Type “heart waffle maker” into a search box and you will get one word for three different machines. Read the ten listings on this page side by side and only one of them bakes a single heart. That is the Dash Heart Mini, with a “4-Inch Nonstick Cooking Surface” and one heart-shaped waffle at a time.
Seven of the ten bake one plate split into heart sections. This is the old Scandinavian format: a thin waffle cooked as a single piece and pulled apart along its seams into hearts. Six of the seven say five hearts per batch. The Holstein says four. GOIMGN spells the idea out most plainly: “Each batch makes 1 whole waffle, which can be divided into 5 heart-shaped pieces.”
One bakes six hearts at once. The Dash Multi Mini Heart says “Makes 6 Hearts at Once” in its title, the highest count on the page. It also holds the best Best Sellers Rank here, #1,515 overall and #8 in Waffle Irons. The single-heart Dash Mini is second, at #3,746 overall. Between them, the two Dash machines are far ahead of everything else on the page.
The tenth does not say how many hearts it makes. The KEINVE calls itself a “Mini Heart Waffle Maker” and gives a wattage and two indicator lights, but no heart count and no plate size. If you are shopping for a number of hearts, that is a question to ask the seller before you order.
Then the paperwork thins out. Six listings give a plate size of some kind, and only one, the UVFAST five-slice, uses the word diameter: “an 8-inch cooking diameter”. Three give a wattage: 1000W, 750W and 700W. Seven mention an indicator light, and three mention any way to set the heat. Just two listings, the UVFAST and the GVAKMM, state all four things a heart-waffle buyer most needs: hearts per batch, plate size, watts and a ready light.
Plate size matters more on a heart iron than the titles suggest. Five hearts cut from an 8-inch circle are a different breakfast from five hearts cut from a 6-inch one. By our arithmetic, assuming a full circle, the 8-inch plate has about 78% more area than the 6-inch, so each of its hearts is that much larger. The heart count is the same; the waffle is not.
So this guide sorts the ten by format first, then by stated plate size, and compares hearts per batch, plate size, wattage and indicator lights only as each listing states them. Where a listing is silent, we say “Not stated” and treat the gap as information. Star ratings and review counts were not captured for this roundup; popularity below is Amazon’s Best Sellers Rank only.
All ten were captured in stock on amazon.com on 5 October 2026. Their overall Best Sellers Ranks run from #1,515 to #100,460, and their Waffle Irons ranks from #8 to #183.

Best Sellers Ranks and specifications are taken from each manufacturer’s Amazon listing as displayed on 5 October 2026 through a United States connection, and may change. Every figure is as the listing states it. Only the UVFAST uses the word diameter. The Euro Cuisine’s 8-inch figure comes from its title and size field and is not described as a plate or a diameter; the GOIMGN’s 7-inch figure comes from its title; the GVAKMM and Paris Hilton describe their 7-inch and 6-inch figures as plates, and the Dash Heart Mini describes its 4-inch figure as a cooking surface. The Holstein’s “4 Inch” is its size field and is not explained, so we do not treat it as a plate diameter. The Dash Heart Mini does not print a heart count; one heart is what a 4-inch heart-shaped surface makes, and the KEINVE gives no count at all. The Paris Hilton and UVFAST both say their plates can make one whole waffle as an alternative to five hearts. Six of the ten were sold by Amazon.com at capture; the UVFAST was sold by AKCOOK, the GVAKMM by GVAKMM HOME (flagged as scarce stock), the GOIMGN by GOIMGN and the KEINVE by KEINVE Kitchen. Star ratings and review counts were not captured for any product here.

How We Chose These Ten
We researched current listings, compared manufacturer specifications and documentation, and read each listing’s claims about its hearts, its plates, its power and its controls line by line. We did not carry out hands-on testing, and nothing below is presented as measured performance data. Star ratings and review counts were not captured for this roundup. We used Amazon Best Sellers Rank, buy-box stock and listing specifications instead, and nothing on this page describes or implies how owners have scored these waffle makers.
- Heart-shaped output only — every product here is an electric waffle maker sold to make heart-shaped waffles, whether one heart, a plate of heart sections or several separate mini hearts. Round, square, Belgian-only and novelty-shape irons without hearts were not in the running.
- Sorted by format before anything else — we grouped the ten by what each listing says the plate makes: one heart, one plate split into four or five heart sections, several separate hearts, or a count not stated. A buyer who wants one format is not helped by a ranking that mixes them.
- Hearts per batch recorded as printed — the number in the title or bullets, with the listing’s own wording where it adds something, such as “1 whole waffle, which can be divided into 5”.
- Plate size recorded as described — a figure called a diameter is reported as a diameter, a figure in a title or size field is reported as exactly that, and a figure that is not explained is not treated as a plate size. Any area on this page is our arithmetic, and assumes a full circle of the stated size.
- Power and lights only where stated — wattage and indicator lights are logged only where the listing names them. A light or a wattage the listing does not mention is marked not stated, even if the product may well have one.
- Popularity from Best Sellers Rank only — ranks are quoted exactly as returned on 5 October 2026, overall and in Waffle Irons, where Amazon files all ten. Ranks move constantly, so read the order rather than the precise numbers.
- Verified stock and seller — each product was the buy-box offer and in stock on amazon.com on 5 October 2026. The GVAKMM was flagged as scarce stock at capture.

The Ten Heart Waffle Makers in Detail
1. UVFAST Heart Shaped Waffle Maker, 5 Slices, 8-Inch Non-Stick Plates, 1000W (JK-159) — Best Overall

The only listing on the page that states a cooking diameter, and one of two that state all four specs that matter.
Key Specifications

|---|---|
| Hearts per batch | 5 mini hearts, or one large waffle |
| Plate size | 8-inch cooking diameter, stated |
| Power | 1000W |
| Indicator light | Preheating light on top of the lid |
| Heat control | 5-setting browning lever; automatic temperature control |
| Storage | Upright, with under-cord storage |
| Overall size | 10.6 x 8.0 x 3.5 in |
| Listed weight | Not stated |
| Brand / seller | UVFAST / AKCOOK |
| Best Sellers Rank | #38,958 overall; #88 in Waffle Irons |
Why We Recommend It
This is the most completely described heart iron on the page. The title gives three of the four numbers a heart-waffle buyer needs in one line: “Heart Shaped Waffle Maker 5 Slices with 8’’ Non-stick Plates, Gift, 1000W”. The bullets add the fourth, a preheating indicator light, and then go further than any other listing here on how the heat is controlled. Only one other listing, the GVAKMM, states all four, and it does so on a smaller plate with less power.
It is the only listing that says diameter. “With an 8-inch cooking diameter, you can choose between a large golden waffle or 5 mini hearts.” Every other plate figure on the page sits in a title, a size field or the word “plates”, and leaves you to guess whether it measures the cooking area, the plate casting or the body. Here the number is tied to the cooking surface. By our arithmetic, a full 8-inch circle is about 50 square inches, which works out at about 10 square inches for each of its five hearts. That is the largest stated plate here, level with the Euro Cuisine’s 8-inch figure, which is not described as a diameter.
The heat is set by hand and held automatically. “Use the 5 browning lever to adjust the doneness of the waffle, whether you like it light, fluffy or crispy.” The last bullet adds “Automatic Temperature Control and Preheating Indicator”: the plate reheats when its temperature drops, and the light on the lid tells you when to pour. Only three listings on the page mention any way to set the heat at all, and this is the only one that gives a number of settings. On a thin heart waffle, which goes from pale to dark quickly, a browning control is worth more than it is on a deep Belgian iron.
1000W is the most power stated here. The KEINVE states 750W and the GVAKMM 700W, and the other seven do not say. Spread over its stated 8-inch circle, 1000W is about 20 watts per square inch, by our arithmetic; the GVAKMM comes to about 18 on its 7-inch plates. The figures are close, which is what you would expect from a family of irons doing the same job at different sizes. What the higher wattage buys is mostly reheating speed between batches, since a plate this size loses heat every time the lid opens and cold batter goes in. Our waffle maker roundup sets out why wattage tells you more than the name on the lid.
The design details are about mess and storage. A “wrap-around channel that captures any excess batter” sits around the plate, the handle is cool-touch, and the iron stores upright with the cord wrapped underneath. The overall size is 10.6 by 8.0 by 3.5 inches. No weight is listed, which is a gap: on every other count this is the best-documented listing on the page, and the scale is the one place it goes quiet.
What to weigh. It is sold by AKCOOK under the UVFAST brand, not by Amazon.com, and the title carries no brand at all, so search by the model number, JK-159, if you want to be sure you have the same iron. It ranks #38,958 overall and #88 in Waffle Irons, seventh of ten. No warranty is stated. Against those points, it is the only listing on the page that tells you the diameter, the watts, the light and the number of browning settings, and on a heart iron those four numbers are the ones that decide breakfast.
Pros
- Only stated cooking diameter here: 8 inches
- 1000W, the highest stated wattage
- Five browning settings plus automatic temperature control
- Preheating light on the lid
- Five hearts or one large waffle
- Batter channel, cool-touch handle, upright storage
Cons
- No listed weight
- Sold by a third party, not Amazon.com
- Title carries no brand name
- No warranty stated
- Mid-table rank: #88 in Waffle Irons
- Bullets contain typos, such as “Migty”
Best for: A buyer who wants the largest stated five-heart plate with real heat control and every key number in writing.
2. Euro Cuisine WM520 Heart Shaped Iron Waffle Maker, 8-Inch — Best Warranty

