A mason jar vacuum sealer is a small battery pump with a rubber cup on the bottom. You put a flat lid on a jar, press the cup over it, and the pump pulls air out from under the lid until the lid is held down by the air outside. It is a good way to keep coffee, nuts, rice, crackers and dried herbs from going stale. It is not canning, and it cannot be. Nothing in the jar is heated, so nothing in the jar is sterilised.
Read the ten listings on this page and seven of them use the word anyway. UNERVER’s M11 is sold as a “Jar Vacuum Sealer for Canning Jars” and Amazon files it in Canning. Mason Genie’s title names “Regular Mouth and Wide Mouth Canning Jars”. KITOOL’s title says “Vacuum Canning Sealer Machine”. UNERVER’s M12 calls itself an “Automatic Canning Vacuum Sealer” and Dicorain a “canning vacuum sealer”. Roboseal pitches itself to “canners” and as “Ideal during canning season”. Plateful goes furthest: it says it “simplifies home canning” and is ideal for “dry canning vacuum sealer tasks”.
Here is the general guidance, plainly. USDA guidance is that food meant to sit on a shelf at room temperature should be preserved with a tested canning method: a boiling water bath for high-acid foods such as most jams and pickles, and a pressure canner for low-acid foods such as vegetables, meat and beans. Pulling air out of a cold jar does neither. Taking out oxygen slows staling and some spoilage, but the bacteria behind botulism do not need oxygen; they thrive in exactly the airless, moist, low-acid conditions a sealed jar of leftovers or garlic in oil can create. So anything moist that you vacuum seal in a jar still belongs in the fridge or freezer, on the same clock as if you had not sealed it.
That is the lens for this guide. Every one of these ten is a dry-goods and fridge tool. Judged as that, the listings differ in things you can actually check: whether they state a vacuum figure, whether the pump stops by itself, what powers it and how many jars a charge covers, and what comes in the box. Only one, Konatly, states a kPa figure. Four state a clear auto-stop, and a fifth claims one in its title that its own bullets contradict. Three give a battery capacity, two give a number of jars per charge, and one gives no power information at all.
The box contents are nearly identical. Eight of the ten say they include five wide-mouth lids and five regular-mouth lids. Plateful says ten lids without the split, and Roboseal, the outlier, says 50: 25 of each size. Every one claims to fit both mouth sizes. Most do it with a converter, a twist adapter, a rotating attachment or two separate heads; Attikbiz says it fits both “without twist adapters”, and Plateful and Roboseal do not say how.
Some of the listings share their words. UNERVER’s two listings borrow sentences from LOVE MOMENT’s. Attikbiz’s bullets follow Mason Genie’s almost heading for heading, from “POPULAR KITCHEN INNOVATION” to “ECONOMICAL & SUSTAINABLE”, though the model numbers differ and the two disagree on whether you need an adapter. We flag every case in the detail cards, because shared copy tells you nothing about which pump is better.
So this guide sorts the ten by what each listing lets you verify, and by how honestly it describes what a jar vacuum sealer does. Star ratings and review counts were not captured for this roundup; popularity below is Amazon’s Best Sellers Rank only.
All ten were captured on 5 October 2026. Their overall Best Sellers Ranks run from #112 to #39,971, and the best-selling sealer on the page, LOVE MOMENT’s, is one of the three that never says canning.

Best Sellers Ranks and specifications are taken from each manufacturer’s Amazon listing as displayed on 5 October 2026 through a United States connection, and may change. “Not clearly stated” means the listing says the sealer is automatic or one-touch but never says the pump stops by itself. LOVE MOMENT’s title says “One Touch Auto-Pause”, but its bullets say clicking the button again closes the sealer; both are reported. Konatly’s -80 kPa is the only vacuum figure on the page, printed as a negative gauge reading. Jar counts per charge are the sellers’ own, and Konatly adds “depending on can size”; Mason Genie says only “dozens of seals”, and UNERVER’s M12 gives a run time, about 5 hours, rather than a count. Roboseal’s title says 50 lids, but one bullet heading calls it a “10-LID KIT”. “Says canning” counts any use of the word in the title or bullets, including “canning jars”. Ranks are overall Best Sellers Ranks as returned on 5 October 2026. Star ratings and review counts were not captured for any product here.

How We Chose These Ten
We researched current listings, compared manufacturer specifications and documentation, and read each listing’s claims about its vacuum, its power, its adapters and its food-storage uses line by line. We did not carry out hands-on testing, and nothing below is presented as measured performance data. Star ratings and review counts were not captured for this roundup. We used Amazon Best Sellers Rank, buy-box stock and listing specifications instead, and nothing on this page describes or implies how owners have scored these sealers.
- Electric jar sealers only — every product here is a cordless or rechargeable pump that sits on a mason jar lid. Hand pumps, bag sealers with a hose port and chamber machines were not in the running; our countertop vacuum sealer roundup and chamber vacuum sealer roundup cover those.
- New units only — every buy box here was a new product, in stock on amazon.com, at capture.
- Vacuum recorded exactly as printed — a kPa figure where one exists, and “Not stated” where the listing uses words such as “powerful” or “stronger suction”. Any percentage of air removed is our arithmetic, set against standard sea-level air pressure of 101.3 kPa.
- Auto-stop counted only when stated — “automatic”, “one-touch” and “auto sealing” describe starting the pump, not stopping it. We credit an auto-stop only where the listing says the pump stops or shuts off by itself, and we report conflicts.
- Power and per-charge figures logged — battery capacity, charging connector, jars per charge and any run or charge time, each as stated. Where a listing says only “cordless” or “rechargeable”, we say so and no more.
- Box contents counted — wide-mouth and regular-mouth lids, adapters or heads, labels, openers and cables, as listed. Jars are not included with any of the ten.
- Canning language flagged — every use of the word “canning” in a title or bullet is recorded. A vacuum pump does not heat the jar, so it is not a canning method, and we say so wherever a listing implies otherwise. This is general food-safety guidance, not a test result.
- Model numbers compared — where two listings share a model field, or repeat each other’s text and dimensions, we flag the pair.
- Popularity from Best Sellers Rank only — ranks are quoted exactly as returned on 5 October 2026. Nine are ranked in Vacuum Sealers; the UNERVER M11 is ranked in Canning.

The Ten Mason Jar Vacuum Sealers in Detail
1. Konatly Electric Mason Jar Vacuum Sealer Kit with Wide & Regular Mouth Mason Lids, M23 — Best Overall

