Hooks Outnumber Spatulas in the Best Griddle Accessory Kits

Affiliate Disclosure: As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. This does not affect the price you pay.

Every kit on this page sells itself by a number. 14PCS, 20Pcs, 27pcs, 29 PCS, 35PCS, 38PCS. The Blackstone is a 22-Piece, the Cuisinart a 24-Piece, the Weber a 5‑Piece. Read the itemised lists inside the bullets, though, and the number starts to mean something else. Hanging hooks, squeeze bottles, spice shakers, egg rings, corn holders, a carry bag and, on two kits, the gift box all count as pieces.

So we counted the metal. For each kit we took the seller’s own itemised list and pulled out the long-handled metal tools you actually cook and clean with: spatulas, turners and flippers, scrapers, choppers, tongs, forks, knives and a ladle. The burger press and the basting dome went in a separate column. Everything else is what we call filler in this guide: useful, sometimes, but not what a griddle kit is for. These counts are our arithmetic from the listings, not a figure any seller prints.

The 5-to-38 spread collapses to 3-to-10. The EWFEN’s 35 pieces include ten metal tools, the most on the page. The Cuisinart’s 24 include nine. The Terlulu’s 29 include eight. Then comes a crowd at six and seven. And the kit with the biggest number on the box, the N NOBLE FAMILY 38PCS, holds six metal tools: three spatulas, a chopper, a fork and tongs. That is exactly the same count as the Deedro 14PCS, the lowest-priced kit on the page, which ships no hooks at all.

Hooks outnumber spatulas in six of the ten kits. Grilliance ships 8 hooks and 4 spatulas. EWFEN, 10 hooks and 6 spatulas. N NOBLE FAMILY, 10 hooks and 3 spatulas. ROMANTICIST, 10 and 4. Terlulu, 8 and 4. HaSteeL, 8 and 5, although HaSteeL is the one seller that leaves its hooks out of its piece count. In four of those kits the hooks outnumber every metal tool combined, and in two more they match them. Across the page there are 54 hooks and 39 spatulas, counting turners and flippers as spatulas.

And almost nothing is said about the spatulas themselves. For a buyer who wants the best spatula for griddle work, the specs that matter are blade thickness, blade size, the edge and the handle. One listing, HaSteeL’s, gives a thickness: “solid, 1.5mm thick stainless steel” with “45°beveled edges” and a “full-tang riveted structure”. One listing, Blackstone’s, gives a length: 16 inches. No listing gives a blade width or a steel grade. Everything else is “premium”, “heavy gauge” or “enlarged”.

Popularity follows the big number. The three best-ranked kits on Amazon, Grilliance at #1 in Barbecue Tool Sets, EWFEN at #2 and N NOBLE FAMILY at #5, list 27, 35 and 38 pieces. All three ship more hooks than spatulas. The three brand-name kits, Weber, Blackstone and Cuisinart, are all sold by Amazon.com and rank #57, #35 and #221 in the same category.

So this guide sorts the ten by what is left when the filler comes out. Star ratings and review counts were not captured for this roundup; popularity below is Amazon’s Best Sellers Rank only. All ten listings were captured on 5 October 2026, when they ranked from #1 to #221 in Barbecue Tool Sets and from #307 to #75,171 overall.

Best Sellers Ranks and specifications are taken from each manufacturer’s Amazon listing as displayed on 5 October 2026 through a United States connection, and may change. Metal-tool and spatula counts are our arithmetic, taken from each seller’s itemised list. We count spatulas, turners and flippers as spatulas; metal tools add scrapers, choppers, tongs, forks, knives and ladles. Burger presses, patty makers and basting domes are counted separately, and hooks, bottles, shakers, egg rings, brushes, pads, corn holders, meat claws, bags and boxes as filler. The Blackstone’s bullets name only six utensils for a kit sold as 22 pieces, and its NumberOfItems field says 1, as the Weber’s does. The Cuisinart itemises 23 pieces against 24 in its title; the HaSteeL’s 20 excludes its 8 hooks and screwdriver; the ROMANTICIST states 29 in its title only. Three kits were sold by Amazon.com at capture: Weber, Blackstone and Cuisinart. Star ratings and review counts were not captured for any product here.

How We Chose These Ten

We researched current listings, compared manufacturer specifications and documentation, and read each kit’s itemised contents line by line. We did not carry out hands-on testing, and nothing below is presented as measured performance data. Star ratings and review counts were not captured for this roundup. We used Amazon Best Sellers Rank, buy-box stock and listing specifications instead, and nothing on this page describes or implies how owners have scored these kits.

  • Multi-piece griddle kits only — every product here is sold as a set of tools for a flat top griddle, from 5 pieces to 38. Single spatulas, single scrapers and covers were not in the running. If you are still choosing the griddle itself, start with our propane griddle guide.
  • Every piece logged from the seller’s own list — we copied each itemised list exactly, then sorted every item into metal tools, cooking hardware (presses, patty makers, domes) and filler. Where a listing does not itemise, as with 16 of the Blackstone’s 22 pieces, we say so rather than guess.
  • Counts labelled as ours — tool counts, spatula counts, filler counts and every share or ratio are our arithmetic, not a seller’s figure.
  • Spatula specs recorded where they exist — blade thickness, length, edge, steel and handle construction, quoted as written. Where a listing says nothing, the table says “Not stated”.
  • Conflicts reported, not resolved — where a title, a bullet and a spec field disagree on how many pieces a kit holds, we print both numbers.
  • Popularity from Best Sellers Rank only — ranks are quoted exactly as returned on 5 October 2026, overall and in Barbecue Tool Sets, where Amazon filed all ten. Ranks move constantly.
  • Verified stock and seller — each product was the buy-box offer and in stock on amazon.com on 5 October 2026. Weber, Blackstone and Cuisinart were sold by Amazon.com; the other seven by their own brand storefronts.

The Ten Griddle Accessory Kits in Detail

1. EWFEN 35PCS Griddle Accessories Kit, Flat Top Grill Accessories Set for Blackstone and Camp Chef — Best Overall

Why We Recommend It

Strip out the hooks and the bottles and this is still the biggest tool kit on the page. The listing’s own inventory reads: “1* long griddle spatula, 1* long slotted spatula, 1* large burger turner, 1* slant edge scraper, 1* small spatula, 1* griddle flipper, 1* slotted turner, 1* griddle press, 1* grill tongs, 1* sauce brush, 1* chopper, 2* spice shakers, 2* squeeze bottles, 4* egg rings, 1* cleaning brush, 10* hooks, 1* meat knife, 2* basting cover, 1* storage bag, 1* gift box.” Pull the long-handled metal out of that and you get ten tools: six spatulas and turners, a scraper, a chopper, tongs and a meat knife. No other kit here reaches ten. The Cuisinart, the dearest kit on the page, gets to nine.

Six spatulas is a real spread of shapes, not six copies. A long spatula and a long slotted spatula for moving volume, a large burger turner for smash burgers, a small spatula for eggs and edges, a flipper and a slotted turner. The slotted pieces let fat drain off bacon and hash browns; the large turner handles a full patty. Nothing in the listing tells you blade widths or thickness, so you are relying on “Enlarged Spatulas” in the title and the claim that the steel will not bend: “without worry about your tools bending, breaking or rusting again”. It is a claim, not a specification. If blade thickness is your priority, the HaSteeL is the only kit here that states one.

Then the count gets padded, like everyone’s. Twenty-two of the 35 pieces are what we call filler: 10 hooks, 4 egg rings, 2 squeeze bottles, 2 spice shakers, a sauce brush, a cleaning brush, a storage bag and the gift box itself. The two basting covers and the press make up the rest. The 10 hooks alone outnumber the six spatulas, which is the pattern in six of these ten kits. The basting covers are the one place this kit doubles up usefully: two domes let you melt cheese on two burgers or steam two batches at once.