Five hearts on an 8-inch iron with adjustable heat and the longest warranty on the page, but no watts and no light stated.
Key Specifications
| Format | One plate split into heart sections |
|---|---|
| Hearts per batch | 5, stated |
| Plate size | 8-inch, from title and size field; not called a diameter |
| Power | Not stated |
| Indicator light | Not stated |
| Heat control | Adjustable settings, stated; number not given |
| Coating | PTFE- and PFOA-free non-stick, stated |
| Overall size | 10.0 x 8.0 x 4.5 in |
| Listed weight | 4.0 pounds |
| Warranty | 3-year limited, stated |
| Seller | Amazon.com |
| Best Sellers Rank | #36,144 overall; #83 in Waffle Irons |
Why We Recommend It
This is the classic five-heart iron, and its listing reads like one. “Create five heart-shaped waffles at once with this waffle maker.” The model number, WM520, and the 8-inch figure in the title describe the familiar Scandinavian layout: one round batch that pulls apart into hearts. It is sold by Amazon.com and ranks #36,144 overall and #83 in Waffle Irons, the fifth-best rank on the page.
The 8-inch figure is not explained. It appears in the title, “8-Inch”, and in the size field, “8 inch”. The listing does not say whether that is the cooking plate or the iron. The overall dimensions, 10.0 by 8.0 by 4.5 inches, leave room for an 8-inch plate inside a body with a drip rim and a handle, so the plate reading is plausible, but it is not stated. If it is the cooking diameter, the hearts match the UVFAST’s in size, about 10 square inches each by our arithmetic.
The heat adjusts, but the listing gives no scale. “Adjustable Precision Cooking” is the heading, and the bullet promises a “waffle iron temperature control feature” for light or crisp results. That makes it one of three listings on the page that mention any heat setting. It does not say how many settings there are, or give a temperature. It also does not mention an indicator light, and it does not give a wattage, so two of the four numbers this guide compares are missing.
The coating claim is specific. The title says “Eco-Friendly PTFE and PFOA Free Non Stick Plates”. PTFE is the material most non-stick coatings are made from, so a PTFE-free claim means a different coating; the listing does not name it. Only one other listing here, the Paris Hilton, goes beyond PFOA in its coating claim, with “Made without PFAS or PFOA”. If the coating is the deciding question, our non-toxic waffle maker guide goes through what those claims do and do not cover.
The paperwork is the strongest on the page. A “3-year limited warranty” is stated, three times the Holstein’s one year and the only multi-year warranty here; eight listings give none. A recipe book is included. The exterior is chrome, there is a “wide drip rim to prevent mess”, and the iron stores vertically. At 4.0 pounds listed, it is the second-heaviest iron with a stated weight, behind only the six-heart Dash.
What to weigh. Buy it for the warranty, the five-heart layout, the adjustable heat and Amazon.com as the seller. Accept that you will not know its wattage or whether it has a ready light until it arrives, and that you will judge the first batch by eye. For a thin heart waffle, that first batch is the one to watch: it cooks fast, and the browning control is how you correct the second.
Pros
- Five hearts per batch, stated
- 3-year limited warranty, the longest here
- Adjustable temperature control
- PTFE- and PFOA-free plates, stated
- Sold by Amazon.com
- Drip rim, chrome exterior, vertical storage, recipe book
Cons
- Wattage not stated
- No indicator light mentioned
- 8-inch figure not described as a plate or diameter
- Number of heat settings not given
- Coating material not named
- 4.0 lb, heavier than most here
Best for: A buyer who wants the traditional five-heart iron with adjustable heat and three years of warranty cover.
3. GVAKMM Mini Waffle Maker (Heart), 7-Inch Non-Stick Plates — Best Seven-Inch

One of only two listings that state hearts, plate size, watts and a ready light, on a 7-inch plate.
Key Specifications
| Format | One plate split into heart sections |
|---|---|
| Hearts per batch | 5 pieces, stated |
| Plate size | 7-inch plates, stated |
| Power | 700W |
| Indicator light | Green light; ready when it goes out |
| Heat control | Not stated |
| Coating | PFOA-free non-stick, stated |
| Included | Bamboo fork and knife |
| Listed weight | “just over 2 lb” (bullet) |
| Seller | GVAKMM HOME; scarce stock at capture |
| Best Sellers Rank | #33,577 overall; #77 in Waffle Irons |
Why We Recommend It
This listing answers all four questions, at a smaller size. Five hearts: “Create 5 pieces heart-shaped waffles once with this charming mini waffle maker.” Plate size: “The 7’’ non-stick cooking plates are PFOA-free.” Power: “With 700 watts of power, it heats up quickly and evenly.” Light: “Just plug it in, and when the green light goes out, you’re ready to go!” Only the UVFAST matches that set, and on paper this is its smaller sibling.
“Mini” here means seven inches. The title calls it a “Mini Waffle Maker(Heart)”, but a 7-inch plate is not mini in the sense the Dash Heart Mini is, with its 4-inch surface. By our arithmetic, a full 7-inch circle is about 38.5 square inches, about 7.7 square inches per heart, against about 10 per heart on an 8-inch plate and about 5.7 on the Paris Hilton’s 6-inch. So the GVAKMM’s hearts sit in the middle of the five-heart range: larger than the Paris Hilton’s, smaller than the UVFAST’s.
The power suits the plate. 700W spread over that 7-inch circle is about 18 watts per square inch, by our arithmetic, close to the UVFAST’s 20 on its larger plate. In other words, the GVAKMM is not underpowered for its size; it is a smaller plate with proportionally less power. What it does not have is any way to set the heat. There is no browning control mentioned, so the only lever you have is time, and on a thin heart waffle that lever moves quickly.
The light works the other way round. Most indicator lights on this page come on, or change colour, when the plate is ready. The GVAKMM’s goes out: “when the green light goes out, you’re ready to go”. That is a small thing to know before the first batch, and the kind of detail that saves a pale first waffle. The listing also suggests paninis, waffle cones, hash browns and “biscuit pizzas”, all of which a heart-sectioned plate will shape into hearts.
The extras and the stock. It ships with a bamboo fork and knife, the only accessory on the page apart from the Euro Cuisine’s recipe book. The listing says it “Weighs just over 2 lb” and pitches it for apartments, college and RV travel. It is sold by GVAKMM HOME, not Amazon.com, and was flagged as scarce stock at capture, so availability may change.
What to weigh. It ranks #33,577 overall and #77 in Waffle Irons, the best Waffle Irons rank of any five-heart iron here, one place ahead of the Paris Hilton. No warranty is stated. Buy it if you want every key number in writing on a mid-size plate; choose the UVFAST instead if you want larger hearts and a browning control.
Pros
- States hearts, plate size, watts and light
- 7-inch plates: mid-size five-heart waffles
- 700W, about 18 W per sq in by our arithmetic
- PFOA-free plates, stated
- Bamboo fork and knife included
- Best Waffle Irons rank of the five-heart irons
Cons
- No heat or browning control mentioned
- Scarce stock at capture
- Sold by a third party
- No warranty stated
- Light goes out when ready, unlike most
- Weight given only as “just over 2 lb”
Best for: A buyer who wants a fully specified five-heart iron in a smaller footprint and does not need a browning dial.
4. GOIMGN Heart-Shaped Waffle Maker, 7-Inch Non-Stick Waffle Iron — Clearest Five-Way Split