The one listing that states a vacuum figure, an auto shut-off, a battery and a jar count, and does not call itself a canner.
Key Specifications
| Vacuum | -80 kPa, stated |
|---|---|
| Auto-stop | Automatic shut-off, stated |
| Battery | 2500mAh, rechargeable |
| Per charge | Over 200 sealings, depending on can size |
| Sealing time | 10 to 40 seconds |
| Lids included | 5 wide-mouth, 5 regular-mouth |
| Also in box | 12 lid labels, lid opener, USB cable, manual |
| Mouth sizes | Wide and regular, by rotating attachment |
| Size | 4.13 x 4.13 x 3.54 in |
| Says canning | No |
| Model | M23 (manufacturer listed as Snuuoby) |
| Best Sellers Rank | #2,595 overall; #12 in Vacuum Sealers |
Why We Recommend It
This is the most completely specified jar sealer on the page. The first bullet gives a number most of the others leave out: “Featuring a powerful -80 kPa vacuum pump, it achieves exceptional suction strength and removes air in just 10 to 40 seconds.” No other listing on the page prints a kPa figure at all. Read as a gauge reading against standard sea-level air pressure of 101.3 kPa, -80 kPa means the pump is rated to remove about 79% of the air under the lid, by our arithmetic. That is a rating, not a measurement, but it is a figure you can hold the seller to.
It says the pump stops by itself. “With its automatic shut-off feature, you can seal your food effortlessly without having to monitor the process.” That matters more than it sounds. A jar sealer is pressed by hand onto a lid, and a pump that runs until you notice and press again either wastes battery or leaves you guessing whether the lid has pulled down. Four listings here state a clear auto-stop. Konatly is one, and it pairs that with an “LED light and display screen”.
The power figures are complete. “With a powerful 2500mAh battery”, the listing says, “the product can be used for over 200 sealings (depending on can size).” The caveat is honest: a big jar has more air to move than a half-pint. A USB cable is in the box. Three listings give a battery capacity and two give a jar count; Konatly and KITOOL give both, and Konatly is the one of the pair that never uses the word canning.
It describes jar storage in storage terms. The uses it names are “everything from preserves to snacks” and “seasonal fruits and vegetables”. It does claim freshness “up to 8 times longer than traditional storage methods”, a figure with no stated basis, and you should read it as marketing. Fresh produce and anything moist still belong in the fridge after sealing. But unlike seven of the ten listings, it does not suggest the pump replaces a canner.
It is the reference point for the rest of the page. Every other sealer here leaves out at least one of the four figures Konatly prints. Roboseal and Dicorain match its auto-stop and add a battery indicator, but give no capacity or vacuum figure. The UNERVER M12 matches its 2500mAh and auto-stop but gives no vacuum figure. KITOOL gives a jar count from a smaller battery. That is why it sits first: not because a stated figure proves performance, which we did not test, but because it is the only listing that lets you check all four claims against the product.
What to weigh. It is sold by Konatly Direct and ranks #2,595 overall and #12 in Vacuum Sealers, the second-best rank on the page. The spec table lists a 2 Year Manufacturer warranty, and the bullets add a 60-day money-back guarantee. No weight is stated. The kit, five lids of each size plus 12 labels and a lid opener, matches what most rivals include.
Pros
- -80 kPa stated, the only kPa figure here
- Automatic shut-off stated
- 2500mAh and over 200 seals per charge stated
- No canning claim
- 2 Year Manufacturer warranty listed
- Second-best rank on the page
Cons
- No battery indicator described
- Lid split and kit typical, nothing extra
- 8 times fresher claim has no stated basis
- No weight stated
- Manufacturer field differs from the brand
- Display not described in detail
Best for: A buyer who wants every key number in writing and a listing that sells dry storage rather than canning.
2. LOVE MOMENT Electric Mason Jar Vacuum Sealer Kit with One Touch Auto-Pause, VP05 — Best Seller

The best-selling vacuum sealer of any kind on Amazon at capture, and one of three here that never says canning.
Key Specifications
| Vacuum | Not stated |
|---|---|
| Auto-stop | Auto-Pause in title; bullets say click again to close |
| Battery | Cordless; capacity and charging not stated |
| Per charge | Not stated |
| Sealing time | About 40 seconds or more |
| Lids included | 5 wide-mouth, 5 regular-mouth |
| Mouth sizes | Wide-mouth head plus standard-mouth converter |
| Size | 4.13 x 4.13 x 3.7 in |
| Listed weight | 1.17 lb |
| Says canning | No |
| Model | VP05 |
| Best Sellers Rank | #112 overall; #1 in Vacuum Sealers |
Why We Recommend It
No jar sealer here sells like this one. At capture it ranked #112 across all of Amazon and #1 in Vacuum Sealers, a category that includes every countertop bag machine. The next-best rank on this page is Konatly’s, at #2,595 overall. Whatever the reason, it is the jar sealer most buyers are choosing, and that alone makes it worth reading closely.
It is also one of the least specified. The listing gives no vacuum figure, no battery capacity, no charging method and no jar count per charge. It says “cordless”, so there is a battery, but nothing in the bullets says how you charge it. Against the Konatly, which states all four numbers, the best-seller asks you to buy on trust.
Its title and bullets disagree on how it stops. The title promises “One Touch Auto-Pause”. The bullets describe something else: “click the button to start the vacuum pump and wait about 40 seconds or more and the air can be evacuated to the seal. Clicking the button again closes the sealer.” That reads as a pump you stop yourself. Perhaps it pauses when the vacuum is reached and the second press turns it off; the listing does not say. If an automatic stop matters to you, ask the seller before buying.
The adapter is spelled out. The body is a wide-mouth sealer. For regular-mouth jars you fit a converter: “insert the red arrow on the standard mouth seal converter, align it with the unlock symbol on the main unit and then insert it inside the silicone ring in the wide mouth seal area and tighten it clockwise”. Five wide-mouth and five regular-mouth lids come in the box. Its wording here turns up again, nearly verbatim, in both UNERVER listings, which is worth knowing if you are comparing them.
It does not oversell. The listing says the kit will “remove the air from your Mason jars and extend the life of your stored food”. It does not say canning, shelf-stable or months. That is the right way to describe a jar vacuum sealer: it slows staling in a jar of coffee or crackers, and it does nothing to make moist food safe outside the fridge.
What to weigh. It is sold by Liandong Electronic. The model field is VP05, a naming pattern shared with Dicorain’s VP06+ and Attikbiz’s VP09, though the three are listed as different models. It lists 1.17 pounds and 4.13 by 4.13 by 3.7 inches. No warranty is stated. Its Its “40 seconds or more” is the longest minimum time stated here; Konatly says 10 to 40 seconds.
Pros
- #1 in Vacuum Sealers, #112 overall
- No canning claim
- Clear converter instructions
- 5 wide-mouth and 5 regular-mouth lids
- Plain description of what it does
- Weight and size stated
Cons
- No vacuum figure
- Battery capacity and charging not stated
- No jar count per charge
- Auto-Pause in title, manual stop in bullets
- About 40 seconds or more per jar
- No warranty stated
Best for: A buyer who wants the most-bought jar sealer and a modest description, and does not need numbers on the box.
3. Dicorain Mason Jar Vacuum Sealer, VP06+ — Best Auto-Stop

The clearest description of a pump that stops itself, with a display that shows progress and charge.
Key Specifications
| Vacuum | Not stated; “stronger suction power” |
|---|---|
| Auto-stop | Stops automatically when air is out, stated |
| Display | LED shows progress and remaining power |
| Battery | Rechargeable; capacity not stated |
| Charging | Type-C cable included |
| Per charge | Not stated |
| Sealing time | 20 to 60 seconds |
| Lids included | 5 wide-mouth, 5 regular-mouth |
| Listed weight | 0.78 lb |
| Says canning | Yes: “canning vacuum sealer for mason jar” |
| Model | VP06+ in title; D002-CA in model field |
| Best Sellers Rank | #9,592 overall; #37 in Vacuum Sealers |
Why We Recommend It
This listing explains its auto-stop better than any other here. “Just align the electric vacuum sealer with the appropriate jar, press the power button, and wait 20-60 seconds. The sealer will stop automatically When the air in the bottle is completely sucked out. It means that the sealing has been completed.” That is the behaviour you want from a jar sealer: start it, and it tells you when it is done by stopping. Konatly, Roboseal and the UNERVER M12 also state an auto-stop; only Roboseal comes close to describing it as plainly.
The display adds the other half. “LED display clearly shows progress and remaining power.” Remaining power is the figure the battery-only listings leave you to guess. Dicorain does not give a capacity in milliamp-hours or a jar count per charge, so you cannot compare its battery with the 2500mAh Konatly and M12 on paper, but a charge gauge means you are less likely to run flat halfway through a row of jars. It charges by a Type-C cable, which is in the box.
It is the lightest listed weight on the page. 0.78 pounds, against 1.0 to 1.21 pounds for the five other sealers that list a weight and 2.0 pounds for the Roboseal kit with its 50 lids, with a listed size of 3.8 by 3.8 by 4.3 inches. For a tool you hold pressed onto a lid for up to a minute, a lighter body is a small but real advantage. The listing says the body is food grade ABS with a “high quality sealing ring” and claims a “30% better sealing effect”, a figure it does not explain.
It does use the word canning. One bullet suggests “Storing food with the canning vacuum sealer for mason jar to extend the food’s freshness”, and another lists “canned fruits” among things to store. Read the first as a name for the jar type rather than a method. A vacuum pump does not heat a jar, so it cannot can, and fruit you seal this way without a tested water-bath process belongs in the fridge. Once a properly home-canned jar is opened, re-vacuuming the lid does not make it shelf-stable again either.
Check the model naming. The title says VP06+, but the model field says D002-CA. LOVE MOMENT’s model is VP05 and Attikbiz’s is VP09, so the VP numbering turns up across brands. Nothing on this page lists a second VP06+, so we cannot pair it with a twin, but if you see a VP06+ under another brand, compare the full spec before assuming it is the same unit.
What to weigh. It is sold by Dicorain and ranks #9,592 overall and #37 in Vacuum Sealers. No warranty is stated. Against the Konatly, it gives a clearer auto-stop, a charge gauge and less weight, but no vacuum figure and no jar count. One bullet also refers to “MASSAGE JARS”, a typo for mason jars that suggests the copy was not closely checked.
Pros
- Auto-stop described plainly
- LED shows progress and remaining power
- Type-C charging, cable included
- Lightest listed weight, 0.78 lb
- 5 wide-mouth and 5 regular-mouth lids
- Compact 3.8 x 3.8 x 4.3 in
Cons
- Uses the phrase canning vacuum sealer
- No vacuum figure
- No battery capacity or jar count
- Slowest stated range, 20 to 60 seconds
- Title and model field give different model names
- No warranty stated
Best for: A buyer who wants a pump that stops itself and shows its charge, and will keep moist food in the fridge.
4. Roboseal Electric Mason Jar Vacuum Sealer Kit with 50 Lids, Jar Opener (EMSON 4664) — Most Lids