The copy is shared with another kit on this page. Four of the EWFEN’s five bullets appear word for word on the Deedro 14PCS listing, from “Compared with other stainless steel on the market” to “Egg rings and pepper shakers to enhance your griddle cooking experience.” The itemised lists differ, and so do the model numbers, xike-0066US here and Dee-8964US on the Deedro. The shared text fits the EWFEN’s contents better: this kit actually includes the shakers and hangers the copy mentions.

What to weigh. Sold by EWFEN US, #700 overall and #2 in Barbecue Tool Sets. By our arithmetic, ten tools out of 35 stated pieces is about 29% metal, and no kit here matches its six spatula shapes. The listing gives no handle material, no blade dimensions and no weight; the listed dimensions are 13.0 by 10.0 by 3.0 inches. The Grilliance costs exactly the same and ships seven metal tools to this kit’s ten.

Pros

  • 10 metal tools by our count, the most here
  • Six spatula shapes, two of them slotted
  • Separate scraper and chopper, plus a meat knife
  • Two basting covers and a press
  • Three more tools than the same-priced Grilliance
  • Dishwasher safe, stated

Cons

  • 22 of 35 pieces are filler by our count
  • 10 hooks outnumber the 6 spatulas
  • No blade thickness or width stated
  • Handle material not stated
  • Gift box counted as a piece
  • Bullets shared word for word with another kit

Best for: A first-time griddle owner who wants the widest set of metal tools for the money and does not mind binning the gift box.

2. HaSteeL Griddle Accessories Kit, 20Pcs Flat Top Grill Accessories for BBQ — Best Spatulas

Five matte stainless steel griddle spatulas with black riveted handles arranged in a fan beside two steel melting domes

Seller HaSteeL
Best Sellers Rank #15,910 overall; #43 in Barbecue Tool Sets

Why We Recommend It

If you are shopping for the best spatula for griddle cooking and want the kit to come with it, this is the only listing that gives you a number to judge. The first bullet is about the blade, not the box: “Griddle spatulas are crafted from solid, 1.5mm thick stainless steel, ensuring exceptional resistance to rust, heat and bending, 45°beveled edges make turning, lifting, and cooking much easier, Matte finished surface for effortless cleaning.” Thickness, edge geometry and finish, in one sentence. No other kit on the page states a blade thickness at all. N NOBLE FAMILY says “thick stainless steel” and Terlulu says “heavy gauge”, but neither puts a figure on it.

The handle is described as carefully as the blade. “Premium ABS plastic handle with full-tang riveted structure is much more resistant to wobbling or shaking.” Full tang means the steel runs the length of the handle rather than stopping in a socket, and rivets hold the handle scales to it. On a spatula that gets levered under a stuck patty, the joint between blade and handle is the usual weak point, and this is the only listing that says how its joint is built. The 45° bevel is the other detail that matters: a thin leading edge slides under a crust instead of pushing it.

Five spatulas, and an honest count. The contents: “5 diverse Metal Spatulas, 2 Cheese Melting Domes, 1 Cast Iron Press, 1 Scraper Chopper, 1 BBQ Tong, 1 Silicone Brush, 2 Egg Rings, 2 Squeeze Bottles, 2 Pepper Shakers, 2 Cleaning Brushes, 1 Portable Bag, Plus a Screwdriver and 8 Hooks”. Add the named items up and you get 20 before the word “Plus”, and 29 after it. HaSteeL could have called this a 29-piece kit, as two rivals with fewer metal tools do. It did not. It is the only seller on the page that leaves its hooks out of the headline.

The trade-off is a combined scraper and chopper. Where the EWFEN, Grilliance, Terlulu, ROMANTICIST and Deedro each have a separate slant-edge scraper and a chopper, HaSteeL has one “Scraper Chopper” that the listing says “can easily cut, chop food or scrape griddles clean”. That gives seven metal tools by our count: five spatulas, the scraper chopper and the tong. One tool doing two jobs means cleaning the plate and dicing onions with the same blade, one after the other.

The hardware is generous. Two “11.4” Basting covers”, the only dome size stated on the page apart from the Cuisinart’s 9 inches, and a cast iron press with grooves. The listed weight is 8.33 pounds, the heaviest on the page; whether that is the kit or its shipping box is not stated, but cast iron and thick blades would account for a good part of it. The listing never says the kit is dishwasher safe, and the cast iron press would not be in any case. It also does not say what the included screwdriver is for.

What to weigh. Sold by HaSteeL, #15,910 overall and #43 in Barbecue Tool Sets, so far less bought than the top three. You give up a separate scraper and a dishwasher claim. You get the only spatula specification on the page, and the confidence that comes with a seller who printed it.

Pros

  • Only stated blade thickness: 1.5mm stainless
  • 45° bevelled edges and matte finish
  • Full-tang riveted ABS handles
  • Five metal spatulas
  • Two 11.4 in domes and a cast iron press
  • Hooks not padded into the piece count

Cons

  • Scraper and chopper combined in one tool
  • Dishwasher safety not stated
  • Blade lengths and widths not stated
  • 8 hooks still in the box
  • Purpose of the screwdriver not explained
  • #43 in category, far behind the leaders

Best for: A cook who cares most about the spatulas and wants a stated blade thickness and handle construction before buying.

3. Deedro 14PCS Griddle Accessories Kit, Flat Top Grill Accessories Set for Blackstone and Camp Chef — Best Budget

Three stainless steel griddle spatulas, a slant edge scraper, a chopper and tongs on a wooden surface beside two squeeze bottles

Six metal tools in the lowest-priced kit here, the same count as the 38-piece kit, with a scraper that kit leaves out.

Key Specifications

Material Stainless steel

Dishwasher safe Yes, stated
Listed weight 3.26 pounds
Seller deedro us
Best Sellers Rank #5,358 overall; #13 in Barbecue Tool Sets

Why We Recommend It

This is what a griddle kit looks like with almost nothing added to make the number bigger. The full list: “1* long slotted spatula, 1* long griddle spatula, 1* small spatula, 1* slant edge scraper, 1* chopper, 1* cleaning brush, 1* sauce brush, 2* egg rings, 2* squeeze bottles, 1* grill tongs, 1* storage bag, 1* gift box.” That is six metal tools out of 14 pieces, 43% by our arithmetic, the second-highest share on the page after the Weber. There are no hooks at all.

Six tools is the same as the kit with 38 pieces. The N NOBLE FAMILY 38PCS also holds six metal tools by our count: three spatulas, a chopper, a fork and tongs. The Deedro has three spatulas, a scraper, a chopper and tongs. Swap the fork for a scraper and they are the same tool kit, and the scraper is the more useful of the two on a flat top, because it is how you clean the plate. The extra 24 pieces on the 38PCS are mostly hooks, corn holders, meat claws and a press and domes. For less money, the Deedro gives you the tools and leaves out the rest.

The copy promises things the box does not contain. Four of the five bullets are word for word the same as the EWFEN 35PCS listing. That text says “Convenient hangers are provided for easy storage” and “Egg rings and pepper shakers to enhance your griddle cooking experience.” The Deedro’s itemised 14 include no hooks and no shakers. It is a small thing, but it is the kind of contradiction that tells you to trust the itemised list over the marketing paragraph, on this kit and on any other. Even the colour field reads “balck”.

No press, no dome. This is the one budget kit without any cooking hardware. If you smash burgers, you will want a press or a heavy spatula and a dome for cheese; the Terlulu adds both plus two more metal tools. Two of the 14 pieces are the storage bag and the gift box, so the kit you actually use is 12 items. The listed weight is 3.26 pounds, the lightest plausible weight on the page.