The listing that explains the format best: one round waffle, divided into five hearts.
Key Specifications
| Format | One round waffle, divided into heart pieces |
|---|---|
| Hearts per batch | 5, stated |
| Plate size | 7-inch, from title |
| Power | Not stated |
| Indicator light | Not stated |
| Heat control | Not stated |
| Safety | Cool-touch handle; latch |
| Storage | Upright |
| Overall size | 8.0 x 6.0 x 4.0 in |
| Listed weight | Not stated |
| Seller | GOIMGN |
| Best Sellers Rank | #72,916 overall; #143 in Waffle Irons |
Why We Recommend It
If you are not sure what a five-heart iron makes, read this listing. “This round classic waffle maker bakes golden, crispy waffles in just minutes. Each batch makes 1 whole waffle, which can be divided into 5 heart-shaped pieces.” That is the Scandinavian format in two sentences: one round waffle, cooked as a single piece, separated into hearts along the plate’s seams. No other listing here says it as plainly, and it is the only one to use the word “round”.
The size comes from the title only. “7-Inch Nonstick Waffle Iron” is the only plate figure, and the listing does not say whether it is the cooking diameter. The overall dimensions are odd beside it: 8.0 inches long and 6.0 inches wide, which is narrower than a 7-inch circle. One of the two figures is likely to describe something other than the plate, or the dimensions are measured on the box. Either way, the listing does not let you check the 7 inches, so treat the hearts as somewhere near the GVAKMM’s, about 7.7 square inches each on a full 7-inch circle by our arithmetic, until the seller confirms.
The bullets repeat themselves. The first two bullets carry the same heading, “Quickly Make Perfect Waffles”, and the same text, except that one says “round classic waffle maker” and the other “small waffle maker”. That leaves four distinct bullets, and none of them gives a wattage, an indicator light or a heat setting. Three of the four comparison columns in this guide come back empty or near it for the GOIMGN: you know the hearts and an unexplained size, and nothing about the power or when to pour.
The safety details are spelled out. “The heart shaped waffle maker’s cool-touch handle stays comfortable to hold even during high-temperature baking,” and “The sturdy latch design prevents accidental opening while cooking.” The listing also describes it as “anti-overflow” and says it stores upright. Cleaning is a wipe with a damp cloth, which is the norm here: none of the ten listings mentions removable plates. If dishwasher-safe plates matter to you, our guide to waffle makers with removable plates covers irons built that way.
No weight, no light, no watts. On a heart iron with no ready light, the first batch has to be timed by steam and smell. That is not unusual for simple waffle irons, but it is worth knowing when the UVFAST and GVAKMM put a light and a wattage on the page. No warranty is stated either.
What to weigh. It is sold by GOIMGN and ranks #72,916 overall and #143 in Waffle Irons, eighth of ten. Its strength is clarity about the format; its weakness is silence about everything else. Buy it if a simple 7-inch, five-heart iron with a latch is what you want; choose the GVAKMM if you want the same plate size with the watts and light stated.
Pros
- Clearest description of the one-piece, five-heart format
- Only listing that says “round”
- Cool-touch handle and latch
- Anti-overflow design, stated
- Upright storage
- Wipe-clean non-stick plates
Cons
- Wattage not stated
- No indicator light mentioned
- No heat control mentioned
- 7-inch figure does not fit the 6-inch listed width
- No listed weight
- Two bullets are duplicates
Best for: A buyer who wants a plain round five-heart iron with a latch and is happy to time batches by eye.
5. Paris Hilton Heart Waffle Maker, 5 Mini Hearts or 1 Waffle, 6-Inch Plates — Most Compact Five-Heart

Five hearts from the smallest stated plate of the sectioned irons, with the broadest coating claim on the page.
Key Specifications
| Format | One plate split into heart sections |
|---|---|
| Hearts per batch | 5 mini hearts, or 1 individual waffle |
| Plate size | 6-inch non-stick plates, stated |
| Power | Not stated |
| Indicator light | Heat indicator turns green |
| Heat control | Not stated |
| Coating | Made without PFAS or PFOA, stated |
| Overall size | 9.25 x 7.5 x 3.75 in |
| Listed weight | 2.7 pounds |
| Seller | Amazon.com |
| Best Sellers Rank | #30,520 overall; #78 in Waffle Irons |
Why We Recommend It
This is the five-heart format at its smallest stated size. The title says it plainly: “Makes 5 Mini Heart Shaped Waffles or 1 Individual Waffle, Easy to Clean 6” Nonstick Plates”. Like the UVFAST, it describes the plate as making either one whole waffle or five hearts, which is the same pan seen two ways: one round batch that separates along its seams.
Six inches makes for small hearts. By our arithmetic, a full 6-inch circle is about 28 square inches, about 5.7 square inches per heart. The UVFAST’s 8-inch circle has about 78% more area, so its five hearts are each that much larger. The listing is honest about it, calling them “mini” hearts, and pitches them as a brunch and slumber-party food: “A perfect addition to the charcuterie board set and heart shaped ramekins.” If you want hearts for a board, small is the point; if you want a breakfast plate, it is the thing to check.
The coating claim is the broadest here. “Made without PFAS or PFOA” is in the title. PFOA is one chemical; PFAS is the whole family it belongs to, which also includes PTFE, so a no-PFAS claim is a wider promise than the PFOA-free claims on the Holstein and GVAKMM. The listing does not name the coating that replaces it. Euro Cuisine makes a similar PTFE-free claim. Our non-toxic waffle maker guide explains the difference between these claims.
The light changes colour. “Just plug it in, wait for the heat-indicator to turn green and pour your batter.” That is one of seven indicator lights on the page. No wattage is given and no heat setting is mentioned, so the only control is the light and the clock. The listing says “NO NEED TO FLIP”, which is true of every plug-in iron with heated plates top and bottom.
The styling is the brand. “Features Paris Hilton’s signature pink color with her iconic ‘That’s Hot’ catch phrase.” It is described as compact enough for a cabinet or drawer, and at 9.25 by 7.5 by 3.75 inches and 2.7 pounds listed, it is among the smaller irons here, though the single-heart Dash and the Holstein list less weight.
What to weigh. It is sold by Amazon.com and ranks #30,520 overall, the third-best overall rank on the page, and #78 in Waffle Irons, one place behind the GVAKMM. The two ranks disagree on the order, which is a reminder that ranks move and are not a fine measure. No warranty is stated. Buy it for small hearts, a broad coating claim and a ready light; choose an 8-inch iron if you want a five-heart waffle that fills a plate.
Pros
- Five mini hearts or one whole waffle
- Made without PFAS or PFOA, stated
- Heat indicator turns green when ready
- Sold by Amazon.com
- Third-best overall rank here
- Compact; fits a cabinet or drawer
Cons
- 6-inch plates: smallest of the five-heart irons
- Wattage not stated
- No heat control mentioned
- Coating material not named
- No warranty stated
- Styling will not suit every kitchen
Best for: A buyer who wants small hearts for brunch boards or children and values a broad coating claim.
6. SUNVIVIPRO Heart Electric Waffle Iron with Temperature Control Knob (ZWF008) — Stainless Pick