A stated auto-stop, a battery indicator and five times the usual lids, sold for canning season.
Key Specifications
| Vacuum | Not stated; “strong one-touch vacuum” |
|---|---|
| Auto-stop | Stops automatically when the jar is sealed, stated |
| Battery | Rechargeable; capacity not stated |
| Charging | USB-C cable included |
| Display | Digital battery indicator |
| Per charge | Not stated |
| Jar sizes | 8 oz to 32 oz, regular and wide mouth |
| Lids included | 50 (25 regular, 25 wide); one heading says 10-lid kit |
| Listed weight | 2.0 lb (kit; not stated whether lids included) |
| Says canning | Yes: “canners”, “CANNING”, “canning season” |
| Model | 4664 (EMSON / E Mishan & Sons) |
| Best Sellers Rank | #20,481 overall; #78 in Vacuum Sealers |
Why We Recommend It
This is the only kit on the page that changes the lid count. Eight listings include five wide-mouth and five regular-mouth lids, and Plateful ten. Roboseal says it “Includes 50 reusable BPA-free sealing lids (25 regular mouth, 25 wide mouth), a USB-C charging cable and a jar-opener / seal-release tool”. The same bullet is headed “COMPLETE 10-LID KIT”, which contradicts it, but the title and the spec table both say 50 lids. If you plan to seal a whole pantry at once, the extra lids are the reason to look at it.
It states the auto-stop in the terms that matter. “Set it on the lid and press once; RoboSeal draws the air out and stops automatically when the jar is sealed, giving you a consistent airtight seal every time with no hand-pumping, no guesswork and no over-sealing.” With Konatly, Dicorain and the UNERVER M12, that makes four clear auto-stops on the page. It adds a “built-in digital battery indicator” that “shows exactly when to recharge”, and charges over USB-C.
The numbers stop there. No vacuum figure, no battery capacity, no jar count per charge and no sealing time beyond “SEALS IN SECONDS”. It does give a jar range the others do not: “from 8 oz spice jars up to 32 oz soup jars”. The spec table lists 2.0 pounds, more than double any other listed weight here; with 50 lids in the box, that is very likely the kit rather than the sealer, but the listing does not say.
Its canning pitch is the second strongest here. One bullet calls it “a flexible pick for home cooks, canners, gardeners”. Another is headed “PERFECT FOR MEAL PREP, CANNING & GIFTING” and says it is “Ideal during canning season, garden harvest, batch cooking and weekly meal prep for dry goods, coffee, herbs, jams, sauces, marinades and salads”. Dry goods, coffee and herbs are fair. Jams meant for the shelf need a tested water-bath process, and sauces, marinades and salads sealed in a jar are fridge food on the usual clock. A pump that pulls air from a cold jar is useful in canning season for the pantry, not as part of the canning.
What to weigh. It is the only sealer here sold by Amazon.com, and it ranks #20,481 overall and #78 in Vacuum Sealers. The listing says it is “designed and backed by EMSON (E. Mishan & Sons), established in the United States in 1946”, and that it is “built to be tested to applicable safety standards by independent third-party labs”, a phrase that stops short of saying it has been tested or certified. No warranty is stated. Its model, 4664, matches nothing else on the page, and its copy is its own.
Pros
- Auto-stop stated plainly
- 50 lids, 25 of each size
- Digital battery indicator, USB-C
- Jar range stated, 8 to 32 oz
- Sold by Amazon.com
- Distinct model and copy
Cons
- Pitched for canning season, jams and sauces
- No vacuum figure
- No battery capacity or jar count
- 10-lid heading contradicts 50 lids
- 2.0 lb listed, likely the kit
- Third-party testing phrase is vague
Best for: A buyer stocking a whole pantry at once who wants an auto-stop and plenty of lids, and keeps jams and sauces in the fridge.
5. Mason Genie Mason Jar Vacuum Sealer Kit, Fully Automated and Portable, 10 Chalkboard Top Lids, MG1 — Chalkboard Lids

The third-best seller on the page, with chalkboard lids, USB-C and a storage claim that goes too far.
Key Specifications
| Vacuum | Not stated; “powerful suction” |
|---|---|
| Auto-stop | Not clearly stated; “Fully Automated” |
| Battery | Rechargeable; capacity not stated |
| Charging | USB-C |
| Per charge | “dozens of seals” |
| Mouth sizes | Regular and wide, by twisting the adapter |
| Lids included | 10 chalkboard top lids (5 regular, 5 wide), lid opener |
| Size | 4.0 x 3.75 x 3.75 in |
| Listed weight | 1.10 lb |
| Says canning | Yes, in title: “Canning Jars” |
| Model | MG1 |
| Best Sellers Rank | #2,933 overall; #14 in Vacuum Sealers |
Why We Recommend It
Its rank puts it near the top of the page. At #2,933 overall and #14 in Vacuum Sealers, it is the third-best seller here, close behind Konatly’s #2,595 and well behind LOVE MOMENT’s #112. It is sold by Mason Genie, lists 1.10 pounds and 4.0 by 3.75 by 3.75 inches, and gives its model as MG1.
The lids are the distinct feature. “This kit features 10 rewritable chalkboard lids (5 regular mouth, 5 wide mouth) to stylishly organize your pantry with clear labeling.” Writing the contents and date straight on the lid is the most practical labelling here, and dating jars is good practice, especially for anything moist that has to go in the fridge. A lid opener is included. Switching sizes is “a simple twist of the adapter”.
The power claim is vague. “The compact device charges via USB-C and holds enough power for dozens of seals.” Dozens is a long way short of the 200 Konatly and KITOOL claim, but it is also not a number. No battery capacity is given, no vacuum figure, and no sealing time. “Just press one button and the vacuum sealer does all the work!” describes an automatic run, not a stated stop.
One storage claim needs correcting. The listing suggests using it for “dry goods, fresh produce, leftovers, meal prep, and more”, then adds: “Store bulk purchases with confidence knowing your food maintains optimal quality until you break the seal.” For dry bulk goods, that is roughly fair. For fresh produce and leftovers it is not: a vacuum does not stop spoilage or the bacteria that grow without oxygen, so those stay in the fridge and are eaten on the usual timeline, sealed or not. Its title calls the jars “Canning Jars”, a common name for mason jars rather than a canning claim, but it counts in our seven.
Its copy turns up on another listing. Attikbiz’s bullets follow Mason Genie’s closely. Both open with “POPULAR KITCHEN INNOVATION” and the same sentence about becoming a favourite among home cooks “looking for smarter food storage solutions”; both have a “FULLY AUTOMATED OPERATION” bullet ending “designed for effortless use – no pumping, no hassle”; both close on “ECONOMICAL & SUSTAINABLE”. The models differ, MG1 and VP09, and Mason Genie says you twist an adapter where Attikbiz says you need none. Mason Genie gives a size, weight and charging method; Attikbiz gives none of those. The listing offers a 30-day money-back guarantee; no warranty is stated.
Pros
- Third-best rank on the page
- 10 rewritable chalkboard lids, 5 of each size
- USB-C charging
- Lid opener included
- Size and 1.10 lb weight stated
- Distinct model, MG1
Cons
- Food keeps until you break the seal claim
- No vacuum figure
- Dozens of seals, no number
- Auto-stop not clearly stated
- Copy shared with Attikbiz
- No warranty stated; 30-day money-back only
Best for: A buyer who wants a popular jar sealer with lids you can write on, and stores dry goods in the pantry and moist food in the fridge.

