-5500 is the only twin-gear juicer here, built entirely from SUS304 stainless steel with 5 years on its twin gear, at by far the highest outlay. If you would rather turn a handle, the Luzrise names kale, spinach and parsley, states what it cannot juice and carries a 2-year warranty.
What is the best juicer for wheatgrass?
Eight of the ten listings here name wheatgrass, so the choice comes down to how much you juice and whether you want a motor. For a daily shot, a hand crank is the traditional tool: the Handy Pantry Hurricane states about 1 ounce per minute and clamps to worktops up to 2 1/4 inches thick, and the Luzrise names wheatgrass alongside kale and spinach and carries a 2-year warranty. The Kilixin is the smallest at 4 by 8 by 8 inches. For larger amounts, the Omega J8006HD and NC900HDC both name wheatgrass, turn at 80 RPM and carry 15 years on the motor, and the Angel AG-5500 is the only twin-gear juicer here. Avoid assuming a wide-chute juicer will do it: the SIFENE and the VMIXBLE, the two sold on their chutes, never mention wheatgrass.
What is the best juicer for vegetables?
If your vegetables include roots such as carrots as well as leaves, choose a motorised auger that names both. The Omega H3000RED names celery, carrots, leafy greens and wheatgrass in one bullet, and the MEGAWISE names carrots, kale and wheatgrass. The Omega J8006HD names fruits, vegetables, leafy greens and wheatgrass, and adds a 15-year motor warranty. The hand cranks are less suited to hard vegetables: the Luzrise lists carrot and tomato as not suitable, and the Hurricane says it juices soft fruits and vegetables. If your vegetable juice is mostly firm produce with some greens added, and quick prep matters, the VMIXBLE’s 5.8-inch chute takes whole pieces and it holds the best Best Sellers Rank on the page, though it never mentions wheatgrass and its upright layout is generally less suited to leaves.
Is a horizontal or vertical juicer better for leafy greens?
The conventional answer is horizontal. In a horizontal juicer, leaves are pushed along a long screw lying on its side and squeezed against a screen over its whole length. In a vertical juicer, produce drops onto a shorter upright screw by gravity, which suits whole fruit and wide chutes, while long leaf fibres can wrap and slow the feed. That is general juicer design rather than something we have measured on these ten. The difficulty is that only one listing here states its shape: the SIFENE says horizontal in its title. By listed dimensions, the Angel, MEGAWISE, Omega J8006HD and Omega H3000RED are longer than they are tall, and the VMIXBLE is about twice as tall as it is long, our reading. Where shape is the reason you are buying, ask the seller to confirm it.
What is the difference between a twin gear and a single auger juicer?
A single auger juicer uses one screw to press produce against a screen, pushing pulp out of one end and juice through the screen. Six juicers here are single augers, including all three Omegas and the SIFENE. A twin gear juicer uses two interlocking gears that draw produce between them and crush it against a screen. The Angel AG-5500 is the only twin gear on this page; its warranty names a twin gear and a twin grinding gear bushing, and its listing calls the system Shattering Helical Gear technology. Twin gears are generally the format chosen by people who juice large amounts of greens and grasses, and they are the most expensive format here by a wide margin. The Angel also adds stainless steel throughout and 5 years of warranty on the twin gear, against 1 year on parts for the Omegas.
Are manual wheatgrass juicers worth it?
For wheatgrass on its own, often yes. A hand crank needs no power, takes little space and works in small handfuls, which suits thin bundles of grass. The three here all have wheatgrass in their titles. The Hurricane is the only listing on the page to state an output rate, about 1 ounce per minute, so a 1-ounce shot takes about a minute and an 8-ounce glass about eight, by our arithmetic. The limits are clear in the listings. The Luzrise says it is not suitable for carrot, mango, banana, tomato or sugarcane, and asks for apples cut to about 2 cm. The Hurricane says it juices soft fruits and vegetables. The Kilixin excludes sugarcane and asks for apples peeled and cut small. If you juice mixed vegetables in volume, a motorised auger will save time; for a daily wheatgrass shot, a crank is enough.
Does RPM matter on a juicer for greens?
Less than most listings suggest. Every motorised juicer here is slow: stated speeds run from 57 RPM on the VMIXBLE to 90 to 110 RPM on the Omega H3000RED, with the Omega J8006HD and NC900HDC at 80, the Angel at 82 or 86, and the SIFENE at 95. The MEGAWISE gives no figure. The listings link low speed to less heat and oxidation, which is their claim and not one we assess. For leaves, the mechanism matters more than a few RPM either way: whether the screw is long and horizontal, whether there are two gears, whether there is a reverse button to clear wrapped fibres, and whether the end cap adjusts. The SIFENE and Angel state a reverse, and the NC900HDC has five pressure settings. Those features say more about how a juicer copes with kale than its speed does.
Can I use a blender instead of a juicer for leafy greens?
Yes, but you get a different drink. A blender purees the whole leaf, fibre included, into a smoothie; a juicer separates the juice from the pulp. If you like the texture and want to keep the fibre, a high-speed blender is simpler to clean and takes the same kale and spinach, and our blender for smoothies guide covers the options. A personal blender suits one cup at a time but can struggle with stems. If you want a clear juice, or wheatgrass, which is usually juiced rather than blended because it is so fibrous, you need a juicer. Among the ten here, the Omega J8006HD and NC900HDC name leafy greens and wheatgrass and also make nut butters and sorbets, so they cover some blender-adjacent jobs as well. No listing here claims to replace a blender, and none of the hand cranks does anything but juice.
Final Verdict
Names leafy greens and wheatgrass, a triple-stage auger at 80 RPM, a 15-year motor warranty, sold by Amazon.com.
The only twin gear here, stainless steel throughout, with 5 years on the twin gear and 10 on the motor.
Names kale, spinach, parsley and wheatgrass, lists what it cannot take, and carries a 2-year warranty.
The best juicer for leafy greens is usually described by its shape, and nine of these ten listings never state one. Only the SIFENE says horizontal. For the rest, the listed size is the clue: four motorised juicers read as long and low, one reads as upright, and two cannot be settled. Even the SIFENE’s own dimensions are almost square, which is why size is a clue and never proof.
The mechanism tells you more than the speed. Six single augers, one twin gear and three hand cranks. Speeds sit between 57 and 110 RPM wherever they are stated, a narrow band for a figure listings lead with. Stage counts, reverse functions, an adjustable end cap and the warranty on the crushing parts separate these machines far more for leaves than a few RPM.
And the words matter. Eight listings name wheatgrass, six commit to leafy greens and wheatgrass together, and the two that never mention wheatgrass are the two sold on chute width, including the best seller on the page. Buy a listing that names what you juice, ask the seller for the shape where it is missing, and read the warranty for the auger, not just the motor.
If you buy one juicer from this page, make it the Omega J8006HD: it names leafy greens and wheatgrass, describes a triple-stage auger at 80 RPM, lists a long outline that points to a horizontal layout, and carries 15 years on the motor from Amazon.com. If you want the ceiling, the Angel AG-5500 is the only twin gear here; if wheatgrass is the whole job and a handle does not bother you, the Luzrise is the best-documented hand crank.