Five hearts and a temperature knob, from a listing with a single bullet and no plate size, watts or light.
Key Specifications
| Format | One plate split into heart sections |
|---|---|
| Hearts per batch | 5, stated |
| Plate size | Not stated (size field: “Single Waffle”) |
| Power | Not stated |
| Indicator light | Not stated |
| Heat control | Temperature control knob, in title |
| Exterior | Stainless steel, in title |
| Overall size | 9.76 x 4.33 x 7.68 in |
| Listed weight | 2.62 pounds |
| Seller | Amazon.com |
| Best Sellers Rank | #100,460 overall; #183 in Waffle Irons |
Why We Recommend It
The title does more work than the listing. “SUNVIVIPRO Heart Electric Waffle Iron: Belgian Waffle Maker with Temperature Control Knob, Waffle Machine with Nonstick Plates Easy Clean, Breakfast Maker for Kids and Families, Stainless Steel.” Below it there is one bullet. That bullet says the iron has “an adorable heart-shaped mold, allowing you to cook 5 waffles in one go”, and the rest of it is about surprising children and partners. No other listing on the page is this thin.
The heat control is the one hard feature. A “Temperature Control Knob” puts it among the three listings here that let you set the heat, with the UVFAST’s five-setting lever and the Euro Cuisine’s adjustable settings. The listing does not say how many positions the knob has or what temperatures they reach. Still, on a thin heart waffle, a knob is a real advantage over the seven irons that leave you with time as the only control.
“Belgian” and “heart” pull in different directions. Belgian waffles are usually defined by deep pockets and a thick batter, while heart irons in the five-section style tend to make thin waffles. The listing does not give a pocket depth, so it does not settle which this is. If thickness is the reason you are shopping, our thick waffle maker roundup covers irons that state their depth; on this listing, the word Belgian is a description, not a measurement.
The size is a puzzle. The size field says “Single Waffle”, which fits the one-piece, five-heart format. The overall dimensions are 9.76 by 4.33 by 7.68 inches, which reads like an iron measured standing on its side, or a box. Neither gives a plate diameter, so you cannot compare its hearts with the 6-, 7- and 8-inch irons on this page. No wattage and no indicator light are mentioned. The stainless steel in the title describes the exterior; the plates are described only as non-stick.
Popularity is the lowest here. It ranks #100,460 overall and #183 in Waffle Irons, last of the ten on both measures. It is sold by Amazon.com, which makes returns straightforward, and it lists 2.62 pounds. No warranty is stated.
What to weigh. Buy it if a temperature knob and a stainless exterior are what you want on a five-heart iron, and you are willing to learn its plate size, power and ready signal when it arrives. If you want the same heat control with the numbers printed, the UVFAST and the Euro Cuisine give more.
Pros
- Five hearts per batch, stated
- Temperature control knob
- Stainless steel exterior
- Sold by Amazon.com
- 2.62 lb listed
- Non-stick plates
Cons
- One bullet: the thinnest listing here
- Plate size not stated
- Wattage and indicator light not stated
- “Belgian” with no pocket depth
- Lowest rank of the ten
- No warranty stated
Best for: A buyer who wants a heat knob on a five-heart iron and does not need the spec sheet in advance.
7. Holstein Housewares 4-Section Heart Shaped Waffle Maker, Red (HF-09031R) — Best Four-Heart

The only sectioned plate that makes four hearts, with two lights, a safety lock and a stated warranty.
Key Specifications
| Format | One plate split into heart sections |
|---|---|
| Hearts per batch | 4, stated |
| Plate size | Not stated (size field: 4 Inch, unexplained) |
| Power | Not stated |
| Indicator lights | Power and preheated, stated |
| Heat control | Not stated |
| Safety | Cool-touch handle; safety lock |
| Coating | PFOA-free non-stick, stated |
| Overall size | 12.14 x 8.51 x 3.94 in |
| Listed weight | About 1.98 pounds |
| Warranty | 1 year manufacturer |
| Best Sellers Rank | #38,264 overall; #86 in Waffle Irons |
Why We Recommend It
Four hearts, not five, and the listing leans on thickness. “Bakes 4 heart-shaped waffles in minutes with a thick mold design.” Every other sectioned plate on the page makes five. Fewer sections on the same kind of plate means larger hearts, and the word “thick” suggests a deeper batter than the classic thin Scandinavian waffle. The listing does not give a depth or a plate diameter, so neither point can be measured, but it is the one sectioned iron here that pitches itself as something other than thin.
The size field is not a plate size. It reads “4 Inch”, and the listing does not explain it. The overall dimensions are 12.14 by 8.51 by 3.94 inches, which is a long body with a handle. A 4-inch figure could describe each heart, or nothing in particular; it cannot describe a plate that holds four hearts side by side. So we report plate size as not stated. The title also calls it a “Mini Waffle Maker for Kids”, which fits the hearts better than the body.
It is one of two irons with two lights. “Built-in indicator lights signal when the waffle iron is powered on and preheated.” The KEINVE is the other. A separate power light tells you the iron is on even when it is up to temperature, which is useful on a counter with children around. The same bullet adds a “cool-touch handle and safety lock”. No wattage is stated, and no heat setting is mentioned.
The format suits sticks and slices. The listing says it makes “classic American-style slices or fun waffle-on-a-stick recipes using popsicle sticks (not included).” That is the clearest case on the page of a heart iron sold for snacks rather than breakfast. The plates are “Non-stick and PFOA-free”, it stores vertically, and the listed weight is about 1.98 pounds, the second-lightest stated here after the single-heart Dash.
A warranty is stated. “1 year manufacturer” is in the spec fields; only the Euro Cuisine, at three years, offers more. It is sold by Amazon.com and ranks #38,264 overall and #86 in Waffle Irons, sixth of ten.
What to weigh. Buy it if you want four larger hearts rather than five smaller ones, two lights, a lock for a family kitchen and a stated warranty. Accept that its wattage, plate size and depth are not given. If you want four waffles from a square iron instead, our 4-slice waffle maker guide compares those.
Pros
- Four hearts per batch: larger sections than the five-heart plates
- Power and preheat lights
- Cool-touch handle and safety lock
- PFOA-free plates, stated
- 1-year manufacturer warranty
- Sold by Amazon.com; about 1.98 lb
Cons
- Fewest hearts of the sectioned plates
- Wattage not stated
- Plate size not stated; 4 Inch field unexplained
- No heat control mentioned
- “Thick mold” with no depth given
- Long 12.14-inch body
Best for: A family that wants four larger hearts, two lights and a safety lock on a light iron.
8. Dash Multi Mini Heart Waffle Maker, Makes 6 Hearts at Once, Red — Best for a Crowd