What to weigh. Sold by deedro us, #5,358 overall and #13 in Barbecue Tool Sets, the fourth-best rank on the page. It is the cheapest way here to get a scraper, tongs and three spatulas, and dishwasher safe is stated. Add a press and a dome later if you need them.

Pros

  • Lowest-priced kit on the page
  • Six metal tools, matching the 38-piece kit
  • Separate scraper and chopper
  • No hooks padding the count
  • 43% of pieces are metal tools by our count
  • Dishwasher safe, stated

Cons

  • No burger press or basting dome
  • No wide burger turner
  • Bag and gift box are 2 of the 14 pieces
  • Copy mentions hangers and shakers it lacks
  • No blade or handle specs stated
  • Bullets shared with another kit

Best for: A buyer who wants the core metal tools for the least money and will add a press or dome only if they need one.

4. Cuisinart 24-Piece Griddle Tool Set with Storage Tote, CGS-9318 — Most Spatula Shapes

A grey storage tote with stainless steel griddle spatulas, tongs and a scraper tucked into its pockets on a patio table

Nine metal tools, including a fish spatula and a round turner, from the dearest kit on the page.

Key Specifications

Pieces stated 24 (title and NumberOfItems); 23 itemised by our count
Metal tools (our count) 9: 2 griddle spatulas, round turner, XL spatula, fish spatula, tongs, knife, carving fork, scraper
Cooking hardware 9 in melting dome; smash burger press
Filler (our count) 12 itemised: basting brush, 2 squirt bottles, 4 egg rings, scour pad handle, 2 scour pads, salt and pepper shakers
Storage Storage tote; dome, bottles and press stored separately
Spatula specs stated Not stated
Material Stainless steel
Dishwasher safe Not stated
Listed weight 7.71 pounds
Seller Amazon.com
Best Sellers Rank #75,171 overall; #221 in Barbecue Tool Sets

Why We Recommend It

The Cuisinart has the second-largest metal tool count on the page, and the widest range of spatula shapes. The contents: “2 griddle spatulas, round turner, XL spatula, fish spatula, tongs, basting brush, knife, carving fork, scraper, 9” melting dome, smash burger press, 2 squirt bottles, 4 eggs rings, scour pad handle & 2 scour pads, and salt & pepper shakers.” By our count that is nine metal tools, of which five are spatulas. Only the EWFEN has more.

The fish spatula is the unusual piece. No other kit here includes one. A fish spatula is thin, slotted and flexible, made to slide under delicate food, which on a griddle means eggs, pancakes and fish fillets. The Weber’s “Flexible Griddle Spatula” does a similar job; nothing else on the page names a flexible blade. With a round turner and an XL spatula alongside two standard griddle spatulas, this is the most varied set of blades here, even if the listing gives no dimensions for any of them.

The count is 24 in the title and 23 in the list. Add up the itemised contents and you get 23. The 24th is presumably the storage tote named in the title, but the INCLUDES bullet does not say so. More useful is what the tote does not hold: “Melting dome, squirt bottles, and smash burger press must be stored separately.” So the bulkiest items need their own shelf. Twelve of the 23 itemised pieces are filler by our count: a basting brush, two squirt bottles, four egg rings, a scour pad handle with two pads, and two shakers.

The spec sheet is thin for the price. “Quality stainless steel utensils designed for heavy-duty use and easy cleaning” is the whole material statement. No blade thickness, no handle material, no dishwasher claim, no warranty. The listed weight is 7.71 pounds and the dimensions 16.92 by 4.52 by 11.02 inches, which may describe the tote rather than a flat box; the listing does not say.

What to weigh. Sold by Amazon.com, #75,171 overall and #221 in Barbecue Tool Sets, the lowest rank on the page by a long way. It is the dearest kit here, and it still has one fewer metal tool than the EWFEN. You are paying for the Cuisinart name, the fish spatula and a tote. If the flexible blade is the reason, the Weber gets you one for less, with a stated 2 year warranty.

Pros

  • 9 metal tools by our count, second-most here
  • Only fish spatula on the page
  • Round turner and XL spatula too
  • Knife and carving fork included
  • No hooks padding the count
  • Sold by Amazon.com

Cons

  • The dearest kit here
  • One fewer metal tool than the EWFEN
  • 24 in title, 23 itemised
  • Tote will not hold dome, bottles or press
  • No blade, handle or dishwasher specs
  • #221 in Barbecue Tool Sets

Best for: A cook who wants a flexible fish spatula and a varied set of blades, and is happy to pay for a brand name and a tote.

5. Terlulu 29 PCS Griddle Accessories Kit, Flat Top Grill Accessories for Blackstone and Camp Chef — Best-Described Press

Stainless steel griddle spatulas with hanging loops, a round cast iron burger press with a wooden handle and a steel dome on a flat top

Eight metal tools and a 7-inch cast iron press, the only press on the page with a stated size.

Key Specifications

Pieces stated 29 (title)
Metal tools (our count) 8: long spatula, slotted spatula, grill turner, griddle spatula, scraper, chopper, tongs, fork
Cooking hardware Basting cover; cast iron burger press, about 7 in, wooden handle
Filler (our count) 19: 8 hooks, 4 egg rings, 2 squeeze bottles, 2 spice shakers, basting brush, cleaning brush, carry bag
Spatula specs stated “Heavy gauge stainless steel”; thickness not stated
Handles Heat-resistant plastic; hanging loop on spatulas and scraper
Dishwasher safe Yes, stated
Listed weight 7.17 pounds
Seller Terlulu
Best Sellers Rank #8,787 overall; #27 in Barbecue Tool Sets

Why We Recommend It

Eight metal tools puts this kit third on the page, behind only the EWFEN and the Cuisinart. The list: “Basting Cover, Burger Press, Long Spatula, Slotted Spatula, Grill Turner, Griddle Spatula, Scraper, Griddle Chopper, Grill Tongs, Grill Fork, Basting Brush, 2 Squeeze Bottle, 4 Egg Rings, 2 Spice Shakers, 8 Hanging Hooks, Cleaning Brush, Carry Bag.” By our count, eight metal tools: four spatulas and turners, a scraper, a chopper, tongs and a fork. Both of those kits cost more, and the Cuisinart a great deal more.

The press is the best-described one here. “The cast iron burger press is round shape about 7 inch diameter and perfect for burgers, bacon, vegetables and steaks.” It is the only press on the page with a stated size, and the listing adds that it is “made with heavy-duty cast iron and the wooden handle is solidly installed”. A 7-inch round is big enough to flatten two smash patties side by side or hold a strip of bacon flat. Cast iron needs drying and a wipe of oil after washing; the listing calls the kit dishwasher safe in general, which is worth not taking literally for the press.

The spatulas get adjectives, not numbers. “Heavy gauge stainless steel, Rust-proof and anti-corrosion”, with “extra long handles” of heat-resistant plastic. Heavy gauge is not a measurement; it could mean 1.5mm or 1mm. What the listing does say is useful: “each has a practical hanging loop for easy hanging to dry and storage”. With loops on the tools themselves, the 8 hanging hooks become optional rather than essential.

The count is padded in the usual places. Nineteen of the 29 pieces are filler by our arithmetic: 8 hooks, 4 egg rings, 2 squeeze bottles, 2 spice shakers, a basting brush, a cleaning brush and the carry bag. The 8 hooks are double the 4 spatulas. The kit’s only stated piece count is in the title; the spec table has no NumberOfItems field, and its model field simply reads “29”.

What to weigh. Sold by Terlulu, #8,787 overall and #27 in Barbecue Tool Sets. It costs a little less than the EWFEN and has two fewer metal tools and one dome instead of two, but a better-described press. The listed weight is 7.17 pounds.