| Says canning | Yes: “Automatic Canning Vacuum Sealer” |
| Best Sellers Rank | #10,715 overall; #40 in Vacuum Sealers |
Why We Recommend It
The title states the feature most jar sealers leave vague. “M12 Auto Stop Electric Mason Jar Vacuum Sealer”. With Konatly, Dicorain and Roboseal, that makes four listings on the page with a clear auto-stop. The bullets add the method: “place the mason jar vacuum sealer kit at the center and firmly press it onto the jar lid. Just press the button and wait for more than 10 seconds”.
It is the only listing that says how long a charge takes. “our food vacuum sealer kit has a battery that lasts longer, it only takes 2 hours and can vacuum seal about 5 hours.” The title gives the capacity, 2500mAh, the same as Konatly. Five hours of run time is a different kind of figure from a jar count. At the 10 to 40 seconds Konatly quotes per jar, five hours would cover about 450 jars even at 40 seconds each, our arithmetic, but UNERVER does not quote a per-jar time beyond “more than 10 seconds”, so treat that as a ceiling, not a promise.
It calls itself a canner in a bullet heading. “Automatic Canning Vacuum Sealer Mason Jar, Free Up Your Hand”. The rest of the listing is restrained: it talks about sealing in “flavor, nutritional value, and freshness” and reducing waste, and makes no claim about shelf life or months. But the heading is wrong in the way that matters. Removing air from a cold jar is storage. Canning needs heat processing by a tested method, and a jar sealer cannot provide it.
Some of its copy comes from LOVE MOMENT’s. “The electric Mason jar vacuum sealer contains two sizes of mouth seals for your daily use” appears word for word in both listings, and the instruction to press it centred and firmly on the lid is close to LOVE MOMENT’s. The model numbers differ, VP05 and M12, and so do the sizes, so this looks like shared copy rather than a shared product, but it is one more reason to compare specs rather than wording.
What to weigh. It is sold by UNERVER Chief Direct Shop, the same seller as the M11, and ranks #10,715 overall and #40 in Vacuum Sealers. It lists 1.19 pounds and 3.74 by 4.02 by 3.74 inches, in a colour the listing calls starry blue. No vacuum figure is given and no warranty is stated in this listing, though the M11 from the same seller states 12 months. Against the M11, the M12 adds a stated auto-stop, a stated battery and a charge time.
Pros
- Auto Stop stated in the title
- 2500mAh stated
- Only stated charge time, about 2 hours
- About 5 hours of sealing stated
- 5 wide-mouth and 5 regular-mouth lids, opener
- Compact 3.74 x 4.02 x 3.74 in
Cons
- Automatic Canning Vacuum Sealer in a bullet heading
- No vacuum figure
- Run time, not jars per charge
- Shares copy with LOVE MOMENT
- No warranty stated in this listing
- 1.19 lb, among the heavier here
Best for: A buyer who wants a stated auto-stop and a known charge time, and will treat it as a storage tool.
7. KITOOL Electric Mason Jar Vacuum Sealer Kit for Wide-Mouth & Regular-Mouth Mason Jars — Two Separate Heads

Two separate sealing heads and a 200-jar claim from half the battery of the 2500mAh models.
Key Specifications
| Vacuum | Not stated |
|---|---|
| Auto-stop | Not stated |
| Battery | 1300mAh, rechargeable |
| Charging | Type-C cable included |
| Per charge | Up to 200 uses |
| Display | LED shows battery status and working time |
| Heads | 1 wide-mouth sealer, 1 regular-mouth sealer |
| Lids included | 5 wide-mouth, 5 regular-mouth |
| Size | 4.1 x 4.1 x 3.7 in (size field says 5.51 x 4.88 x 4.8 in) |
| Says canning | Yes, in title: “Vacuum Canning Sealer Machine” |
| Model | Not given as a number (part PKT-US-001) |
| Best Sellers Rank | #39,971 overall; #136 in Vacuum Sealers |
Why We Recommend It
It handles the two jar sizes differently from everything else here. Most of these sealers are a wide-mouth body with a ring or converter for regular jars. KITOOL says it includes “1 wide-mouth sealer, 1 regular-mouth sealer”, two separate heads, with five lids of each size, a jar opener and a Type-C cable. If you seal both sizes often, swapping a whole head may be simpler than twisting a converter in and out of a silicone ring, though the listing does not say how the heads attach.
Its battery claim is the one to question. “This electric Mason jar vacuum sealer is equipped with a high-capacity 1300mAh battery… With just one charge, you can use it for up to 200 times.” Konatly claims over 200 seals from 2500mAh. KITOOL claims about the same count from 52% of that capacity, by our arithmetic. Milliamp-hours alone do not settle it, because none of these listings states a battery voltage, and pump efficiency varies. But either KITOOL’s pump uses much less energy per jar, or one of these counts is optimistic. Plan on charging more often than the headline suggests.
The display is useful. “The built-in LED display ensures clear visibility of battery status and working time.” With Dicorain and Roboseal, it is one of three listings that say the display shows remaining battery. The listing does not say the pump stops by itself, so you may be watching that working time to decide when to stop.
The title says canning, and the bullets do not back it up. “Food Saver Vacuum Canning Sealer Machine Includes 10 Jar Lids” is the product name. The bullets talk only about storing “fruits, vegetables, beans, nuts, and more”. Dry beans and nuts are exactly what a jar sealer is good for. Fresh fruit and vegetables still need the fridge. And no vacuum sealer is a canning machine: it does not heat the jar, so it cannot do what a tested canning process does.
Two of its size fields disagree. The spec table gives 4.1 by 4.1 by 3.7 inches; the size field says 5.51 by 4.88 by 4.8 inches, which may be the box. No weight is given. The model field says only “vacuum sealer”, with a part number of PKT-US-001. The listing does offer a PDF manual on the product page, a small but useful courtesy that none of the others mentions.
What to weigh. It is sold by KITOOL and ranks #39,971 overall and #136 in Vacuum Sealers, the lowest rank on the page. The materials are stated as ABS and food-grade silicone, BPA-free. No warranty is stated. The two separate heads are the reason to choose it.
Pros
- Two separate heads, wide and regular
- Up to 200 uses per charge stated
- Type-C charging
- LED shows battery and working time
- PDF manual offered
- BPA-free materials stated
Cons
- Vacuum Canning Sealer Machine in the title
- Smallest stated battery, 1300mAh
- Auto-stop not stated
- No vacuum figure
- Size fields disagree; no weight
- Lowest rank here
Best for: A buyer who seals both jar sizes often and prefers swapping heads to fitting a converter.
8. UNERVER M11 Mason Jar Vacuum Sealer, Electric Mason Jar Vacuum Sealer Kit — Labels and Pen Included