Six hearts per batch, the most on the page, and the best Best Sellers Rank here by a wide margin.
Key Specifications
| Format | Several mini hearts in one iron |
|---|---|
| Hearts per batch | 6, stated |
| Plate size | Not stated |
| Power | Not stated |
| Indicator light | Indicator light, stated |
| Heat control | Not stated |
| Coating | PTFE dual non-stick plates, stated |
| Overall size | 13.1 x 10.4 x 4.8 in |
| Listed weight | 5.8 pounds |
| Seller | Amazon.com |
| Best Sellers Rank | #1,515 overall; #8 in Waffle Irons |
Why We Recommend It
This is the multi-heart format, and the page’s best seller. The title says “Makes 6 Hearts at Once”, and the rank backs up the appeal: #1,515 overall and #8 in Waffle Irons, the best on the page on both measures. The next-best is the single-heart Dash at #3,746 overall; after that, nothing is better than #30,520. Whatever the heart waffle market is buying on Amazon, it is mostly buying Dash.
Six is the highest count here, by one. The sectioned plates make five, or four on the Holstein, and the single-heart Dash makes one. So for a household that wants a stack of hearts quickly, six per batch is the most on offer. The listing calls itself a “Family Waffle Iron”, and that is the use it is built for. It does not say whether the six hearts are separate wells or connected sections, and it does not give a plate size or a size per heart, so you cannot compare each heart with the Dash Heart Mini’s 4-inch surface from the listing alone.
The size and weight are the price of six. The overall dimensions are 13.1 by 10.4 by 4.8 inches, the largest footprint on the page, and the listed weight is 5.8 pounds, the heaviest stated. By our arithmetic, that is about 4.5 times the Dash Heart Mini’s 1.3 pounds, for six times the hearts. The listing still calls it “Space-Saving” and “Perfect for compact kitchens”, which is true only against making six minis one at a time.
Power and plate size are missing. “Just plug in your Mini Waffle Maker, wait for the Indicator Light feature, and enjoy fast, consistent waffles every time.” The light is stated; the wattage is not, and no heat setting is mentioned. The listing claims a “quick heat-up system” without a figure. On a six-heart iron, the wattage matters, because six portions of cold batter draw a lot of heat at once. The listing leaves that unknown.
The coating is named. “PTFE dual nonstick heating Plates” is stated, which is more than most listings here say about what the non-stick actually is. If you are avoiding PTFE, the Euro Cuisine and Paris Hilton make claims in the other direction; our non-toxic waffle maker guide goes into what each claim means. The iron has non-slip feet and is sold by Amazon.com. No warranty is stated.
What to weigh. Buy it to feed several people hearts at once, from the most popular heart iron on the page. Accept the largest footprint, the heaviest listed weight and no wattage figure. If you want one heart for one person, the smaller Dash below is the better buy; for keto chaffles on a single mini plate, our mini waffle maker for chaffles guide goes further.
Pros
- Six hearts per batch, the most here
- Best rank on the page: #8 in Waffle Irons
- Indicator light, stated
- PTFE non-stick plates named
- Sold by Amazon.com
- Non-slip feet
Cons
- Wattage not stated
- Plate and heart size not stated
- 5.8 lb listed, the heaviest here
- Largest footprint: 13.1 x 10.4 in
- No heat control mentioned
- No warranty stated
Best for: A family that wants six hearts per batch from the best-selling heart iron on the page.
9. Dash Heart Mini Waffle Maker, 4-Inch Non-Stick Cooking Surface, Red (DMW001HR) — Best Budget

The only single-heart iron on the page, with a 4-inch surface, a ready light and the second-best rank.
Key Specifications
| Format | Single mini heart |
|---|---|
| Hearts per batch | One (no count printed) |
| Plate size | 4-inch cooking surface, stated |
| Power | Not stated |
| Indicator light | Indicator light, stated |
| Heat control | Not stated |
| Coating | Dual non-stick surfaces; material not named |
| Overall size | About 6.4 x 5.0 x 2.8 in |
| Listed weight | 1.3 pounds |
| Seller | Amazon.com |
| Best Sellers Rank | #3,746 overall; #11 in Waffle Irons |
Why We Recommend It
This is the lone heart the keyword promises. “Dash Heart Mini Waffle Maker, 4-Inch Nonstick Cooking Surface, Red”: one heart-shaped plate, one heart-shaped waffle, one batch at a time. It is the only iron of the ten built that way. The listing does not print the number one, but a 4-inch heart-shaped surface makes a single heart.
Small, light and popular. The overall size is about 6.4 by 5.0 by 2.8 inches, rounded from the listed figures, and the listed weight is 1.3 pounds, the lightest on the page. It ranks #3,746 overall and #11 in Waffle Irons, second only to its six-heart sibling. It is also the lowest-priced iron here. The listing pitches it for “Valentine’s Day, anniversaries, and more”, and its size makes it the easiest of the ten to keep in a drawer for the occasion.
One heart is the whole trade. Where the sectioned plates make five hearts in one batch and the Dash Multi makes six, this makes one. For a single person or a couple, that is no hardship: mini irons are quick, and a 4-inch waffle is a portion. For a family breakfast it means standing at the iron. If you want several hearts at once but like the Dash format, the Dash Multi is the same idea six times over.
The light is stated; the power is not. “The Indicator Light on this customized Waffle Maker lets you know when it’s time to start cooking.” The listing also claims “even heating surface and quick heat-up system” without a figure, and gives no wattage and no heat setting. With one small plate, there is little to set: the only variable is how long the lid stays shut.
It doubles as a chaffle iron. A 4-inch mini plate is the standard size for chaffles, the cheese-and-egg waffles that keto cooks make in mini irons. The listing does not mention them, but nothing about a heart-shaped plate stops it; the hearts just come out heart-shaped. Our mini waffle maker for chaffles guide compares the mini irons sold for that job. The “Dual Nonstick Cooking Surfaces” are not named by material, and the non-slip feet keep it in place.
What to weigh. Buy it if you want one heart at a time, the smallest and lightest iron here, a ready light and Amazon.com as the seller. No warranty is stated. If you want hearts for more than two people, look at the six-heart Dash or a five-heart plate instead.
Pros
- The only single-heart iron here
- 4-inch cooking surface, stated
- 1.3 lb, the lightest listed
- Indicator light, stated
- Second-best rank: #11 in Waffle Irons
- Lowest-priced; sold by Amazon.com
Cons
- One heart per batch
- Wattage not stated
- No heat control mentioned
- Coating material not named
- No heart count printed
- No warranty stated
Best for: One or two people who want a single heart at a time from a small, light, drawer-sized iron.
10. KEINVE Heart Waffle Maker, 750W Double-Side Heating (MF1215) — Watts Stated, Hearts Not

The only listing here that gives a wattage and two lights but no heart count and no plate size.
Key Specifications
| Format | Not stated (“Mini Heart Waffle Maker”) |
|---|---|
| Hearts per batch | Not stated |
| Plate size | Not stated |
| Power | 750W |
| Indicator lights | Power and ready-to-cook, stated |
| Heat control | Not stated |
| Heating | Double-side, stated |
| Overall size | 10.5 x 10.5 x 4.6 in |
| Listed weight | 2.65 pounds |
| Seller | KEINVE Kitchen |
| Best Sellers Rank | #92,517 overall; #171 in Waffle Irons |
Why We Recommend It
This listing answers the questions in reverse. It gives the power, “750W Nonstick Double-side Heating”, and the lights, “Clear power and ready-to-cook indicator lights guide you through the cooking process.” It does not say how many hearts it makes or how large its plate is. On a page sorted by format, that leaves it in a group of its own.
The title says mini; the dimensions do not. “Mini Heart Waffle Maker” suggests the single-heart Dash format. The overall dimensions, 10.5 by 10.5 by 4.6 inches, describe a body much larger than the Dash Heart Mini’s, closer in footprint to the five-heart irons. The listed weight, 2.65 pounds, sits in the same band as the Paris Hilton and the SUNVIVIPRO. None of that tells you what the plate makes. The bullet heading “Create Lovely Heart-Shaped Waffles” uses the plural, which fits either several hearts per batch or several batches. Ask the seller before you order if the count matters.
The power figure is useful on its own. 750W is one of three wattages on the page, between the GVAKMM’s 700W and the UVFAST’s 1000W. Without a plate size, we cannot put it in watts per square inch. As a raw figure, it is enough power for a mini plate to recover fast between batches, and in the same range as the 7-inch GVAKMM. The listing promises waffles “ready in just minutes”, which, like every timing claim here, comes without a number.
Two lights, as on the Holstein. A separate power light and ready light is the clearest signalling on the page, matched only by the Holstein’s “powered on and preheated” pair. No heat setting is mentioned. The plates are non-stick, and the coating is not named. It is described as compact and suited to apartments and dorms.
Popularity is low. It ranks #92,517 overall and #171 in Waffle Irons, ninth of ten, ahead of only the SUNVIVIPRO. It is sold by KEINVE Kitchen, not Amazon.com, and no warranty is stated.
What to weigh. Buy it only if you have confirmed what the plate makes and want a stated 750W and two lights. Until then, it is the one listing here where you cannot tell from the page which of the three heart-waffle formats you are buying, and that is the first question this guide asks.
Pros
- 750W, stated
- Power and ready lights, stated
- Double-side heating
- 2.65 lb listed
- Non-stick plates
- Compact, upright-friendly shape
Cons
- Hearts per batch not stated
- Plate size not stated
- Format unclear despite “Mini” in the title
- No heat control mentioned
- Sold by a third party; low rank
- No warranty stated
Best for: A buyer who has confirmed the heart count with the seller and wants stated watts and two lights.
One Keyword, Three Machines
A heart waffle maker is not one product. On this page it is three, plus one listing that will not say which it is. The difference is not cosmetic: it decides how many people you can feed from one batch, how big each heart is and how the waffle eats.
| Format | How many here | Which ones | Hearts per batch |
|---|---|---|---|
| One plate split into heart sections | 7 of 10 | UVFAST, Euro Cuisine, GVAKMM, GOIMGN, Paris Hilton, SUNVIVIPRO, Holstein | 5 on six of them; 4 on the Holstein |
| Several mini hearts in one iron | 1 of 10 | Dash Multi Mini Heart | 6 |
| A single mini heart | 1 of 10 | Dash Heart Mini | 1 |
| Not stated | 1 of 10 | KEINVE | Not stated |
The sectioned plate is the old format. Thin heart waffles cooked as one round and pulled apart into five hearts are a long-standing Scandinavian breakfast and coffee-table food, and most of the irons sold under this keyword copy that layout. The GOIMGN describes it best: one whole waffle, divided into five heart-shaped pieces. The UVFAST and the Paris Hilton say the same thing from the other side: their plates make five hearts or one whole waffle. On all seven, you pour one batch of batter and get one connected waffle.
The multi-heart iron is a newer idea. The Dash Multi Mini Heart puts six hearts in one iron, which takes the single-heart mini and multiplies it. Its listing does not say whether the six are separate wells or connected; it does say six, the most on the page. The single-heart Dash is the original mini format, a 4-inch plate that makes one waffle at a time.
Sales follow the newer formats. The two Dash machines hold the two best ranks on the page by a wide margin, #1,515 and #3,746 overall. The seven sectioned plates sit between #30,520 and #100,460. Whatever Amazon shoppers mean by a heart waffle maker, they most often buy the Dash version of it.