Pros

  • 8 metal tools, third-most on the page
  • Only press with a stated size: about 7 in, cast iron
  • Hanging loop on every spatula and the scraper
  • Separate scraper and chopper
  • Heat-resistant plastic handles
  • Dishwasher safe, stated

Cons

  • 19 of 29 pieces are filler by our count
  • 8 hooks to 4 spatulas
  • “Heavy gauge” with no thickness given
  • Only one basting cover
  • No NumberOfItems field; count in title only

Seller UNIAO
Best Sellers Rank #307 overall; #1 in Barbecue Tool Sets

Why We Recommend It

This is the kit most people buy, and it is built around burgers. It ranks #1 in Barbecue Tool Sets and #307 overall, far ahead of anything else here. The contents: “1*Extra-wide Burger Spatula, 2*Professional Regular Long Spatulas, 1*Rounded Burger Flipper, 1*Slant Edge Scraper, 1*Horizontal Chopper, 1*Locking Tongs, 1* Basting Cover, 1* Round Cast Iron Burger Press, 1*Burger Patty Maker, 1*Silicone Basting Brushes, 1*Cleaning Pad with Handle, 2*Leak-Free Liquid Dispensers, 2*Spice Shakers, 2*Egg Rings, 8*Hanging Hooks, 1*Portable Bag with Gift Box.”

Seven metal tools, three pieces of burger hardware. By our count: an extra-wide burger spatula, two long spatulas, a rounded burger flipper, a slant-edge scraper, a horizontal chopper and locking tongs. Then a basting cover, a round cast iron press and a patty maker. It is the only kit on the page with a patty maker, a mould for forming even patties before they hit the plate. If you make burgers from mince most weekends, the press, the patty maker, the wide spatula and the dome make a complete line.

Hooks still beat spatulas. Eight hanging hooks against four spatulas, and seventeen of the 27 pieces are filler by our arithmetic. The bag and gift box count as one piece here, where the EWFEN and Deedro count them as two. Locking tongs are a small plus over plain tongs: they close for storage, which matters in a carry bag.

The same money buys more metal elsewhere. The EWFEN costs exactly the same and has ten metal tools to the Grilliance’s seven, plus a second basting cover. What the Grilliance has instead is the patty maker and a stated cast iron press. The listing is clear about caring for that press: “Hand wash recommended for the cast iron burger press. Please remember to wipe each tool dry before storage and rub some oil on the cast iron.” That is sound advice and more than most listings give.

The claims outrun the specs. The listing says “every piece of the hibachi cooking utensils is strong enough to handle the stress of any busy commercial kitchen without deformation or broken”. It gives no blade thickness, no steel grade and no handle material to back that up; the handle is “heat resistant and long enough for safe cooking”. No weight is stated. There is a “money-back guarantee for any unsatisfied orders”, which is a seller promise, not a warranty term.

What to weigh. Sold by UNIAO, a third-party seller. Buy it for the burger hardware, especially the patty maker. If you want the most tools for the money instead, the EWFEN is the same price with three more.

Pros

  • #1 in Barbecue Tool Sets, #307 overall
  • Only patty maker on the page
  • Extra-wide burger spatula and cast iron press
  • Separate scraper and chopper; locking tongs
  • Clear care instructions for cast iron
  • Dishwasher safe apart from the press

Cons

  • 8 hooks to 4 spatulas
  • 17 of 27 pieces are filler by our count
  • Three fewer metal tools than the same-price EWFEN
  • No blade or handle specs stated
  • Commercial-kitchen claim not backed by a spec
  • No weight stated

Best for: A burger-focused cook who wants a press, a patty maker and a wide spatula in one bag.

7. N NOBLE FAMILY 38PCS Griddle Accessories Kit, Professional Grill Tools Set — Highest Piece Count

A black carry bag spilling out griddle spatulas, tongs, corn holders, egg rings and a row of metal hanging hooks

The biggest number on the page, six metal tools, and no scraper named among them.

Cooking hardware Burger press; 2 basting covers
Filler (our count) 29: 10 hooks, 8 corn holders, 2 meat claws, 2 egg rings, 2 squeeze bottles, 2 spice shakers, basting brush, cleaning brush, carry bag
Scraper Not named
Spatula specs stated “Thick stainless steel”; thickness not stated
Handles Heat-resistant plastic
Dishwasher safe Not stated
Listed weight 5.29 pounds
Seller N NOBLE FAMILY
Best Sellers Rank #2,187 overall; #5 in Barbecue Tool Sets

Why We Recommend It

38 pieces is the largest count on the page, and it holds the joint-smallest set of metal tools after the Weber. The list: “1 Long Spatula, 1 Long Slotted Spatula, 1 Small Spatula, 1 Griddle Chopper, 1 Meat Fork, 1 Kitchen Tongs, 1 Basting Brush, 2 Squeeze Bottles, 10 Hooks, 1 Cleaning Brush, 2 Egg Ring, 2 Meat Claws, 1 Burger Press, 8 Corn Holders, 2 Spice Shakers, 2 Basting Cover and 1 Carry Bag.” By our count, six metal tools: three spatulas, a chopper, a fork and tongs. That ties the 14-piece Deedro, the ROMANTICIST and the Blackstone’s six named utensils.

Ten hooks and eight corn holders are 18 of the 38. That is nearly half the kit by count. Corn holders are the small two-pronged spikes you push into the ends of a cob; meat claws are for shredding cooked pork. Neither is a griddle tool, and together with the hooks they make up 20 pieces. Twenty-nine of the 38 are filler by our arithmetic, the highest share on the page, and the 10 hooks outnumber the 3 spatulas by more than three to one.

There is no scraper on the list. Every other kit with a chopper also names a scraper, or, on the HaSteeL, a combined scraper chopper. The N NOBLE FAMILY names a griddle chopper and a cleaning brush, and the listing never says the chopper scrapes. A slant-edge scraper is the tool you use most on a flat top, to push grease to the trough and clear the plate between batches. You may be able to use the chopper’s edge for it, but the listing does not claim so.

The count sells. #5 in Barbecue Tool Sets and #2,187 overall, the third-best rank on the page, behind only the 27-piece Grilliance and the 35-piece EWFEN. On the evidence of the ranks, a big number on the box helps a kit sell, whatever is inside it.

What to weigh. Sold by N NOBLE FAMILY, with no dishwasher claim and no press size. If you grill corn and pulled pork as well as griddle cooking, the extras have a use. If not, the Deedro gives you the same number of metal tools, with a scraper, for less money.

Pros

  • 38 pieces, the largest count here
  • Two basting covers and a burger press
  • Long slotted spatula for draining
  • Meat fork and tongs included
  • Heat-resistant plastic handles
  • #5 in Barbecue Tool Sets

Cons

  • Only 6 metal tools by our count
  • No scraper named
  • 10 hooks to 3 spatulas
  • 8 corn holders and 2 meat claws in the count
  • No blade thickness or press size stated
  • Dishwasher safety not stated

Best for: A cook who also grills corn and shreds pork and wants hooks for a tool rail; not a buyer counting griddle tools.

8. ROMANTICIST 29PCS Griddle Accessories Set, Flat Top Teppanyaki Spatula Set with Scraper — Best Rectangular Press

Two long stainless teppanyaki spatulas, a wide burger spatula and a rectangular grill press resting on a flat top griddle

Four spatulas, a scraper and a chopper, a rectangular press, and no tongs at all.