Filed by Amazon in Canning and sold for canning jars, with the fullest labelling kit and the fewest numbers.
Key Specifications
| Vacuum | Not stated |
|---|---|
| Auto-stop | Not clearly stated; one-touch |
| Battery | Cordless; capacity and charging not stated |
| Per charge | Not stated |
| Sealing time | “in seconds” |
| Lids included | 5 wide-mouth, 5 regular-mouth |
| Also in box | Standard mouth converter, 12 labels, pen, user guide |
| Size | 4.6 x 4.6 x 5.07 in |
| Listed weight | 1.21 lb |
| Warranty | 12 months, stated |
| Says canning | Yes, in title: “for Canning Jars” |
| Best Sellers Rank | #4,051 overall; #46 in Canning |
Why We Recommend It
Amazon files this one in Canning, not Vacuum Sealers. It ranks #4,051 overall and #46 in Canning, the only sealer here ranked in that category. The title is the likely reason: “Jar Vacuum Sealer for Canning Jars, Vacuum Sealing Machine for Food Storage”. “Canning jars” is a common name for mason jars, and read that way the title is fair. But filing a jar vacuum pump among canning equipment is the kind of signal that leads a buyer to think it can stand in for a canner. It cannot.
The bullets themselves describe storage. “This mason jar vacuum sealer removes air to create an airtight vacuum seal, helping keep dry goods, coffee, nuts, and leftovers fresh for longer”. That is accurate for dry goods and coffee. For leftovers, “fresh for longer” should mean the same fridge and the same few days; taking out the air does not change how long cooked food is safe. The listing also mentions “homemade sauces”, which belong in the fridge or freezer after sealing.
Its numbers are almost all missing. No vacuum figure, no battery capacity, no charging method, no jar count. It says “cordless”. It says “Just press one button to start sealing. This electric mason jar vacuum sealer automatically removes air and seals jars in seconds”, which describes an automatic run but does not say the pump stops by itself.
The kit is the most complete for labelling. Alongside a “standard mouth seal converter, 5* wide mouth Mason jar lids, and 5* regular mouth Mason jar lids and user guide”, it “Includes 12 label papers and a pen”. Dating what you seal is good practice, especially for anything in the fridge, and it is the only kit that includes a pen. The kit wording itself matches LOVE MOMENT’s almost word for word, as does part of the M12’s from the same seller.
It is the tallest and heaviest listed body. 4.6 by 4.6 by 5.07 inches and 1.21 pounds. The size field also says “Medium Pack of 60”, which cannot describe a single sealer kit and is probably a listing error.
What to weigh. It is sold by UNERVER Chief Direct Shop and states a 12-month warranty, one of two stated warranties on the page, with Konatly’s. Its rank is the fourth-best here. Against the M12 from the same seller, it gives up a stated auto-stop, a battery figure and a charge time, and gains the label-and-pen kit.
Pros
- 12-month warranty stated
- 12 labels and a pen included
- Converter and 5 lids of each size
- Plain storage description in the bullets
- Fourth-best rank here
- Weight and size stated
Cons
- Sold for canning jars and filed in Canning
- No vacuum figure
- Battery and charging not stated
- Auto-stop not clearly stated
- Tallest and heaviest listed body
- Size field says pack of 60
Best for: A buyer who wants a labelling kit and a stated warranty, and only needs a pump for dry pantry jars.
9. Plateful VacuFresh Vacuum Sealer for Mason Jars, Cordless, 10 Lids Included — Mouth Sizes Stated

Gives its mouth sizes in inches and little else, and sells itself for dry canning and home canning.
Key Specifications
| Vacuum | Not stated |
|---|---|
| Auto-stop | Not clearly stated; one-touch |
| Battery | Built-in rechargeable; capacity not stated |
| Charging | Not stated |
| Per charge | Not stated |
| Mouth sizes | Regular 2.68 in, wide 3.27 in, stated |
| Lids included | 10 (split by size not stated) |
| Size | 4.3 x 4.3 x 4.8 in |
| Listed weight | 1.0 lb |
| Says canning | Yes: “dry canning” and “home canning” |
| Model | MASON_VAC |
| Best Sellers Rank | #6,311 overall; #26 in Vacuum Sealers |
Why We Recommend It
It is the only listing that gives mouth sizes as numbers. “VacuFresh fits both regular (2.68") and wide mouth (3.27") mason jars.” That is about 68mm and 83mm, by our conversion. Roboseal gives a jar range by volume instead, 8 oz to 32 oz, and the other eight say only regular and wide. Every listing claims to fit standard mason jars, which is what matters, but Plateful is the one that puts a measurement on it.
Almost everything else is unstated. No vacuum figure. No battery capacity, no charging method, no jar count. The listing says “Features a built-in rechargeable battery so you can seal jars anywhere in your kitchen without cords” and “uses one touch operation to remove air from your jars quickly”, and stops there. It does not say the pump stops by itself. The title says “10 Lids Included” but not how many of each size; eight of the others say five and five, and Roboseal says 25 and 25.
Its canning language is among the most direct here. “ideal for dry canning vacuum sealer tasks, keeping pantry staples fresh longer than traditional methods”, says one bullet. Another says the kit “simplifies home canning and food storage for beginners and experts”. The first bullet suggests “preserving homemade jams, pickles, dry goods and leftovers”. Here is the general guidance. “Dry canning” usually refers to sealing dry foods in jars, sometimes after heating them in an oven. Oven canning is not among the tested methods recommended by USDA-backed home-preserving guidance, and vacuum sealing is not canning at all. Jams and pickles meant for the shelf need a tested water-bath process. Leftovers need the fridge.
For true dry goods it is a reasonable tool. Pasta, rice, oats, coffee, crackers and dried herbs are what a jar sealer does well, because the enemy there is air and moisture, not bacteria. Plateful names “spices, snacks, or meal preps” and “pantry staples”, and those are fair uses.
What to weigh. It is sold by TryPlateful and ranks #6,311 overall and #26 in Vacuum Sealers. It lists 1.0 pound and 4.3 by 4.3 by 4.8 inches. The model field is MASON_VAC. No warranty is stated. Against the Konatly, which ranks higher, it gives you mouth sizes and nothing else you can check, so choose it only if you have a reason to prefer the brand.
Pros
- Mouth sizes stated in inches
- 10 lids included
- Built-in rechargeable battery
- Fair pantry-staple uses named
- 1.0 lb listed
- Compact 4.3 x 4.3 x 4.8 in
Cons
- Pitches dry canning and home canning
- No vacuum figure
- Battery, charging and jar count not stated
- Auto-stop not clearly stated
- Lid split by size not stated
- No warranty stated
Best for: A buyer sealing true dry goods who wants a plain cordless pump and will ignore the canning wording.
10. Attikbiz 2026 Upgraded One-Integrated Mason Jar Vacuum Sealer, Fully Automated, VP09 — No-Adapter Head