Hearts per Batch Is Only Half the Count
Six listings say five hearts. That does not mean six identical waffles, because the hearts are cut from plates of different sizes. Only the UVFAST says its figure is a cooking diameter; the others give a plate, a surface, a title figure or nothing. Where a figure is given, here is what it implies for the waffle, by our arithmetic, assuming a full circle of the stated size.
| Iron | Hearts | Plate figure as stated | Circle area, our arithmetic | Per heart, our arithmetic |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| UVFAST | 5 | 8-inch cooking diameter | About 50 sq in | About 10 sq in |
| Euro Cuisine | 5 | 8-inch (title, size field) | About 50 sq in, if a diameter | About 10 sq in, if a diameter |
| GVAKMM | 5 | 7-inch plates | About 38.5 sq in | About 7.7 sq in |
| GOIMGN | 5 | 7-inch (title) | About 38.5 sq in, if a diameter | About 7.7 sq in, if a diameter |
| Paris Hilton | 5 | 6-inch plates | About 28 sq in | About 5.7 sq in |
| SUNVIVIPRO | 5 | Not stated | — | — |
| Holstein | 4 | Not stated (4 Inch size field) | — | — |
| Dash Multi Mini Heart | 6 | Not stated | — | — |
| Dash Heart Mini | 1 | 4-inch surface (heart-shaped) | — | One 4-inch heart |
| KEINVE | Not stated | Not stated | — | — |
The spread is wide. An 8-inch circle has about 78% more area than a 6-inch one, so the UVFAST’s hearts are each nearly twice the size of the Paris Hilton’s, on the same count. A 7-inch plate sits between them, about 36% larger than the 6-inch. The real figures will be a little smaller than these, because the seams between hearts and the rim around the plate take up space, but they shrink in proportion, so the comparison holds.
Four irons give you no way to compare. The SUNVIVIPRO, Holstein, Dash Multi and KEINVE give no usable plate figure. For the Dash Multi, that means you know you get six hearts but not how big each one is; for the Holstein, you know four but not their size. The single-heart Dash gives a 4-inch surface, and since the surface is a heart rather than a circle, we have not turned it into an area.
Total waffle per batch is what feeds people. If you are cooking for four, five hearts of about 10 square inches each is a different breakfast from five of about 5.7. The heart count on the box tells you how many pieces; the plate size tells you how much food. When a listing gives only one of those two numbers, it has told you half of what you need.
Three Wattages, Seven Lights, Three Heat Controls
After hearts and plate size, the two things that decide how easy a heart iron is to use are how fast it recovers heat and how clearly it tells you when to pour. The listings are thinner here than anywhere else.
| Iron | Watts | Indicator light | Heat control |
|---|---|---|---|
| UVFAST | 1000W | Preheating light on lid | 5-setting browning lever; automatic |
| Euro Cuisine | Not stated | Not stated | Adjustable settings |
| GVAKMM | 700W | Green light, goes out when ready | Not stated |
| GOIMGN | Not stated | Not stated | Not stated |
| Paris Hilton | Not stated | Turns green when ready | Not stated |
| SUNVIVIPRO | Not stated | Not stated | Temperature knob |
| Holstein | Not stated | Power and preheated | Not stated |
| Dash Multi Mini Heart | Not stated | Indicator light | Not stated |
| Dash Heart Mini | Not stated | Indicator light | Not stated |
| KEINVE | 750W | Power and ready-to-cook | Not stated |
Three of ten give a wattage. The UVFAST’s 1000W over an 8-inch circle is about 20 watts per square inch, and the GVAKMM’s 700W over a 7-inch circle about 18, both our arithmetic. Those are close, which suggests both irons are powered for their size. The KEINVE’s 750W has no plate figure to set it against. Seven listings, including both Dash machines and the Euro Cuisine, give no wattage at all. Our waffle maker roundup sets out why wattage is the spec that most often separates a quick iron from a slow one.
Seven of ten mention a light. Two, the Holstein and the KEINVE, have separate power and ready lights. The GVAKMM’s light goes out when it is ready; the Paris Hilton’s turns green. The Euro Cuisine, GOIMGN and SUNVIVIPRO do not mention a light. On a thin heart waffle, the ready signal matters most for the first batch, which is the one poured onto a plate that may not be fully hot.
Three of ten let you set the heat. The UVFAST gives a five-setting lever and automatic temperature control, the SUNVIVIPRO a knob, and the Euro Cuisine adjustable settings without a scale. On the other seven, time is the only control. That is common on mini irons, and workable, but it means you learn the iron by its first few batches rather than by a dial.
Only two listings state all four. Hearts, plate size, watts and a light are all printed on the UVFAST and the GVAKMM, and on nothing else. The UVFAST adds the browning control. That is why it heads this guide.
Thin Hearts Cook Fast and Are Best Eaten Soon
As general guidance rather than anything measured from these listings: the sectioned heart waffle is traditionally a thin waffle. A thin waffle has little batter between the plates, so it cooks quickly and browns quickly, and it goes from pale to dark in less time than a deep Belgian waffle. That makes the first batch the one to watch, and it makes a browning control, where there is one, more useful than it is on a thick iron.
Thin waffles also soften quickly once they are off the iron. Steam from the inside has a short way to travel, and with no deep pockets to hold crispness, a thin heart waffle is at its best within a few minutes. In Scandinavia they are often eaten soft, with jam and cream or a slice of brown cheese, which suits that. If you want them crisp, serve them as they come off the iron, or hold finished hearts on a wire rack in a warm oven rather than stacked on a plate, where trapped steam softens them.
None of the ten listings gives a cook time in numbers. The phrases are “in minutes” on the Holstein, “in just minutes” on the GOIMGN and KEINVE, “in mere minutes” on the UVFAST and “in just minutes” again on the GVAKMM. Treat the first waffle as a test, note the time and the colour, and adjust from there. If thick, deep-pocketed waffles are what you are after, a heart iron is the wrong tool; our thick waffle maker roundup covers irons that state their depth.
Batter matters more on a thin iron. A thinner batter spreads into the heart points before the plate sets it, while a thick Belgian batter may leave the tips of the hearts short. Fill to just inside the rim, close the lid, and let the overflow channels on the UVFAST, Euro Cuisine and GOIMGN do their job if you overfill.
What the Coating Claims Say
Five listings make a claim about their non-stick coating, and they are not the same claim.
- PTFE- and PFOA-free: the Euro Cuisine, in its title.
- Made without PFAS or PFOA: the Paris Hilton, in its title. PFAS is the family that includes both PFOA and PTFE.
- PFOA-free: the Holstein and the GVAKMM. The Holstein also says “Non-Toxic Coating” in its title.
- PTFE non-stick, stated: the Dash Multi Mini Heart.
- Not specified: the UVFAST, GOIMGN, SUNVIVIPRO, Dash Heart Mini and KEINVE describe non-stick plates without naming the coating.
PFOA-free is the narrowest claim. PFOA has been phased out of non-stick manufacturing for years, so a PFOA-free claim alone tells you little about what the coating is. The Euro Cuisine and Paris Hilton claims go further. Neither names the replacement coating. Our non-toxic waffle maker guide goes into these labels in detail. None of the ten listings mentions removable or dishwasher-safe plates, so every iron here is a wipe-clean job; if that matters, see our guide to waffle makers with removable plates.
Best Alternatives
| Alternative | Why Consider It | Better For | Main Trade-Off |
|---|---|---|---|
| A round or square full-size waffle maker; see our waffle maker roundup | Stated wattage is far more common | Everyday breakfasts for a family | No hearts |
| A thick Belgian waffle maker; see our thick waffle maker roundup | Deep pockets that hold syrup and stay crisp longer | Crisp, substantial waffles | Slower to cook; no heart shape |
| A plain mini waffle maker; see our mini waffle maker for chaffles guide | The same 4-inch format without the heart | Keto chaffles and single portions | Round, not heart-shaped |
| A stovetop cast iron heart waffle iron | No electrics to wear out; works on a hob | Cooks who want full control of the heat | Needs seasoning and turning by hand |
What Each Step Up Actually Buys
The single heart — Dash Heart Mini. One 4-inch heart, a ready light, 1.3 pounds and the second-best rank on the page. It is the lowest-priced iron here and the simplest. What it does not buy is volume: one waffle per batch.
The small five-heart plates — Paris Hilton, GOIMGN, GVAKMM. Stepping up to a sectioned plate buys five hearts per batch. The 6-inch Paris Hilton buys small hearts and the broadest coating claim; the 7-inch GOIMGN buys the clearest description and a latch; the 7-inch GVAKMM buys the full set of stated specs, 700W and a light, plus a fork and knife.
The large five-heart plates — UVFAST, Euro Cuisine. An 8-inch plate buys hearts about 78% larger than the 6-inch, by our arithmetic. The UVFAST adds 1000W, five browning settings and a preheat light. The Euro Cuisine adds adjustable heat, a three-year warranty and Amazon.com as seller, without a stated wattage or light.
The specialists — Holstein, SUNVIVIPRO, Dash Multi, KEINVE. The Holstein buys four larger hearts, two lights, a lock and a one-year warranty. The SUNVIVIPRO buys a heat knob and a stainless exterior with little else stated. The Dash Multi buys six hearts and the best rank on the page, at 5.8 pounds and the largest footprint. The KEINVE buys a stated 750W and two lights, with no heart count.
Cost does not track completeness. The best-documented iron here, the UVFAST, is not the highest-priced, and the highest-priced iron gives neither a wattage nor a plate size. On this page, the extra you pay goes on format, count and brand more than on stated specs.