Key Specifications

Pieces stated 29 (title only)
Metal tools (our count) 6: 2 long teppanyaki spatulas, extra-wide burger spatula, burger flipper, slant edge scraper, horizontal chopper
Cooking hardware Basting cover; rectangle grill press
Filler (our count) 21: 10 hooks, 2 scouring pads, 2 squeeze bottles, 2 salt shakers, 2 basting brushes, 2 egg rings, portable bag
Tongs None listed
Spatula specs stated Not stated
Handles Heat-resistant; material not stated
Dishwasher safe Yes, stated
Listed weight 5.62 pounds
Seller ROMANTICIST-CY
Best Sellers Rank #6,288 overall; #17 in Barbecue Tool Sets

Why We Recommend It

A spatula-heavy kit with one surprising gap. The list: “2 x long teppanyaki spatulas, 1 x extra-wide burger spatula, 1 x burger flipper, 1 x slant edge scraper, 1 x horizontal chopper, 1 x basting cover, 1 x rectangle grill press, 2 x scouring pad, 2 x squeeze bottles, 2 x salt shakers, 2 x basting brushes, 10 x hooks, 2 x egg rings and 1 x portable bag”. By our count, six metal tools: four spatulas, a scraper and a chopper. There are no tongs and no fork. It is one of only two kits on the page without tongs, and the other is the 5-piece Weber.

Tongs matter more on a griddle than you might think. Sausages, asparagus, peppers and anything round roll when you push them with a spatula. Tongs turn them. Every other kit with more than five pieces includes a pair. If you buy this one, budget for tongs separately.

The press is the distinctive piece. Every other press on the page is round or unspecified. This one is a “rectangle grill press”, a shape that flattens bacon strips, sandwiches and paninis along their length rather than in a circle. No size or material is given. With one basting cover alongside it, the hardware count is two, level with the Terlulu and Cuisinart.

Ten hooks, again. Twenty-one of the 29 pieces are filler by our arithmetic: 10 hooks, two scouring pads, two squeeze bottles, two salt shakers, two basting brushes, two egg rings and the bag. The hooks outnumber the four spatulas by more than two to one. The 29 appears in the title only; the spec table has no NumberOfItems field. The cleaning side is better stocked than most, with two scouring pads alongside the scraper, and the listing says the tools take “a quick dishwasher cycle”.

What to weigh. Sold by ROMANTICIST-CY, #6,288 overall and #17 in Barbecue Tool Sets. It costs a little more than the Terlulu, which adds tongs and a fork. Buy it if the rectangular press and paired teppanyaki spatulas are what you want, and add tongs.

Pros

  • Only rectangular press on the page
  • Two teppanyaki spatulas for paired work
  • Extra-wide burger spatula and flipper
  • Separate scraper and chopper
  • Two scouring pads for cleanup
  • Dishwasher safe, stated

Cons

  • No tongs
  • 10 hooks to 4 spatulas
  • 21 of 29 pieces are filler by our count
  • Piece count in title only
  • No blade, handle or press specs stated
  • Dearer than the Terlulu, which has tongs

Best for: A teppanyaki-style cook who works with paired spatulas and wants a rectangular press for bacon and sandwiches.

9. Blackstone Pro 22-Piece Griddle Tool Kit 5179 — Longest Stated Tools

Long-handled stainless griddle spatulas, tongs, a fork and a ladle with black handles laid on a griddle side shelf

The only kit that states a tool length, 16 inches, and the only one that never lists most of its pieces.

Key Specifications

Pieces stated 22 (title); “6 grilling utensils” and “six piece” (bullets); NumberOfItems 1
Metal tools named 6: 16 in BBQ spatula, 16 in tongs, 16 in fork, extra long and wide griddle spatula, extra long griddle spatula, 16 in ladle
Other pieces 16 not itemised; bullet says “multiple spatulas, scrapers, squeeze bottles”
Tool length 16 in, stated for 4 of 6 utensils
Handles Extra long, heat resistant plastic
Material Stainless steel and “quality composite”
Dishwasher safe Yes, stated
Listed weight 5.86 pounds
Seller Amazon.com
Best Sellers Rank #11,441 overall; #35 in Barbecue Tool Sets

Why We Recommend It

This listing describes a six-piece utensil set and sells a 22-piece kit. The second bullet: “This griddle gift set features 6 grilling utensils, including a 16 inch BBQ spatula, 16 inch grill tongs, 16 inch fork, an extra long and wide griddle spatula, an extra long griddle spatula, and a 16 inch ladle.” The fifth calls it “Blackstone’s six piece classic outdoor cooking utensils set”. The sixth and last says “COMPLETE 22-PIECE ACCESSORY KIT: This comprehensive tool kit includes multiple spatulas, scrapers, squeeze bottles, and other essential griddle accessories”. And the NumberOfItems field says 1.

So 16 of the 22 pieces are never named. The listing promises scrapers and squeeze bottles in that last bullet, but neither appears among the six utensils it describes in detail. We cannot tell from the data what the other 16 pieces are, how many of them are scrapers, or whether any are hooks or egg rings. We count the six named utensils as metal tools, and that is all the listing lets us count. Before buying, check the box contents in the product images or ask, because a griddle kit without a confirmed scraper is missing its most-used tool.

The lengths are the most useful spec here. Four of the six utensils are stated at 16 inches, and the two griddle spatulas are “extra long”. No other kit on the page gives a tool length at all. On a large propane griddle with burners going full, a 16-inch tool keeps your hand further from the heat, and the listing leans on that: “extra long handles made of heat resistant plastic, your hands stay safe and comfortable while cooking.” The listed height of 17.0 inches fits tools of that length.

The Blackstone name carries a lot here. If you own a Blackstone griddle, this is the maker’s own kit, and the listing says it “will compliment your Blackstone griddle as well as your Weber, Charbroil, Coleman or any other barbeque or grill”. Four third-party kits on this page also name Blackstone in their titles. The spec table files it under the Automotive binding, which is a listing quirk, not a product feature.

What to weigh. Sold by Amazon.com, #11,441 overall and #35 in Barbecue Tool Sets, and the second-dearest kit on the page. You get the only stated tool lengths and a ladle. You do not get a list of what you are paying for.

Pros

  • Only stated tool length: 16 in
  • Extra long heat-resistant plastic handles
  • Ladle, unique on the page
  • Blackstone own-brand kit
  • Dishwasher safe, stated
  • Sold by Amazon.com

Cons

  • 16 of 22 pieces never itemised
  • Bullets say six pieces; title says 22; field says 1
  • No scraper among the named utensils
  • No press or dome named
  • Second-dearest kit here, for six named tools
  • No blade thickness or width stated

Best for: A Blackstone owner with a large griddle who wants long-reach tools and is willing to check the box contents first.

10. Weber Griddle Essential Tool Set, 5-Piece, 6776 — Best Minimal Set

A stainless griddle spatula, a flexible spatula, a scraper and two squeeze bottles laid out on a clean flat top

Three metal tools and two bottles, no padding, and the only stated warranty on the page.

Key Specifications

Pieces stated 5 (title and bullet); NumberOfItems 1
Metal tools (our count) 3: griddle spatula, flexible griddle spatula, griddle scraper
Cooking hardware None
Filler (our count) 2 squeeze bottles, BPA free plastic and silicone
Spatula specs stated Flexible blade on one spatula; dimensions not stated
Handles No-slip, easy grip; hang loop
Material Stainless steel
Dishwasher safe Yes, all pieces, stated
Warranty 2 year
Seller Amazon.com
Best Sellers Rank #19,175 overall; #57 in Barbecue Tool Sets

Why We Recommend It

Five pieces, and every one of them is named, explained and used. “Includes: Griddle Spatula, Flexible Griddle Spatula, Griddle Scraper and Griddle Squeeze Bottles (2).” Three metal tools and two bottles. No hooks, no egg rings, no gift box. At 60% metal tools by our arithmetic, it has the highest share on the page, simply because it does not add anything else.