One head for both mouth sizes and no power information at all, plus a jam claim to ignore.
Key Specifications
| Vacuum | Not stated |
|---|---|
| Auto-stop | Not clearly stated; “Fully Automated” |
| Battery | Not stated |
| Charging | Not stated |
| Per charge | Not stated |
| Mouth sizes | Regular and wide, no twist adapters |
| Lids included | 5 regular, 5 wide-mouth |
| Also in box | Bottle opener, 12 labels |
| Size and weight | Not stated |
| Says canning | No; claims jam keeps 6 months |
| Model | VP09 (seller GUIHENG) |
| Best Sellers Rank | #10,042 overall; #38 in Vacuum Sealers |
Why We Recommend It
Its one distinct feature is the head. “Our electric jar vacuum sealer fits regular and wide mouth Mason jars without twist adapters and without special lids!” Most listings here use a converter, a rotating attachment or a second head, and Mason Genie, whose bullets Attikbiz otherwise follows closely, says you twist an adapter. If Attikbiz’s single head does seal both sizes reliably, it removes the most fiddly step in using a jar sealer. The listing does not explain how, and gives no dimensions to judge it by.
It is the only listing on the page with no power information. No battery, no capacity, no charging method, no jar count, no sealing time. It does not even say cordless or rechargeable. The title says “Fully Automated” and the bullets say “The vacuum sealer for jars does all the work at the push of a button!”, which tells you it runs by itself but not that it stops by itself. It also gives no size, no weight and no vacuum figure. You would be buying the no-adapter claim and nothing else you can check.
It avoids the word canning but makes a worse claim. “Preserve homemade jam for 6 months without preservatives”. No vacuum pump can promise that. Whether a jar of jam keeps for months on a shelf depends on its sugar, its acidity and whether it was processed in a boiling water bath by a tested method, not on air pulled from under the lid. Once opened, jam goes in the fridge. Treat the six-month figure as having no basis.
The rest of the copy is borrowed. The “POPULAR KITCHEN INNOVATION” bullet calls it a favourite among home cooks “looking for smarter food storage solutions”, the same sentence Mason Genie uses about itself, and the “FULLY AUTOMATED OPERATION” bullet matches Mason Genie’s too. Neither claim of popularity is supported by anything we could check. It adds “Cut food waste by 70%” with no basis. The kit itself is sound: 10 lids, five of each size, a bottle opener and 12 labels, with a suggestion to “Scribble dates” on them, which is good advice for anything you seal.
Note the model and seller. The model field says VP09, the third VP number on the page after LOVE MOMENT’s VP05 and Dicorain’s VP06+. It is sold by GUIHENG rather than under the Attikbiz name, and ranks #10,042 overall and #38 in Vacuum Sealers. No warranty is stated.
Pros
- One head fits both mouth sizes, stated
- No canning claim
- 5 lids of each size
- Bottle opener and 12 labels included
- Suggests dating sealed jars
- Mid-table rank
Cons
- No battery or charging information
- Copy follows Mason Genie’s listing
- No size, weight or vacuum figure
- Jam for 6 months claim has no basis
- Auto-stop not clearly stated
- No warranty stated
Best for: A buyer who hates fitting converters and will confirm power and charging with the seller first.
Seven Listings Say Canning. None Can Do It.
The word turns up in seven of the ten listings, in different strengths. Some use it as a name for the jar. Some use it for the product. One sells the sealer for home canning outright, and another pitches it for canning season. The table sets out each use, quoted as printed.
| Sealer | Where it says canning | How strong | Other storage claim |
|---|---|---|---|
| Plateful | “dry canning vacuum sealer tasks”; “simplifies home canning” | Sells it for home canning | Jams, pickles, leftovers |
| Roboseal | “canners”; “CANNING & GIFTING”; “Ideal during canning season” | Pitches it for canning season | Jams, sauces, marinades, salads |
| KITOOL | Title: “Vacuum Canning Sealer Machine” | Names the product | Fruits, vegetables, beans, nuts |
| UNERVER M12 | “Automatic Canning Vacuum Sealer” | Names the product | Freshness, no time claim |
| Dicorain | “canning vacuum sealer for mason jar” | Names the product | Canned fruits listed |
| UNERVER M11 | Title: “for Canning Jars”; ranked in Canning | Names the jar | Dry goods, leftovers, sauces |
| Mason Genie | Title: “Canning Jars” | Names the jar | Quality kept “until you break the seal” |
| Attikbiz | Not used | — | Jam for 6 months |
| Konatly | Not used | — | Up to 8 times longer |
| LOVE MOMENT | Not used | — | Extends stored food life |
What canning actually is. Canning heats food in sealed jars long enough, at a high enough temperature, to destroy the organisms that would otherwise spoil it or make it dangerous, and then lets the cooling jar pull its lid down into a seal. USDA guidance, and the tested recipes that follow it, use two methods. High-acid foods such as most fruit, jams and pickles go in a boiling water bath. Low-acid foods such as vegetables, beans, meat and stock need a pressure canner, because only pressure gets the inside of the jar hot enough to deal with botulism spores. The vacuum is a by-product of the heat. It is not the thing that makes the food safe.
What a jar sealer does instead. It produces the vacuum without the heat. The lid pulls down, the jar looks sealed, and nothing inside has been sterilised. For dry goods that is fine: coffee, nuts, rice, flour, crackers and dried herbs go stale or soft because of oxygen and moisture, and a jar with less air in it slows both. For moist food it can mislead. A sealed jar of soup, sauce, cooked rice or garlic in oil is low in oxygen, and Clostridium botulinum is one of the bacteria that grows without oxygen. So moist food sealed this way still goes in the fridge or freezer, and is still eaten on the same timeline as any leftover.
Three practical rules follow. First, do not use a jar sealer as a canning step, for jam or anything else; if a recipe needs a water bath or pressure canner, it needs one regardless of the pump. Second, re-vacuuming the lid of an opened jar of home-canned or shop-bought food does not make it shelf-stable again; once opened, it is a fridge item. Third, the lid of a jar that has been vacuum sealed rather than canned will look the same as a canned one, so label it. Four of these kits include labels, the M11 adds a pen, and Mason Genie’s lids are chalkboard tops you can write on.
The other storage claims deserve the same scepticism. Konatly promises “up to 8 times longer”, Attikbiz jam that keeps “for 6 months without preservatives”, and Mason Genie food that “maintains optimal quality until you break the seal”, a claim it makes right after naming fresh produce and leftovers. None gives a basis. For a jar of coffee beans, less air does mean slower staling, and that is worth having. For anything perishable, these claims do not apply. If you want vacuum storage that gets food into the freezer flat and airless, a bag machine from our countertop vacuum sealer roundup does that job better than a jar.

One kPa Figure, Four Auto-Stops, Two Jar Counts
Strip out the canning claims and compare what the ten listings actually state about the pump. This is the table to use when choosing between them, and most of it reads “Not stated”.
| Sealer | Vacuum | Air removed (ours) | Auto-stop | Battery | Charging | Per charge | Time per jar |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Konatly | -80 kPa | About 79% | Stated | 2500mAh | USB | 200+ seals | 10–40 s |
| UNERVER M12 | Not stated | — | Stated (title) | 2500mAh | USB, about 2 h | About 5 hours | Over 10 s |
| KITOOL | Not stated | — | Not stated | 1300mAh | Type-C | Up to 200 | Not stated |
| Roboseal | Not stated | — | Stated | Not stated; indicator | USB-C | Not stated | “Seconds” |
| Dicorain | Not stated | — | Stated | Not stated; indicator | Type-C | Not stated | 20–60 s |
| Mason Genie | Not stated | — | Not clearly stated | Not stated | USB-C | “Dozens” | Not stated |
| LOVE MOMENT | Not stated | — | Title yes, bullets no | Not stated | Not stated | Not stated | 40 s or more |
| Plateful | Not stated | — | Not clearly stated | Not stated | Not stated | Not stated | Not stated |
| UNERVER M11 | Not stated | — | Not clearly stated | Not stated | Not stated | Not stated | “Seconds” |
| Attikbiz | Not stated | — | Not clearly stated | Not stated | Not stated | Not stated | Not stated |
Reading the kPa figure. A negative kPa rating is a gauge reading: how far below the surrounding air pressure the pump can pull. At sea level that air pressure is about 101.3 kPa, so Konatly’s -80 kPa leaves about 21 kPa in the jar, about 79% of the air removed, by our arithmetic. That is not a perfect vacuum, and no small pump gets close; our countertop vacuum sealer roundup explains why even countertop machines stop short. The other nine describe their suction as “powerful”, “strong” or “stronger”, which cannot be compared. For keeping coffee or crackers, what matters as much as the rating is that the lid seats, which depends on a clean rim and a lid that is not bent.
Reading the auto-stop claims. Words such as automatic, one-touch, auto sealing and fully automated appear on nine of the ten listings. Only four say the pump stops by itself: Konatly (“automatic shut-off”), Roboseal (“stops automatically when the jar is sealed”), Dicorain (“The sealer will stop automatically”) and the UNERVER M12 (“Auto Stop” in its title). LOVE MOMENT’s title says auto-pause and its bullets tell you to press again to close it. Without an auto-stop, you are judging by the sound of the pump or the look of the lid, which is workable but less convenient.
Reading the battery claims. Two listings claim 2500mAh, Konatly and the M12, and KITOOL claims 1300mAh. Only two give a jar count: over 200 for Konatly and up to 200 for KITOOL, on about half the capacity by our arithmetic. Mason Genie says “dozens of seals”. Since none states a battery voltage, milliamp-hours are only a rough comparison, and jar counts depend on jar size, as Konatly admits. Treat every count as a best case. The M12 is the only listing to state a charge time, about 2 hours, and Dicorain, KITOOL and Roboseal say their displays or indicators show remaining battery. Six of the ten name a USB or Type-C connector.
Who states the most. Konatly states vacuum, auto-stop, capacity and jar count, all four, and is the only listing that does. The M12 states two and a run time. KITOOL states capacity and count. Roboseal and Dicorain state the auto-stop, a connector and a battery indicator. Mason Genie states a connector. LOVE MOMENT, Plateful, the M11 and Attikbiz state none of the four clearly. For portable bag sealers with comparable battery claims, see our handheld vacuum sealer guide.
Shared Copy, Different Names
Jar sealers are a small, simple product, and several listings on this page share wording. That is not a problem in itself, and on these ten the model numbers all differ, but it means the description tells you less than it seems, and a sentence you read on one listing may have been written for another product.
| Pair | What matches | What differs | Our reading |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mason Genie and Attikbiz | “POPULAR KITCHEN INNOVATION” sentence; “FULLY AUTOMATED OPERATION” bullet; “WORKS WITH ALL MASON JARS” and “ECONOMICAL & SUSTAINABLE” headings; Fully Automated in both titles | MG1 vs VP09; twist adapter vs no adapter; Mason Genie states size, weight and USB-C, Attikbiz none | Shared listing template; the adapter claims conflict |
| LOVE MOMENT and UNERVER M11 | Kit sentence nearly word for word | VP05 vs M11; 4.13 x 4.13 x 3.7 vs 4.6 x 4.6 x 5.07 in | Shared copy, different listed bodies |
| LOVE MOMENT and UNERVER M12 | “contains two sizes of mouth seals for your daily use”; press-centred instruction | VP05 vs M12; M12 adds Auto Stop and 2500mAh | Shared copy, different models |
| LOVE MOMENT, Dicorain, Attikbiz | VP numbering: VP05, VP06+, VP09 | Different brands, sizes and features; Dicorain’s model field says D002-CA | A common naming pattern; not the same model on these listings |
What to do with this. Buy on the figures each listing states for itself, and discount sentences that appear word for word elsewhere. If you are weighing Attikbiz against Mason Genie, note that Mason Genie gives a size, weight and charging method and Attikbiz gives none, and ask Attikbiz how its single head fits both mouth sizes. And if you see a VP06+ or another VP-numbered sealer under a third brand, compare the full spec line by line before assuming anything.
Best Alternatives
| Alternative | Why Consider It | Better For | Main Trade-Off |
|---|---|---|---|
| Countertop bag vacuum sealer | Seals food flat in bags for the freezer; many have a hose port for jars too | Meat, batch cooking, freezer storage | Bigger, needs mains power and bags |
| Handheld bag vacuum sealer | Cordless like a jar sealer, but works with zip-style vacuum bags | Small fridge portions, marinating | Needs compatible valve bags |
| Chamber vacuum sealer | Pulls a deeper vacuum and can seal liquids in bags | Soups, sauces, heavy home use | Large, heavy, a big step up |
| Water-bath or pressure canner | The tested way to make jarred food shelf-stable | Jams, pickles, vegetables, stock | A process, not a gadget; follow tested recipes |
If you seal a lot of meat or batch cooking for the freezer, our vacuum sealer bags guide and our vacuum sealers for heavy use roundup cover the bag side. If liquids are the problem, a chamber machine is the tool; see our chamber vacuum sealer roundup.
What the Step Up Buys
From an unspecified pump to a specified one. The bottom tier here, LOVE MOMENT, Plateful, the M11 and Attikbiz, gives you a cordless pump, ten lids and almost no numbers. The step up, to Konatly, buys a stated vacuum figure, a stated battery and a stated jar count, the only listing here with all three. None of that is measured by us, but a stated figure is something you can hold the seller to.
From a pump you stop to a pump that stops. Konatly, Roboseal, Dicorain and the M12 state an auto-stop. If you seal a dozen jars at a time, not having to judge each one is the most practical upgrade on the page.
From a guessed charge to a visible one. Dicorain, KITOOL and Roboseal say their displays or indicators show remaining battery; the M12 states its charge time. A battery gauge is a small thing until the pump dies halfway along a pantry shelf.
From ten lids to fifty. Roboseal is the one kit that ships 50 lids, 25 of each size; every other kit has ten. If you are filling a pantry, that is the simplest upgrade on the page.
From a converter to no converter. KITOOL’s two separate heads and Attikbiz’s single no-adapter head both avoid twisting a ring in and out. Neither gives a vacuum figure, so you trade specification for convenience.
What no step up buys. Shelf stability. The only rated pump on the page, Konatly’s -80 kPa, does not make moist food safe at room temperature any more than the unrated ones. The only step up that does that is a tested canning process.