What to Check Before You Buy
Decide Which of the Three Formats You Want
A single mini heart, one plate split into four or five hearts, or several mini hearts at once. Seven of these ten are sectioned plates, one is a single heart and one makes six. The KEINVE does not say. Decide first, because the other specs only make sense within a format.
Read the Heart Count With the Plate Size
Five hearts on an 8-inch plate are about 10 square inches each, by our arithmetic; five on a 6-inch plate are about 5.7. The count tells you how many pieces, the plate size how much food. Four listings here give a count without a usable plate size.
Check Whether the Plate Figure Is a Diameter
Only the UVFAST uses the word. Others put a number in the title or size field, and the Holstein’s “4 Inch” cannot be a plate that holds four hearts. Where the overall dimensions are smaller than the claimed plate, as on the GOIMGN’s 6-inch width against its 7-inch title, ask the seller.
Look for a Stated Wattage
Three of ten give one: 1000W, 750W and 700W. On a sectioned plate, power decides how fast the iron recovers between batches. If the listing is silent, you will learn the recovery time from the second batch.
Find Out How the Iron Tells You It Is Ready
Seven mention a light. Some come on, some turn green, and the GVAKMM’s goes out. Two irons have separate power and ready lights. Read the manual for which signal means pour, especially on the first use.
Decide Whether You Need Heat Control
Three of ten let you set the heat: a five-setting lever, a knob and unspecified adjustable settings. Thin heart waffles brown fast, so a control is more useful here than on a deep iron. Without one, time is your only adjustment.
Plan to Eat Them Warm
As general guidance, thin heart waffles cook in a short time and soften soon after they leave the iron. Serve them straight away, or hold them on a rack in a low oven rather than stacked. None of these listings gives a cook time, so time your first batch.