The listing explains each tool’s job. “SPATULA: Flipping and moving heavier food with ease”. “SCRAPER: Effectively removes grease and grime”. “FLEXIBLE SPATULA: Easily slides under delicate foods”. That division of labour is the core of griddle cooking: a stiff spatula for burgers and hash, a flexible one for eggs and pancakes, and a scraper to keep the plate clean. Only the Cuisinart’s fish spatula offers a comparable thin blade; no other kit here names a flexible spatula.

The handles get a real description. “Stainless-steel material and no-slip, easy grip handle on spatulas and scraper”, plus a “HANG LOOP: Handle loop to hang right next to your grill or griddle”. The loop does the job the other kits sell hooks for. “All pieces are dishwasher safe”, and the bottles are “BPA free plastic and silicone”. There is no blade thickness and no length.

It is the only kit with a stated warranty. The spec table says “2 year”. No other listing on the page states one; Grilliance offers a money-back promise and Terlulu a 24-hour reply, which are not the same thing. The NumberOfItems field says 1, not 5, which is how Amazon often records a boxed set. The listed weight is not usable, so we have left it out; the listed dimensions are 17.13 by 12.21 by 3.86 inches.

The missing tools are tongs and a chopper. Three tools is the smallest set here. There are no tongs, so round food is harder to turn, and no chopper, though a stiff spatula edge can portion most things. There is no press or dome. The copy is written for a Weber griddle owner: “juicy smashed burgers with caramelized onions are just the beginning of what you can create on your Weber Griddle”.

What to weigh. Sold by Amazon.com, #19,175 overall and #57 in Barbecue Tool Sets. You are paying for a brand, a warranty and a kit with nothing in it you will throw away. The lower-priced Deedro has twice the metal tools, including tongs, but no flexible spatula.

Pros

  • Every piece named and explained
  • Flexible spatula for eggs and pancakes
  • No-slip handles with hang loops
  • 2 year warranty, the only one stated
  • All pieces dishwasher safe, stated
  • Sold by Amazon.com

Cons

  • Only 3 metal tools
  • No tongs or chopper
  • No press or dome
  • Dearer than kits with twice the tools
  • No blade dimensions stated
  • NumberOfItems field says 1

Best for: A Weber griddle owner who wants a stiff spatula, a flexible spatula and a scraper with a warranty, and nothing else.

Counting the Metal: 243 Pieces, 68 Tools

The first job was to put every kit on the same footing. Below, each seller’s itemised list is sorted into three groups. Metal tools are long-handled utensils you cook or clean with: spatulas, turners and flippers, scrapers, choppers, tongs, forks, knives and a ladle. Hardware is burger presses, patty makers and basting domes. Filler is everything else: hooks, squeeze bottles, shakers, egg rings, brushes, pads, corn holders, meat claws, bags and boxes. All counts are our arithmetic from the listings.

Kit Pieces stated Metal tools Hardware Hooks Other filler Spatulas
N NOBLE FAMILY 38 6 3 10 19 3
EWFEN 35 10 3 10 12 6
Terlulu 29 8 2 8 11 4
ROMANTICIST 29 6 2 10 11 4
Grilliance 27 7 3 8 9 4
Cuisinart 24 (23 itemised) 9 2 0 12 5
Blackstone 22 (6 itemised) 6 named None named Not stated Not itemised 3 named
HaSteeL 20 7 3 8, not counted 10 5
Deedro 14 6 0 0 8 3
Weber 5 3 0 0 2 2

The stated counts add up to 243 pieces, and 68 of them are metal tools. That is about 28% by our arithmetic, and it includes only the six utensils the Blackstone actually names. Strip the counts back to tools and the 5-to-38 spread becomes 3-to-10. The kit with the largest number is in the bottom group for tools; the kit with ten tools is second for pieces.

Piece count does not predict tool count. Six metal tools come in kits of 14, 22, 29 and 38 pieces. Seven come in kits of 20 and 27. The 24-piece Cuisinart beats both 29-piece kits. If you sort these ten by the number on the box, you get almost no information about what you will cook with.

Hooks are the single biggest filler item. Six kits ship hooks, eight or ten at a time, 54 in all; HaSteeL alone leaves its 8 out of its headline count. In four kits, N NOBLE FAMILY, ROMANTICIST, Grilliance and HaSteeL, the hooks outnumber every metal tool combined. In two more, EWFEN and Terlulu, they match them exactly. Hooks hang tools from a griddle’s side rail or a shelf, which is useful, but two of the ten kits, Terlulu and Weber, put hanging loops on the tools themselves instead.

Stainless kitchen utensils hanging from metal S-hooks on a rail
Six kits ship 8 or 10 hooks each; in all six, hooks outnumber spatulas.

What the Listings Say About the Spatulas

The spatula is the tool you use every time you cook on a flat top, and the one a kit is mostly bought for. For anyone looking for the best spatula for griddle use, the specs that matter are blade thickness, which governs stiffness, blade width and length, the leading edge, the steel and how the handle is fixed. Here is everything the ten listings say about those things.

Kit Spatulas (our count) Types named Thickness Length Handle
EWFEN 6 Long, long slotted, large burger turner, small, flipper, slotted turner Not stated Not stated Not stated
HaSteeL 5 “5 diverse Metal Spatulas” 1.5mm; 45° bevel Not stated ABS, full-tang riveted
Cuisinart 5 2 griddle, round turner, XL, fish Not stated Not stated Not stated
Terlulu 4 Long, slotted, grill turner, griddle “Heavy gauge” “Extra long handles” Heat-resistant plastic; loop
Grilliance 4 Extra-wide burger, 2 long, rounded flipper Not stated Not stated Heat resistant
ROMANTICIST 4 2 long teppanyaki, extra-wide burger, flipper Not stated Not stated Heat-resistant
N NOBLE FAMILY 3 Long, long slotted, small “Thick” Not stated Heat-resistant plastic
Deedro 3 Long slotted, long griddle, small Not stated Not stated Not stated
Blackstone 3 16 in BBQ, extra long and wide griddle, extra long griddle Not stated 16 in (BBQ spatula) Heat resistant plastic
Weber 2 Griddle, flexible griddle Not stated Not stated No-slip grip; hang loop

One thickness, one length, no widths. HaSteeL’s 1.5mm is the only blade thickness on the page. Blackstone’s 16 inches is the only length. Not one listing states a blade width, which is the measurement that decides whether a spatula can lift a whole smash patty or a pancake in one move. Not one names a steel grade. Every kit says stainless steel; the qualifiers are “premium”, “high quality”, “thick” and “heavy gauge”.

Thickness is a trade-off, not a race. A thick, stiff blade is what you want for smashing burgers and scraping under a crust. A thin, flexible blade is what you want for eggs, pancakes and fish. That is why the Weber pairs a stiff spatula with a flexible one, and why the Cuisinart’s fish spatula is a genuine addition. A kit of five identical stiff spatulas would be worse than a kit of two different ones. Only two listings, Weber and Cuisinart, name a thin or flexible blade.

Handle construction is where spatulas usually fail, and only one listing describes it. HaSteeL’s “full-tang riveted structure” tells you the steel runs through the handle and is fixed with rivets. Everyone else describes the handle’s heat resistance or grip but not how it attaches. Every spatula handle on the page is plastic, composite or of unstated material; the only wooden handle is on the Terlulu’s press.

Slots and wide blades are the useful variety. EWFEN has two slotted pieces, for draining bacon fat and hash browns. Grilliance and ROMANTICIST each have an extra-wide burger spatula; EWFEN a large burger turner; Cuisinart an XL spatula; Blackstone an extra long and wide one. If smash burgers are the point, look for that wide blade in the list, and if you want a deeper look at burger gear, see our electric griddle for smash burgers guide.