What to Check Before You Buy
Decide What You Will Seal
Dry goods, coffee, nuts, crackers, rice, flour and dried herbs are where a jar sealer earns its place. Leftovers and sauces can be sealed for the fridge, but gain no extra safe days. If you want shelf-stable jars of jam, pickles or vegetables, you need a water bath or pressure canner and a tested recipe, not a pump.
Look for a Stated Vacuum Figure
Only one of ten prints one: -80 kPa on the Konatly, about 79% of the air removed, our arithmetic. A listing that says only “powerful” gives you nothing to compare.
Confirm the Pump Stops by Itself
“Automatic” and “one-touch” describe starting. Four listings say the pump stops: Konatly, Roboseal, Dicorain and the UNERVER M12. LOVE MOMENT’s title and bullets disagree, so ask.
Check the Battery and the Connector
Three give a capacity: Konatly and the M12 at 2500mAh and KITOOL at 1300mAh. Six name a USB or Type-C connector. Attikbiz states no power details at all, and LOVE MOMENT and the M11 say only cordless.
Count the Lids and the Adapters
Eight kits state five wide-mouth and five regular-mouth lids; Plateful says ten without the split, and Roboseal 50, 25 of each. Sealing with a reusable lid on a standard ring is common, but check that your jars’ rims are smooth and unchipped, because a chip lets air back in.
Compare the Spec, Not the Wording
Attikbiz follows Mason Genie’s bullets, and both UNERVER listings borrow LOVE MOMENT’s sentences. Shared wording is a sign to compare the stated figures, model numbers and dimensions before trusting any one description.
Ignore Canning and Multiplier Claims
Seven listings say canning, and three promise 8 times longer freshness, jam for 6 months or quality kept until you break the seal. None gives a basis. Buy on the stated pump figures and treat every sealed moist food as a fridge item.