Common Mistakes
- Assuming every heart waffle maker makes one heart. One of these ten does; seven make four or five from one plate, and one makes six.
- Comparing heart counts without plate sizes. Five hearts from an 8-inch plate are about 78% larger than five from a 6-inch one, by our arithmetic.
- Reading a title figure as a cooking diameter. Only the UVFAST says “cooking diameter”; the GOIMGN’s 7-inch title sits on a 6.0-inch listed width.
- Taking “mini” to mean 4 inches. The GVAKMM calls itself mini with 7-inch plates, and the KEINVE’s mini body is 10.5 inches square.
- Assuming a light and a wattage. Three of ten give watts, and three do not mention an indicator light at all.
- Treating “Belgian” on a heart iron as a depth. The SUNVIVIPRO uses the word and gives no pocket depth or plate size.
- Stacking thin waffles on a plate. Thin heart waffles soften quickly as general guidance; a rack keeps steam from building underneath.
- Buying the KEINVE for a number of hearts. It states 750W and two lights but never says how many hearts it makes.
Who Should Buy Which
Buy the UVFAST five-slice if you want every number in writing. It is the only listing that states a cooking diameter, 8 inches, and it adds 1000W, a five-setting browning lever, automatic temperature control and a preheat light. Five hearts or one large waffle. Accept that it lists no weight, is sold by AKCOOK rather than Amazon.com and gives no warranty.
Buy the Euro Cuisine WM520 if warranty and the traditional layout matter most. Five hearts on an 8-inch iron, adjustable heat, PTFE- and PFOA-free plates and a three-year limited warranty, sold by Amazon.com. You will not know its wattage or whether it has a ready light from the listing.
Buy the GVAKMM if you want a fully specified iron in a smaller size. Five hearts, 7-inch plates, 700W and a light that goes out when it is ready, plus a bamboo fork and knife. It has no heat control and was scarce at capture.
Buy the GOIMGN if you want a plain round five-heart iron with a latch. Its listing explains the format best. It gives no watts, light, weight or heat control, and its 7-inch title does not match its 6-inch listed width.
Buy the Paris Hilton if you want small hearts and a broad coating claim. Five mini hearts from 6-inch plates, made without PFAS or PFOA, with a heat indicator that turns green. It is sold by Amazon.com and has the third-best overall rank here.
Buy the SUNVIVIPRO if a heat knob and stainless exterior are your priorities. Five hearts and a temperature control knob, sold by Amazon.com, with a one-bullet listing that leaves plate size, watts and light unstated.
Buy the Holstein if you want four larger hearts for a family kitchen. Power and preheat lights, a cool-touch handle, a safety lock, PFOA-free plates and a one-year warranty, at about 1.98 pounds listed. No wattage or plate size is given.
Buy the Dash Multi Mini Heart if you are feeding several people. Six hearts per batch and the best rank on the page, with an indicator light and Amazon.com as seller. It is the heaviest and largest iron here and gives no wattage. For single-portion chaffles, see our mini waffle maker for chaffles guide.
Buy the Dash Heart Mini if one heart at a time is enough. The only single-heart iron here: a 4-inch surface, a ready light, 1.3 pounds, the second-best rank and the lowest price on the page.
Buy the KEINVE only after asking the seller what the plate makes. It states 750W and power and ready lights, and nothing about hearts per batch or plate size.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a heart shaped waffle maker?
It is an electric waffle iron whose plate makes heart-shaped waffles, and on this page it comes in three formats. Seven of the ten bake one plate split into heart sections: you pour one batch of batter and get one connected waffle that separates into four or five hearts. This is the traditional Scandinavian layout, and GOIMGN describes it as one whole waffle divided into five heart-shaped pieces. One iron, the Dash Multi Mini Heart, makes six hearts at once. One, the Dash Heart Mini, makes a single heart on a 4-inch surface. The tenth, the KEINVE, does not say how many hearts it makes. Which format suits you depends on how many people you are feeding and how large you want each heart. Check the heart count and the plate size together before you buy, because the same word covers very different machines.
How many hearts does a heart waffle maker make?
It depends on the format, and the listings here give 1, 4, 5 and 6. Six of the ten make five hearts per batch: the UVFAST, Euro Cuisine, GVAKMM, GOIMGN, Paris Hilton and SUNVIVIPRO. The Holstein makes four from a sectioned plate. The Dash Multi Mini Heart makes six, the most on the page. The Dash Heart Mini makes one heart on a 4-inch surface. The KEINVE does not state a count. The heart count only tells you how many pieces come out of each batch, not how much waffle. Five hearts from an 8-inch plate are about 10 square inches each, by our arithmetic, while five from a 6-inch plate are about 5.7. So when you compare heart counts, compare plate sizes alongside them. Four listings here give a heart count without a usable plate size.
What size heart waffle maker should I buy?
Decide by how much waffle you want per batch. On the five-heart irons here, stated plates run from 6 inches on the Paris Hilton to 8 inches on the UVFAST and Euro Cuisine, with the GVAKMM and GOIMGN at 7. By our arithmetic, assuming a full circle, an 8-inch plate has about 78% more area than a 6-inch one, so its hearts are almost twice as large. Small hearts suit children, brunch boards and snacks; large hearts make a breakfast plate. Only the UVFAST says its 8 inches is a cooking diameter. The others put the figure in a title, a size field or the word plates, so the exact cooking area is less certain. If you want one heart at a time, the Dash Heart Mini has a 4-inch surface. Check the overall dimensions too, as some listings here give a body narrower than the plate they claim.
Why are heart waffles thin?
The sectioned heart waffle comes from Scandinavia, where it is traditionally a thin, soft waffle eaten with jam, cream or cheese rather than a deep, crisp Belgian one. Most five-heart irons copy that layout, so their plates are shallow. That is general background rather than something these listings measure: none of the ten gives a plate depth. The Holstein describes a thick mold design, and the SUNVIVIPRO calls itself a Belgian waffle maker, but neither gives a depth. A thin waffle cooks quickly, browns quickly and softens soon after it comes off the iron, because steam has a short path out and there are no deep pockets to stay crisp. If you want deep, crisp waffles, a heart iron is the wrong tool, and a thick Belgian maker will suit you better. If you like a soft, foldable waffle, the thin heart is the point.
How long do heart waffles take to cook?
None of these ten listings gives a cook time in numbers. The phrases are in minutes, in just minutes and in mere minutes, which tell you nothing precise. As general guidance, thin heart waffles cook faster than deep Belgian waffles because there is less batter between the plates, and they brown quickly once they start. Treat your first batch as a test: wait for the ready light where the iron has one, pour, close the lid and check early. Note the time and colour, then adjust. On irons with heat control, the UVFAST with its five-setting browning lever, the SUNVIVIPRO with its knob and the Euro Cuisine with adjustable settings, you can also change the temperature. On the other seven, time is the only adjustment. Steam slowing down from the edges is a common cue that a waffle is nearly done.
Do heart waffle makers have an indicator light?
Seven of these ten listings mention one, and three do not. The Holstein and the KEINVE have separate power and ready lights. The UVFAST has a preheating light on top of the lid. The Paris Hilton’s heat indicator turns green when it is ready. The GVAKMM works the other way round: its green light goes out when the plate is ready. The Dash Heart Mini and Dash Multi Mini Heart each state an indicator light. The Euro Cuisine, GOIMGN and SUNVIVIPRO listings do not mention a light, which does not prove they have none, but means you cannot count on one. On a thin heart waffle, the ready signal matters most for the first batch, which is the one most likely to go onto a plate that is not fully hot. Read the manual to learn which signal means pour.
How many watts should a heart waffle maker have?
Only three of these ten listings state a wattage: the UVFAST at 1000W, the KEINVE at 750W and the GVAKMM at 700W. By our arithmetic, the UVFAST’s 1000W over its 8-inch cooking diameter is about 20 watts per square inch, and the GVAKMM’s 700W over its 7-inch plates about 18. Those are close, which suggests both are powered for their size. The KEINVE gives no plate size, so its figure cannot be put on the same footing. Seven listings, including both Dash machines and the Euro Cuisine, give no wattage at all. Wattage matters mainly for how fast the plate recovers between batches, because cold batter draws heat out of the plate every time. On a six-heart iron like the Dash Multi, where a lot of batter goes in at once, that recovery matters more, and its listing does not say.
How do I keep heart waffles crisp?
As general guidance, eat them as they come off the iron, because thin heart waffles soften quickly. If you are making several batches, set finished hearts on a wire rack in a low oven rather than stacking them on a plate, where trapped steam softens the bottom layer. Do not cover them. A slightly longer cook gives more colour and more crispness on a thin waffle, which is where a browning control helps; the UVFAST, SUNVIVIPRO and Euro Cuisine let you set the heat, and the other seven leave you with time only. Batter makes a difference too: one with a little more fat or some cornflour tends to crisp better than a thin pancake batter. Remember that the traditional Scandinavian heart waffle is often eaten soft, with jam and cream. If you want crispness above all, a deep Belgian iron will hold it longer.
Final Verdict
The only stated cooking diameter, 8 inches, with 1000W, five browning settings, a preheat light and five hearts.
Six hearts per batch, the most here, with an indicator light and the best rank on the page.
The only single-heart iron: a 4-inch surface, a ready light, 1.3 lb listed and the second-best rank.
Seldom does the best heart shaped waffle maker bake a lone heart. Of these ten, one makes a single heart, the Dash Heart Mini. Seven bake one plate split into heart sections, five hearts on six of them and four on the Holstein. One, the Dash Multi, makes six. The KEINVE does not say. Before any spec, decide which of those three machines you want.
Then read the heart count with the plate size. Five hearts from an 8-inch plate are almost twice the size of five from a 6-inch one, by our arithmetic. Only one listing calls its figure a cooking diameter, and four give no usable plate size at all.
Then look for watts and a ready light. Three of ten state a wattage and seven mention a light. Only two, the UVFAST and the GVAKMM, state hearts, plate size, watts and a light together. As general guidance, thin heart waffles cook fast and are best eaten soon, so a browning control and a clear ready signal earn their place.
If you buy one heart waffle maker from this page, make it the UVFAST five-slice: the only stated cooking diameter here, 8 inches, with 1000W, five browning settings and a preheat light. If you are feeding a family, the six-heart Dash Multi is the best-selling heart iron on the page; if one heart at a time is enough, the Dash Heart Mini is the smallest, lightest and lowest-priced.