Scrapers, Tongs and the Tools Kits Leave Out

A big piece count suggests nothing is missing. In practice, three of these kits lack a tool most griddle cooks reach for every session.

Kit Scraper Chopper Tongs Fork, knife or ladle Press Dome
EWFEN Yes Yes Yes Meat knife Yes 2
HaSteeL Combined scraper chopper Combined Yes None Cast iron 2, 11.4 in
Deedro Yes Yes Yes None None None
Cuisinart Yes None Yes Knife, carving fork Smash burger press 1, 9 in
Terlulu Yes Yes Yes Fork Cast iron, about 7 in 1
Grilliance Yes Yes Locking None Cast iron, plus patty maker 1
N NOBLE FAMILY Not named Yes Yes Meat fork Yes 2
ROMANTICIST Yes Yes None None Rectangle 1
Blackstone Not among named six Not named 16 in Fork, ladle Not named Not named
Weber Yes None None None None None

The scraper is the tool to check first. It is how a flat top stays usable: grease to the trough, debris off between batches, a clean plate for the next cook. Seven kits name a scraper outright and HaSteeL names a combined scraper chopper. N NOBLE FAMILY, the 38-piece kit, does not name one. Blackstone’s bullet promises “scrapers” among its 22 pieces, but none is among the six utensils it describes.

Tongs are the second. ROMANTICIST and Weber have none. On a griddle, tongs turn sausages, peppers and anything else that rolls, and they lift food into a bun or onto a plate without flipping it. A pair is cheap to add, but you should know you need to.

Presses and domes are where the cheaper kits are generous. Seven of the ten include a press, and seven include at least one dome. Of the three without either, two are the brand-name Weber and Blackstone, as itemised. If you smash burgers or melt cheese, a kit with both saves buying them separately; if you mostly cook breakfast, they are filler of a heavier kind.

Stacked double cheeseburgers with thin smashed patties and melted cheese
Seven kits include a press, but only one states its size: about 7 inches.

Popularity Follows the Number on the Box

Star ratings were not captured for this roundup, so the only popularity measure here is Amazon’s Best Sellers Rank, as returned on 5 October 2026. All ten are ranked in Barbecue Tool Sets. Ranks move constantly, so read the order, not the precise numbers.

Kit Overall rank Barbecue Tool Sets Pieces stated Metal tools (ours) Hooks vs spatulas
Grilliance #307 #1 27 7 8 vs 4
EWFEN #700 #2 35 10 10 vs 6
N NOBLE FAMILY #2,187 #5 38 6 10 vs 3
Deedro #5,358 #13 14 6 0 vs 3
ROMANTICIST #6,288 #17 29 6 10 vs 4
Terlulu #8,787 #27 29 8 8 vs 4
Blackstone #11,441 #35 22 6 named Not stated
HaSteeL #15,910 #43 20 7 8 vs 5
Weber #19,175 #57 5 3 0 vs 2
Cuisinart #75,171 #221 24 9 0 vs 5

The top three all list 27 or more pieces, and all three ship more hooks than spatulas. Grilliance, EWFEN and N NOBLE FAMILY hold the #1, #2 and #5 spots in the category. Between them they carry 28 hooks and 13 spatulas. Of the three, only the EWFEN also leads on metal tools. Rank measures recent sales, not quality, but on this evidence a big number on the box sells kits.

The honest kits do not get a reward. The Deedro, with no hooks and the second-highest share of tools, ranks #13. HaSteeL, the one seller that left its hooks out of its count and the only one to state a blade thickness, ranks #43. Precision in a listing does not, on this page, translate into sales.

What Each Step Up in Tools Buys

Three tools — Weber. A stiff spatula, a flexible spatula and a scraper, plus two squeeze bottles and a stated 2 year warranty. That is the minimum working set for a flat top, and nothing in the box is filler. What it lacks is tongs and a chopper, and there is no press or dome.

Six tools — Deedro, N NOBLE FAMILY, ROMANTICIST, Blackstone. The step from three to six usually adds tongs, a chopper and a third spatula. But the four kits at six are not the same six. The Deedro has a scraper and tongs and no hardware at all. The N NOBLE FAMILY adds a press and two domes but names no scraper. The ROMANTICIST has a rectangular press and a scraper but no tongs. The Blackstone names a fork, a ladle and 16-inch reach, and leaves 16 pieces unlisted. At six tools, the question is which tool is missing.

Seven tools — HaSteeL and Grilliance. Seven buys either better-described spatulas or more burger gear. The HaSteeL’s five spatulas are the only ones on the page with a stated thickness, 1.5mm, paired with a combined scraper chopper and a tong. The Grilliance has four spatulas, a separate scraper and chopper, locking tongs and the only patty maker here.

Eight to ten tools — Terlulu, Cuisinart, EWFEN. The top step adds a fork, a knife or more spatula shapes. The Terlulu’s eight include a fork and the only press with a stated size. The Cuisinart’s nine include a knife, a carving fork and the only fish spatula. The EWFEN’s ten include six spatulas, two of them slotted, a separate scraper and chopper, and a meat knife.

Price does not track tools. The dearest kit, the Cuisinart, has one fewer metal tool than the EWFEN. The Weber, the third-dearest, has half the tools of the lowest-priced kit, the Deedro. What the brand-name tier adds is a name, a warranty on the Weber and a tote on the Cuisinart, not more metal.

What to Check Before You Buy

Count the Metal Tools Yourself

Ignore the number in the title. Find the itemised list in the bullets and count the spatulas, scrapers, choppers, tongs and anything else with a long metal blade or head. On this page that turns 5 to 38 pieces into 3 to 10 tools. If a listing does not itemise, as with 16 of the Blackstone’s 22 pieces, ask what is in the box.

Make Sure There Is a Scraper

The scraper keeps a flat top usable between batches and at the end of a cook. Eight of ten kits here name one, counting HaSteeL’s combined scraper chopper. The 38-piece N NOBLE FAMILY does not, and the Blackstone’s six named utensils do not include one.

Look for Two Kinds of Spatula

A stiff spatula for burgers and hash, and a thin or flexible one for eggs and pancakes. Only the Weber names a flexible spatula and only the Cuisinart a fish spatula. Several kits add an extra-wide burger spatula, which is the shape that lifts a whole smash patty.

Read the Spatula Specs, If There Are Any

Blade thickness, width, edge and handle fixing are the specs that matter, and almost no listing gives them. HaSteeL’s 1.5mm blades with 45° bevels and riveted full-tang handles are the only full description here. Treat “heavy gauge” and “thick” as adjectives, not measurements.

Check for Tongs

ROMANTICIST and Weber include none. Tongs turn round food that rolls under a spatula and plate food without flipping it. If your chosen kit lacks them, add a pair to the order.

Decide Whether You Need a Press and a Dome

Seven kits include a press and seven a dome. The Terlulu states a 7-inch cast iron press; the HaSteeL states 11.4-inch domes and the Cuisinart a 9-inch one. If you smash burgers or melt cheese, buy a kit with both. If you mostly cook breakfast, a lighter kit without them, like the Deedro, costs less.

Check the Washing Rules

Seven listings state dishwasher safe; HaSteeL, N NOBLE FAMILY and Cuisinart do not. Cast iron presses should be hand washed, dried and oiled whatever the listing says, as Grilliance’s spells out. Dry steel tools after washing; two listings here warn about rust if you do not.