Common Mistakes
- Treating a vacuum-sealed jar as canned. Seven of ten listings say canning, but no pump heats the jar, so nothing inside is made shelf-stable.
- Leaving sealed leftovers in the pantry. Removing air does not stop bacteria that grow without oxygen; moist food still needs the fridge or freezer.
- Believing a jam claim. Attikbiz says jam keeps 6 months without preservatives; shelf-stable jam needs a tested water-bath process.
- Reading “automatic” as auto-stop. Nine listings use automatic-style words; only four say the pump stops by itself.
- Comparing jar counts at face value. KITOOL claims up to 200 jars from 1300mAh, about the count Konatly claims from 2500mAh.
- Trusting shared copy. Attikbiz repeats Mason Genie’s bullets, yet says it needs no adapter where Mason Genie says twist one.
- Taking a lid count from a heading. Roboseal’s title says 50 lids; one bullet heading says a 10-lid kit.
- Sealing chipped jars. A chipped rim lets air back in, and no pump, rated or not, can fix that.
Who Should Buy Which
Buy the Konatly M23 if you want every number in writing. The only kPa figure here, -80 kPa, plus automatic shut-off, 2500mAh and over 200 seals per charge, a 2 Year Manufacturer warranty listed, and no canning claim. Accept that no weight or battery indicator is described.
Buy the LOVE MOMENT if you want the jar sealer most people are buying. #1 in Vacuum Sealers, five lids of each size and an honest description. Accept no vacuum figure, no stated charging method and a title that promises an auto-pause its bullets do not describe.
Buy the Dicorain VP06+ if you want a pump that stops itself and shows its charge. The plainest auto-stop description here, an LED for progress and remaining power, Type-C and 0.78 lb. Ignore its canning wording.
Buy the Roboseal if you want lots of lids and a pump that stops itself. 50 lids, a stated auto-stop, a battery indicator and USB-C, sold by Amazon.com. Ignore the canning-season pitch, and accept no vacuum or battery figures.
Buy the Mason Genie if you want a popular sealer with lids you can write on. The third-best rank here, 10 chalkboard lids and USB-C. Accept no vacuum figure, only “dozens of seals” per charge, and an until-you-break-the-seal claim that does not apply to fresh food.
Buy the UNERVER M12 if you want an auto-stop and a known charge time. Auto Stop in the title, 2500mAh, about 2 hours to charge and about 5 hours of sealing. Accept no vacuum figure.
Buy the KITOOL if you would rather swap heads than twist a converter. Separate wide and regular heads, Type-C and a battery display. Accept a 1300mAh battery, no stated auto-stop and canning in its title.
Buy the UNERVER M11 if you want labels, a pen and a stated warranty. 12 months stated and the fullest labelling kit. Accept almost no pump figures and a listing filed in Canning.
Buy the Plateful if you seal only true dry goods and want a simple cordless pump. It states its mouth sizes. Accept that it states nothing else you can check, and ignore the dry canning pitch.
Buy the Attikbiz only after the seller tells you how it is powered. One head fits both mouth sizes with no adapter. Accept no power, size or vacuum details, and disregard the six-month jam claim.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best mason jar vacuum sealer?
For most buyers, the Konatly M23. It is the only listing of the ten that states a vacuum figure, -80 kPa, and it also states an automatic shut-off, a 2500mAh battery and over 200 seals per charge, without describing itself as a canning tool. It includes five wide-mouth and five regular-mouth lids, 12 labels, a lid opener and a USB cable, lists a 2 Year Manufacturer warranty, and holds the second-best Best Sellers Rank on the page. Its weaknesses are small: no weight is given and no battery indicator is described. If you want the jar sealer most people are buying, LOVE MOMENT is #1 in Vacuum Sealers, though it states no vacuum figure. If an obvious auto-stop and a charge display matter most, the Dicorain VP06+ describes both clearly, and the Roboseal adds 50 lids.
Can a mason jar vacuum sealer be used for canning?
No. As general guidance, USDA advice is that food intended to be stored at room temperature should be preserved by a tested canning method: a boiling water bath for high-acid foods such as most jams, fruit and pickles, and a pressure canner for low-acid foods such as vegetables, beans, meat and stock. Both work by heating the sealed jar enough to destroy spoilage organisms, and the lid seal forms as the jar cools. A jar vacuum sealer pulls air from a cold jar and heats nothing, so it cannot do what canning does. Seven of the ten listings here use the word canning anyway; Plateful sells its sealer for home canning, and Roboseal pitches its own for canning season and jams. Treat that wording as wrong. Use the pump for dry goods and for fridge or freezer storage, and use a tested recipe and the right canner for anything you want shelf-stable.
Does vacuum sealing a jar make food shelf-stable?
No. Removing air slows staling, oxidation and some kinds of mould, which is why it works well for coffee, nuts, crackers, rice, flour and dried herbs. It does not kill bacteria, and some of the most dangerous, including the one that causes botulism, grow without oxygen. A sealed jar of moist, low-acid food such as soup, cooked rice, sauce, fresh vegetables or garlic in oil can be exactly the airless environment those bacteria like. So, as general guidance, anything moist you vacuum seal in a jar belongs in the fridge or freezer and should be eaten on the same timeline as if it were not sealed. Attikbiz’s claim that jam will keep for 6 months without preservatives, Mason Genie’s claim that food keeps its quality until you break the seal, and Konatly’s 8 times freshness claim give no basis and should not change how you store perishable food.
What is the best electric mason jar vacuum sealer for wide and regular mouth jars?
All ten listings here claim to fit both sizes. Eight say they include five wide-mouth and five regular-mouth lids, Plateful says ten lids without the split, and Roboseal includes 50, 25 of each. They differ in how they switch. Konatly, LOVE MOMENT, Dicorain and Mason Genie use a converter, a rotating attachment or a twist adapter on a wide-mouth body. KITOOL includes two separate heads, one for each size. Attikbiz says its single head fits both without twist adapters, but gives no size, weight or power details to judge it by. Plateful is the only listing to state the mouth sizes it fits in inches, 2.68 and 3.27, and Roboseal gives a jar range of 8 to 32 oz. Of the adapter designs, the Konatly states the most about its pump. If you dislike converters, KITOOL’s two heads are the most clearly described alternative.
How strong is a jar vacuum sealer, and does kPa matter?
Only one of the ten listings gives a figure: -80 kPa on the Konatly. That is a gauge reading, meaning how far below the surrounding air pressure the pump can pull. At sea level the air is about 101.3 kPa, so -80 kPa leaves about 21 kPa in the jar and removes about 79% of the air, by our arithmetic. It is a rating, not a measurement, and it is not close to a full vacuum. For dry goods in a jar, a clean rim and a flat, undamaged lid matter at least as much. The figure is still worth having, because it is the one thing a seller can be held to. The other nine listings describe their suction with words such as powerful, strong or stronger, which give you nothing to compare, and that includes the best-selling LOVE MOMENT.
Do mason jar vacuum sealers stop automatically?
Only four of the ten say so clearly. Konatly states an automatic shut-off, Roboseal that it stops automatically when the jar is sealed, Dicorain that the sealer will stop automatically when the air is out, and the UNERVER M12 has Auto Stop in its title. LOVE MOMENT’s title says One Touch Auto-Pause, but its bullets say clicking the button again closes the sealer, so the two descriptions conflict and you should ask the seller. Mason Genie, Plateful, the UNERVER M11 and Attikbiz use words such as automatic, one-touch or fully automated, which describe the pump running by itself but not stopping by itself. KITOOL does not mention it. Without an auto-stop, you judge by the pump note changing or the lid pulling down, which works but is less convenient across a dozen jars.
How many jars can a jar vacuum sealer do on one charge?
Only two listings give a number. Konatly claims over 200 seals from a 2500mAh battery, and KITOOL claims up to 200 from 1300mAh, about half the capacity by our arithmetic, which suggests at least one count is optimistic. Mason Genie says only that it holds enough power for dozens of seals. The UNERVER M12 gives a run time instead, about 5 hours of sealing after about 2 hours of charging, and also claims 2500mAh. None of the listings states a battery voltage, so milliamp-hours are only a rough comparison. Konatly adds that its count depends on jar size, which is true of all of them: a quart jar has far more air to move than a half-pint. Dicorain, KITOOL and Roboseal say they show remaining battery. The other listings give no count, and Attikbiz gives no power information at all.
Do any of these jar sealers share a listing or model?
On these ten, the model numbers all differ, but some of the wording is shared. Attikbiz’s bullets follow Mason Genie’s closely, from the opening line about becoming a favourite among home cooks to the fully automated operation bullet, yet Mason Genie says you twist an adapter for regular jars and Attikbiz says you need none. Mason Genie also states a size, a weight and USB-C charging; Attikbiz states none of those. Both UNERVER listings share sentences with LOVE MOMENT’s, though their models, VP05 against M11 and M12, and their sizes differ. LOVE MOMENT, Dicorain and Attikbiz use VP model names, VP05, VP06+ and VP09, which look like a common naming pattern rather than one model, and Dicorain’s model field actually says D002-CA. Compare the stated figures on each listing, not the wording.
Final Verdict
The only kPa figure here, -80 kPa, plus automatic shut-off, 2500mAh and over 200 seals per charge, with no canning claim.
#1 in Vacuum Sealers and #112 overall, with an honest description, though no vacuum figure.
The plainest auto-stop description, an LED for progress and charge, Type-C and 0.78 lb listed.
A mason jar vacuum sealer is a storage tool, and seven of these ten listings dress it up as something else. The word canning appears on the UNERVER M11, the M12, Mason Genie, KITOOL, Dicorain, Roboseal and Plateful; Plateful sells its pump for home canning and Roboseal pitches its own for canning season. As general guidance, USDA advice is that shelf-stable jarred food needs a tested water-bath or pressure-canning process. A cold jar with the air pulled out is not that, however strong the pump.
Judged as storage tools, the listings separate on what they state. One gives a vacuum figure, four a clear auto-stop, three a battery capacity and two a jar count. Konatly states all four; LOVE MOMENT, Plateful, the M11 and Attikbiz state none clearly. Several share wording, Attikbiz with Mason Genie and both UNERVERs with LOVE MOMENT, so a sentence on the page is not always about the product beside it.
So buy on the pump figures, and store by the food. Look for a stated kPa, a stated auto-stop and a stated battery, compare figures rather than shared wording, and ignore canning and multiplier claims. Seal dry goods in jars for the pantry. Seal moist food only for the fridge or freezer, and label it.
If you buy one jar sealer from this page, make it the Konatly M23: the only listing that states a vacuum figure, and the only one with vacuum, auto-stop, battery and jar count all stated, and it never calls itself a canner, with a listed two-year warranty and the second-best rank here. If you want the best-seller, LOVE MOMENT is honest but unspecified; if a clear auto-stop and charge gauge matter most, the Dicorain VP06+ describes both best.