Common Mistakes

  • Choosing by piece count. The 38-piece N NOBLE FAMILY holds six metal tools by our count, the same as the 14-piece Deedro.
  • Assuming a big kit includes a scraper. The 38-piece kit names none, and the Blackstone’s six described utensils include none.
  • Counting hooks as tools. Six kits ship 8 or 10 hooks; across the page that is 54 hooks against 39 spatulas.
  • Taking “heavy gauge” as a spec. Only HaSteeL states a blade thickness, 1.5mm; every other kit uses adjectives.
  • Buying five stiff spatulas and no flexible one. Only the Weber and the Cuisinart name a thin or flexible blade for eggs and pancakes.
  • Forgetting tongs. The 29-piece ROMANTICIST and the 5-piece Weber include none.
  • Trusting the marketing paragraph over the list. The Deedro’s copy promises hangers and pepper shakers its itemised 14 pieces do not contain.
  • Paying for the name without checking the box. The Blackstone, the second-dearest kit here, itemises 6 of its 22 pieces.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the best griddle accessory kits?

For most people, the EWFEN 35PCS. By our count from its itemised list it holds ten metal tools, the most on the page: six spatulas and turners, a slant-edge scraper, a chopper, tongs and a meat knife, plus a press and two basting covers. It ranks #2 in Barbecue Tool Sets. If the spatulas matter most, the HaSteeL 20Pcs is the only kit that states a blade thickness, 1.5mm, with 45° bevelled edges and riveted full-tang handles. On a tight budget, the Deedro 14PCS, the lowest-priced kit here, has six metal tools including a scraper and tongs, the same number as the 38-piece N NOBLE FAMILY kit. Whatever you choose, count the metal tools in the itemised list rather than trusting the piece count in the title; on this page, piece counts of 5 to 38 hide tool counts of 3 to 10.

What is the best griddle accessory set for a beginner?

A beginner needs four things first: a stiff spatula, a scraper, tongs and a pair of squeeze bottles for oil and water. A second, wider spatula for burgers and a thinner one for eggs come next. The Deedro 14PCS covers the first list with three spatulas, a slant-edge scraper, a chopper, tongs and two bottles, and no hooks. If you want a press and dome from the start, the Terlulu adds a stated 7-inch cast iron press, a basting cover, a fork and an extra spatula. The EWFEN is the most complete, with ten metal tools by our count. Avoid paying extra for 30-plus pieces on the assumption that more is safer: the 38-piece kit here has no scraper named, the one tool a beginner uses every single cook.

What is the best spatula for griddle cooking?

It depends on the job, which is why the best kits include more than one shape. For smash burgers and hash you want a stiff, wide blade with a sharp front edge; for eggs and pancakes, a thinner, flexible one. Of the ten kits here, only HaSteeL states a blade thickness: 1.5mm stainless steel with 45° bevelled edges and a full-tang riveted ABS handle, across five spatulas. Only Blackstone states a length, 16 inches for its BBQ spatula. Only the Weber names a flexible griddle spatula and only the Cuisinart a fish spatula, the two thin blades on the page. For burgers, look for an extra-wide burger spatula or large turner, which Grilliance, ROMANTICIST, EWFEN and Cuisinart include. No listing states a blade width or steel grade, so if those matter to you, buy a single spatula with a full spec sheet alongside a kit.

How many pieces do I actually need in a griddle kit?

Fewer than the boxes suggest. By our count from the itemised lists, these ten kits hold between 3 and 10 metal tools, even though they advertise 5 to 38 pieces. A practical working set is two or three spatulas of different shapes, a scraper, tongs and two squeeze bottles, which is roughly six to eight items. Everything above that is either extra cooking hardware, such as a burger press or a basting dome, or filler: hooks, egg rings, shakers, brushes, corn holders, bags and boxes. Across the page, the stated counts add up to 243 pieces, of which 68 are metal tools, about 28% by our arithmetic. The 14-piece Deedro and the 38-piece N NOBLE FAMILY carry the same six metal tools. So rather than asking how many pieces, ask which tools: make sure there is a scraper, tongs and at least two kinds of spatula.

Why do griddle kits include so many hooks?

Because hooks are cheap, small and count as pieces. Six of the ten kits ship them, eight or ten at a time, 54 in total. In those six, hooks outnumber the spatulas every time, and in four kits they outnumber every metal tool combined. Hooks do have a use: they hang tools from a griddle’s side rail, a shelf or a towel bar, so the tools dry and stay within reach. But two kits manage without them by putting loops on the tools: Terlulu’s spatulas and scraper each have a hanging loop, and the Weber’s handles do too. HaSteeL ships 8 hooks but is the only seller that leaves them out of its headline count, calling its kit 20 pieces rather than 29. When comparing kits, subtract the hooks first; it changes the order more than any other single item.

Do I need a burger press and a basting dome?

Only if you cook the food they are for. A press flattens smash burgers, holds bacon flat and presses sandwiches; a dome traps steam to melt cheese, finish eggs or steam vegetables on the plate. Seven of the ten kits include a press and seven include at least one dome. The Terlulu’s press is the only one with a stated size, about 7 inches round, in cast iron with a wooden handle. ROMANTICIST’s is rectangular, which suits bacon and paninis. Grilliance adds a patty maker for forming even burgers. HaSteeL and Cuisinart are the only kits that state dome sizes, 11.4 and 9 inches. If you mostly cook pancakes and eggs, a kit without them, such as the Deedro, saves money and weight. Cast iron presses should be hand washed and oiled, whatever the kit’s general dishwasher claim.

Will these kits fit a Blackstone griddle?

Yes, in the sense that matters: hand tools are not fitted to a particular griddle, so any spatula, scraper or tongs will work on any flat top. Four third-party kits here, Grilliance, EWFEN, Deedro and Terlulu, name Blackstone in their titles, and four, EWFEN, Deedro, ROMANTICIST and Terlulu, name Camp Chef. The Blackstone Pro 22-Piece is the maker’s own kit, and its listing says it will work with Weber, Charbroil, Coleman and other grills as well. What does vary is reach. On a large propane griddle, longer tools keep your hand further from the heat; Blackstone’s are the only ones with a stated length, 16 inches. Hooks, where included, are designed to hang from a side rail or shelf, so check your griddle has somewhere for them to go before counting them as useful.

Final Verdict

Best OverallEWFEN 35PCS Griddle Accessories Kit

Ten metal tools by our count, six spatulas, a scraper, chopper, tongs and knife, plus a press and two domes.

Best SpatulasHaSteeL 20Pcs Griddle Accessories Kit

Five spatulas of stated 1.5mm stainless with 45° bevels and riveted full-tang handles.

Best BudgetDeedro 14PCS Griddle Accessories Kit

Six metal tools including a scraper and tongs, no hooks, in the lowest-priced kit here.

Ten griddle kits advertise 5 to 38 pieces, and once the filler comes out they hold 3 to 10 metal tools. Across the page, 243 stated pieces include 68 tools by our count. Hooks outnumber spatulas in six kits, 54 to 26 in those six, and in four of them the hooks outnumber every metal tool combined. The 38-piece kit holds the same six tools as the 14-piece Deedro, and names no scraper.

The spatulas are barely described. One listing states a blade thickness, HaSteeL’s 1.5mm. One states a length, Blackstone’s 16 inches. None states a blade width or a steel grade. Only two name a thin or flexible blade, the Weber and the Cuisinart. If you are buying a kit for its spatulas, those four facts are all the page gives you.

So choose a kit by its tool list, not its number. Check for a scraper, tongs and two kinds of spatula first, decide whether you need a press and a dome, and treat everything else as extras. The best-selling kits are the ones with the biggest counts; the most metal tools are not where the biggest counts are.

If you buy one kit from this page, make it the EWFEN 35PCS: ten metal tools by our count, six of them spatulas, with a separate scraper and chopper, tongs, a knife, a press and two domes. If the spatulas themselves matter more than the number of them, the HaSteeL costs a little less and is the only kit here that tells you how they are made.
